I have seen many people are complaining that there are touch issues on Marshmallow on Titan. I also noticed some thread saying they are going to force Motorola for fixing the touch issue. I am using stock MM 6.0 on my Moto G2 XT1068. Can anybody tell me how can I reproduce the touch issue? I am unable to notice any such issue.

Touch issue isn't present in stock ROMs. It is observed in custom ROMs.

Hi people
I've only just got my Butterfly s recently and I am getting some strange touchscreen issues. When I'm typing on the onscreen keyboard it just jumps randomlly as if the screen got confused as to where I touched on the screen. My phone is running the MaximusHD 11.0.0 rom at the moment.
The strange thing is my Galaxy note 2 and my Nexus 5 don't have this problem. Anyone had any issues with the touchscreen?

I don't have this problem with my Butterfly S but I've had this problem with my Desire S...It seemed that was a hardware problem with the touchscreen... But first you need to do a factory reset or reinstall rom before getting to my conclusion

I have this problem on stock rom on Android 4.3 and I think it's a hardware issue like the ghost touch problem a lot of people have also described. It only happens if I type really fast.
Glad I'm not the only one, guessing there isn't any fixes though?

Same problem here But I haven't seen that bug happen on the SkyDragon ROM so far
Just a quick question for everyone. My apps close by themselves in the background. WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger are the 2 worst perpetrators. I will stop receiving messages unless I open the app once every 15 minutes. If I forget, I'll open the app and suddenly get flooded with a ton of "new" messages.
This only started happening since 5.0. I've unlocked my bootloader and installed the Pure Edition 5.0.1 and then upgraded to 5.1 leak and have the same issue. I've wiped my phone and that does nothing. I don't think it's the memory leak glitch because I will have more than 1gb of RAM free when these problems are happening.
Is it a rogue setting in 5.0 that's causing these problems? Has anyone seen this before? I'm back on my 2013 Moto X temporarily until I figure this out, but I'd love to go back to my 2014 X.
Thanks everybody!
This is a known memory leak issue with 5.0. It's supposed to be fixed with 5.1 but I haven't had an update so I can't confirm. Music playing in the background and Bluetooth are issues for me.

Same problem here. For me, the app which gets restarted most often is Nova Launcher. Rebooting the phone fixes this for some time (one or two days) but eventually it come back again

I agree with TriumphGuy and am pretty sure the source *is* the memory leak bug since the symptoms are the same.
BTW I will be very disapointed if this issue is confirmed not being fixed un the upcoming 5.1 official release
So i have a moto x (xt1058) that it started misbehaving very badly. The phone crashes for no reason, apps crash, the phone lags to ****, and the bluetooth emits some interference. when i use a custom rom for some stupid reason the dialer doesn't work. Idk what to do. I want to keep using the phone but it's just too bad for me to use it with those issues. If there's anyone having the same issues let me know. Btw the phone is running on original android 5.1. if someone knows how to flash a custom rom without the dialer issue i will appreciaye it. I hope i can get a reply soon
Hi all,
I had my One M7 Sprint for several years, i got an issue that it freeze while i'm using and reboot, then there is no longer appear the status bar. Beside that i got camera issue as well, open the camera app and it quit intermediately after that.
So strange that if i flash back to Jelly Bean or Kitkat, my phone worked again with no camera. The camera seem like cause by hardware issue. Sometime worked, sometime didn't.
Have anyone advise me about this issue?
Thank you!

Never heard of that, but if you want to really test the hardware, the best thing to do would be to run the RUU and then test it running pure stock. If you still have the issue, then I'd say it's most likely hardware, if not, then you'll be able to use the phone normally. Worth a shot I think.
I have an Motorola G6 Play XT1922-3 and after the Pie update the screen becomes randomly unresponsive, every 3-5 minutes or so. Locking and unlocking the phone fixes the issue but it's really annoying, especially if you have some kind of security on the lock screen; also I don't think is a hardware issue since only this method works, nothing 'physical' works (like slaps, bumps, etc. ).
Do you know some kind of fixes for this?
When my Moto G6 got the first Pie update it was laggy. All over the place random laggy. The fix that was suggested (and it worked) was to reflash the phone with the RSD lite tool and the same OTA rom from https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/ali/official/RETUS/. Note make sure you grab the correct rom from https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/ and the correct channel for you specific device.

I've been struggling with the same issues as the first poster - random screen freeze until the phone is locked and unlocked which I also think is some sort of software issue since updating to Pie. Has anyone managed to find a fix for this at all?

A friend of mine had his G6 lagging a lot, factory reset did the trick for him.
I and currently using Descendant 3, but in my experience it has other issues, so, I would suggest the factory reset, or rooting stock Pie, if you are into that sort of thing.
