Application works perfectly with bluetooth connections but it's not the case with wifi connections. Application detects the right wifi connection but doesn't unlock the phone. I am in France and I am using à Free box wifi connection from Free Internet provider.
Could you help me? I am a premium user.

I have now LQE + cocore 5.6 twp before i had LQB on the i9070, and I have some problems with hotspot.
I have an toshiba tablet and when i connect it to the i9070 hotspot, it connects but after a while even with the wifi signal on I lose the connection to the internet on the toshiba. The app i use on the toshiba is an poker online app....
Let me say that the toshiba and that app works well on with an SE wt19i.... and that i try both security ways on the i9070 hotspot...
Does anyone have problems with i9070 hotspoting???
The same app works with 3g but nt wifi in my phone. Maybe the apps fault or mebbe ur wifi has a proxy authentication

Tha app works well in the tablet with wifi from a router and from a Sony phone (hotspot) from a friend, but fails from the i9070.
It works for 5 minutes or so and then the internet breaks, the tablet shows wifi connection to the i9070 but no internet connection on the APP

I'm trying to use the hotspot with this android 6 phone, The clients connects but the internet connection isn't available.
I've played a little bit with apn settings (according to other threads) but nothing changed.
the device is not rooted.

Are you connected to mobile data when you turn on the hotspot? Does mobile data internet work for your hotspot device?
Hi guys, here is the issue:
- When I use hotspot (thetering) to share the internet connection, internet works in the connected devide (laptop or other smartphone), but stop working on the P30. Is this normal? Any workaround? Anyone else experiencing the same?
It's working fine here maybe check ur apn settings?
Working fine on my P30 Pro. No such issue as u describe. Perhaps something off with yout setting. Try reset your network setting to default. [emoji51]

My carrier is Vodafone RO
Now I am in Germany, in roaming the phone is connected to Vodafone DE
The mobile data is working well, i can surf the internet from the phone.
When I make a hotspot, my laptop connects to hotspot, but I on laptop I have the message No internet, secured
On the phone the internet is still working.
I put the sim on another phone Samsung A50 and when I enabled the hotspot the laptop can connect to internet.
I call at Vodafone RO support and they told me that I should change the APN type from default to default, supl, hipri.
I made this change, the hotspot still not working.
Do you have any suggestion ?
LE. I made upgrade to 10.1.0.140 and I have the same issue.

I have an issue with my P20 Pro when using wifi hotspot, or I think it's releated to my phone. To the point...
Sometimes I have to use wifi hotspot from my p20 pro to share internet access to my work laptop. Basically, if I'm at home office I use VPN to connect to internal network of my work place, so I can access internal recources. And everything is working when using hotspot except one program which uses SQL database. On phone wifi hotspot I can't access this database and it looks like my phone is blocking traffic related to this database. Database is giving me error that I'm not connected to internal network. I tried to reset network setting, still the same problem. I checked on some other phones:
google pixel 4a - database access OK,
huawei P20 lite - no database access,
any other non-phone hotspot network - database access OK.
Any segestion why this is happening?
Try usb tether and switching to 5Ghz (if possible on notebook side). Sounds like some routing issues but if you tried resetting already then I don't suppose you'll be able to resolve that.
