420 boot animations plus a couple of others - Nexus 6P Themes and Apps

Here are a few 420 boot animations. The downloads are in the same order as the pics
just go to system/media and rename your original bootanimation.zip to bootanimation
.zip.bak and move the new one to the folder and rename to just bootanimation and set permissions to 0644 reboot and enjoy

Haha, I thought you had 420 boot animations.

You don`t have to use special animations just for this phone, you can use any one you find for this resolution. HTC Wildfire is good, you can find many there.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1053250
Download and don't forget to edit file desc.txt in bootanimation.zip
Code:
480 800 15
with
Code:
240 320 15
And the last >> copy that bootanimation.zip to "system/media" with file explorer (Es File Explorer, Root Explorer, or etc.)
Too bad that it doesn't work that way on GB.
Also tried flashing through CWM, and it also doesn't work.

no sir, i am referring on the animation like the one in emanonv3 boot animation
yes looks like dmesg logcat but not that actually
i trid it on cm7 but it doesnt work.
putting the bootanimation.zip
change the permissions
x x -
x - -
x - -
but the boot is still the default, i tried also other flashable boots
and they work smoothly
i am just amazed on the bios boot animation
If u replaced the default bootanimation how can that still appear! U used root explorer? Try putting it in a flashable zip.
Just open the zip of any flashable bootanimation in an winrar/zip archive. Drag and drop the bios bootanimation into it correctly replacing the existing one. Close it and flash.
Don't extract the zip to replace, then u need to sign it.

done it sir, but with a black screen
i tried again flashing other animation
they still works, haha confused on this one, really
Oh Sry I have not tried that animation, if I do in future then I'll let u know...n don't call me sir
sure, i am looking in a guide, how to make a flashable.zip in cwm
maybe i can make it work, maybe.
Is it possible to put a music with the boot animation just like in Squadzone's CM7 RC 1? The folder in which the bootanimation.zip was stored also had a <I-forgot-the-name>.ogg with the same sound that played during the boot.

any way any how thanks nishanty
It works for me on tj's cm7.
I've attached an ldpi version...simply replacing with rootexplorer works.
but all images should be resized and edited to make it perfect, which i didn do...but changing the desc is good enough i think.

I made this bootanimation from a .gif image (http://static.tumblr.com/u7z4cyt/KKKlyq1dl/avenged-sevenfold-deathbat.gif) with ROM Toolbox Pro. The resolution is 497x550. My phone is HDPI with 540x960 resolution and supports it, so I can say yes.

Bootanimation

I figured out where the stock bootanimation is stored as mentioned by me in the Q&A section.
This thread is for everybody who wants to share a bootanimation for the Shield Tablet.
So below here is how it works:
All bootanimations are situated in root/oem/media.
There is one for portrait mode: bootanimation.zip
And one for landscape: bootanimation_land.zip.
Here is a nice Lcars (StarTrek bootanimation) and one DrWho animation both for landscape.
Rename old bootanimation bootanimation_land.zip to bootanimation_land.zip.old.
Copy this file to root/oem/media and rename it to bootanimation_land.zip:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4t...ew?usp=sharing
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4tNrq8mGo0yUlpqUmNWclhDc1U/view?usp=sharing
Set permissions to rw-r—r—
Now reboot, keep tablet in landscape and enjoy!
Cool thanks any for portiat mode?

Thansks a lot!
Motivated by your post, I ported the nexus 5 boot animations to the 1200x1920 resolution of our tablet, both in landscape and portait!
Just paste both files in /oem/media and change permissions to rw- r-- r--
Btw, do you have any clue where the boot logo is stored?
Can't seem to DL the files. Just getting a preview

In general... I believe the boot logo is stored in the bootloader/kernel due to it being shown at such a low level of boot. I don't think it can be changed easily like the animation is.

Thanks for doing this!! Definitely better than the static stock image. Would be awesome if could port more like the matrix boot animation or even the lollipop one. Tia.
