In a nutshell I have this today:
It's my first day with my phone. I cannot use any case because in my country (Turkey) it's impossible to find any cases. I bought some but they will be delivered at least 1 month ago.
So is there any-where to find a replacement part for my back cover? I asked it to Oneplus itself but they told me that they don't sell spare parts. I looked into ebay but there's not any of it.
I know it's not a big thing but I have a big OCD problem. And it looks like a disaster to me.
ANy help will be appreciated.
I've seen many parts on eBay for OnePlus 3 but no replacement back cover yet. They have everything else though like front glass, vibration motor, battery, antenna, speaker, camera cable.

Ouch, I feel your pain dude.. I would suggest maybe covering it up with a skin for the time being and when they do start making replacement backings eventually, get one then..
two months ago, seen at Aliexpress, price was around 70$, but now item is not available. Just contact with CS and ask how much they will charge for back housing replacement at RMA.
https://dbrand.com/shop/oneplus-3-skins
Try one of these in the meanwhile. I'm sure you'll find a combination that suits your style!

Im sure trying to replace it on your own will cause more damage to the device because you can mess up adhesives, screen, other internals & etc
And when they say they dont sell parts it means you will endup with a cheaper manufactured backcover that is not even original. Just keep the device as it is those two dots shouldnt bother you
I'll bough 2 original cases. I think it will be ok when I get them.
By the way on the teardown videos of OnePLus 3 it looks pretty easy to remove the back cover. No adhesive or something. Just removing the bottom screws will do the job.
Man, i had the absolute same problem. When i unpacked my OP3, the charger fell out of the xox and hit the phone on the absolute same place on the bezel
I sold mine on ebay the other day and ordered a new one.
it's really simple to disassemble op3. two screws, and back cover is removed. no glue, ect.

That's kind of a funny comment as the OEM is a lower cost Chinese company.

I know I'm late here but how do you guys suggest it would be possible to produce fake back housings at the price they are charging for them? I mean how many people would realistically buy parts exclusively made for one device, and an oneplus 3 at that? A few thousand people at most? If this is the case I don't think it would be financially viable to make any sort of production line for these parts. Aside from stealing original ones from the factory, or mabye defective ones I don't see how they would produce such a limited quantity for so cheap unless they are originals? Any insight?
There are many options for the back cover. The back on my Oneplus 3 was damaged but not as bad as yours. I was planning to replace my back but all i had was a tiny scratch so it wasn't worth it. I will change it when my back is really messed up. When you search for the cover on ebay just search for battery cover You can tell most fakes as they don't have the oneplus logo and for a different colour, try to get one with the sim card tray. Try to get a cover near Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangdong that's where the Oneplus headquaters is. There's also a midnight black cover as well!

Does anyone know how much HTC UK charge to replace the housing (not the screen or battery cover) of a HD2?
I would like to get mine changed but HTC UK want me to send in the phone before they will give an price!
Ouch! I hope you like the results... I'm curious about the price of that too. It's a bit early, but you might find a parts-only phone with a smashed screen or something and a suitable body.
go to truesuppliers webpage they have them for 80.00

Do a google search before you buy there. I've read they sell cheap/poor quality stuff.
Looking too now. Mine has developed a crack that has spread from the battery slot to the edge of the screen.
i rang htc uk last friday asking about this. they said they could pick up the device next day. repair time would be 10 days. cost to replace all plastics (by this i assume they mean the main housing/battery cover. possibly the main body of the phone as well) £65. probably best to call them yourself to check that price. they said they would be in touch to let me know the price when the damage had been assessed by an engineer.
i didnt bother with this as my housing only has superficial damage so went looking for a good replacement. got one on order now. when it comes i'll post up a pic. check my thread for updates. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=851273
thought id post up on here as i have done on the hd2 forum as to where people out of warranty, not under contract or not wanting to risk some of the crap on ebay can find genuine spare parts for this phone?
i myself would like a battery cover and rear housing but cannot find anywhere that will sell one. are phone companies just making phones now and not parts to go with them and leaving it up to 3rd parties to make knock off goods?
others threads where people have tried htc directly have been unsuccessful. my provider doesnt want to help and i dont want to part with hard earned cash for ebay items or similar as they all say they are genuine items but have subtle differences each time.
anyone help?

