I know I allready asked this question but is this link to a TWRP flashable zip of philz touch? Thank you and sorry for asking twice. This is breaking the XDA rules but I didnt find the answer in a search since the subject is concerning a zip downliad link. Also, did you make this? Because if you did, and it is a working TWRP flashable zip of Philze touch I really want to say thanks to you or whom ever dev is.

For xperia series... I own a xperia u
There are several mods bt require individual replacement of files and changing of permissions
I intend replacement of a system app wid the new app
Regarding second question of mine
Is it possible to have cwm recovery that can work without switching off the device ( make a nandroid backup takes a lot of time in my xu almost 20 minutes during which the network is off)

What you should do is download a theme for the xu and just leave the META-INF folder in the theme.zip alone and edit the rest of the folders to your liking.

Not really. Just use 7zip. The Apks are the ones that usually need to be signed. As long as you use the original theme.zip you would download and just replace apks inside you shouldnt have any problems

There is a guide that covers edify scripting. That should help you make an update.zip yourself from scratch.

Writing an update script from scratch is not only time consuming but also risky. If you don't know what you are doing, then you should stay away from writing it from scratch

True, updating with the [NUT] ROM will update DualRecovery as well.

As has been mentioned in the comment above, when you update to .757 using [NUT]'s method the recovery is inside the flashable.zip. All you need to do is flash the flashable zip and the stripped FTF and you will get the newest recovery as well as the newest firmware.

Just go to the dual recovery thread in the cross device development section and update following the instructions. Then update to [NUT]s 757

There have been issues of people getting the .zip failing to flash from a lower version of the dual recovery, so it is wise to update that first.
Hey guys.
I am searching for a recovery that will work with that ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/gala...t/rom-t3054101 ?
or this? "cm-10.2.1-galaxysmtd" got it from here https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?de...td&type=stable
any suggestions?
I've searched the forums but all I found were some builds with embedded cm11 kernels.

Thank you for your effort!
but I am still confused.
Most of the versions of a custom recovery are not flashable over Odin (I did not mention this)
And the last link fpr the twrp is for the gt-I9001.
can you help me see clearly please?

Here is the deal,
I'll come to Düsseldorf (altstadt), then you buy me a Beer , instead you get the recovery package from me. ,
Just Kidding , Use this link and download whatever you need.
The included TWRP should be valid for both ROM you've Posted. Else you can use the second recovery included. Bonus : Stock ROM is also included.
Use following Steps:
1) Copy i9000_twrp2.2.1-recovery.zip to your SD card.
2) Use Odin to flash first recovery_i9000.tar
3) Use 3 button combo to boot to recovery, then flash i9000_twrp2.2.1-recovery.zip from there.
If anything goes wrong, then i9000_stock_rom is also included. You can use odin(also included) to flash it.
And, for such problem please post it always either here OR here .
Prost,

After an update to last cm, cm recovery overwrite twrp. Is there a way to have twrp again?

That is probably because you enabled an option in Developer options, namely "Update Cyanogen recovery". Again, read instructions and you will know how to flash TWRP.

This is offtopic. Google the instruction, there are a lot of sites available which can help, I am sure XDA has a dedicated thread. If you do not like to read search on YouTube.
This is what I found after searching 5 seconds. http://www.androidbeat.com/2015/12/how-to-install-cyanogenmod-cm-13-android-device/
Now please back to topic!

Cmon man, like, there's a whole guide of flashing TWRP out there. Even in this Mi5 forum.
You should really put an effort to read and search before you start asking retorical question in a wrong thread....

You have to install TWRP, we have guide on how to do that in this section. Then just wipe stuff and flash this zip (+gapps).