I bought a replacement battery cover here: http://www.netimes.com/shop/original-htc-hd2-battery-cover-p-2564.html?cPath=80_731
It appeared to be a genuine part and worked well.
You can find the housing parts here:
http://shop.brando.com/search.php?keyword=hd2&Submit=Product+Search
Note that they also sell the battery cover but slightly dearer, the reason why I didn't purchase from them. However, I have purchased other products from them in the past and they are trustworthy.

cheers for all the links. none look too promising though. as for the htc store. they have a battery cover but nothing else. i need the main housing. found one from another shop. i will post up pics and details when it arrives. looked pretty good in the picture.
just kinda curious, since we are able to replace the lcd screen ourselves,is it even possible to say upgrade it to a SAMOLED screen?
amazon has the orginal battery door for 12 USD
I know this belongs in accessories but I believe the more people will see it here.
Click here if you want to buy a battery door.
The point of forum separation is to keep things organized. It doesn't matter if more people will see it here, it's the wrong section.
Thanks, that could be a very useful site!
Lol "OEM"
Moved to accessories.
darn they're out of stock. Was thinking of picking up 1 for myself since I scratched mine.
I can't wait for them to come back in stock. Great find.
You sir are the man.
That **** scratches so easily.
thank you for that! now i can save on the back case and just buy a new cover
maybe one of the only pros for Samsung making such a cheap door. :\
I actually got three before they were out of stock an sold two an kept one. These things scratch so dam easy its almost not even worth gettin a replacement cover cause itll be scratched as well in no time. I even put a zagg on the back as soon as i got it an when i took it off to put a bestskinsever on it still had some fine scratches on it an i baby the **** out of this phone, so the only reason i can see spendin more money on a replacement is if i cracked the cover or something
I will buy some once they are in stock.
I will be ordering too once it's back in stock. Already have 2 fine scratches on the back after keeping the "stock" clear plastic cover packaging thingy for over 3 weeks. The scratches came from me wiping the back from the oil in my skin with a lens cleaner. UGH.
But curious, the battery cover has that antenna. I wonder if this OEM cover will have it, my guess it won't. And if it doesn't, I suppose we have to remove the antenna from the old cover?
They have they antenna in them

Yeah, seriously why would these not have them. They're OEM.
I want one. Since people have 3... Be sure to list an extra on ebay for those of us that can't get the stock I'd also like a new bezel... Lol. It has some slight imperfection 'mini' chips but I guess I could try sanding it? Lol

I would assume so as well. But I have bought OEM parts (for the G1) and when they specify back case, it's just the back case. No cushioning foam or whatever that was attached to the one that came with my phone.
But I just checked the additional pictures and it does show the NFC antenna. Good thing. Just hope they actually ship as that.

Anderdroid, I believe the thread is for the back (battery) cover and not the fascia (bezel). I checked the site and there is no listing for what you're looking for.

Oh yeah I know it's about the battery cover. I need one of those too.
I thought Samsung would have done something similar like they did with the Galaxy S give a spare one with maybe a different colour, or just a spare, I honestly don't know where you could buy these from Google themselves, because this is very much vital to the NFC feature to work, if you break it then you NEED a new one, and one from China might not work the same. These might be OEMs, but it's better than nothing.
Good News : Nexus S OEM Back Battery Cover
Hello folks,
I know we have all been wanting to protect our Nexus S, especially the back battery cover.
I have been searching...and finally found this one site that was selling, but they were out of stock for some time. Recently they changed the status to be available sooner or later than Feb 14th 2011.
This is great news, and thought i will share it with you guyz.

Greetings,
I am planning to buy a replacement screen for my Z1, so that I can replace it myself.
I have 2 choices:
https://www.replacebase.co.uk/sony-xperia-z1-replacement-lcd-touch-screen-assembly-black-original/
https://www.replacebase.co.uk/sony-...lass-assembly-with-frame-black-original-4419/
The second one includes the frame. Which one is easier to replace, are there any advantages or disadvantages?
Also have you ever used the e-shop? I have read good reviews about it and since it is in EU I don't have to pay any tax.
Thanks for you responses.

from my experience of rebuilding this handset ide go for the link below the reason why i say this not only you don't need to pick and clean the glue from the glass and frame so the glue is stuck right to bond to create a water tight seal this is all done for you and the lcd is fitted by them so not a lot can go wrong for the price of a couple of £ more what would cost about the same
https://www.replacebase.co.uk/sony-...lass-assembly-with-frame-black-original-4419/
but if your a hands on person and like a challenge with the thought is it water tight then i'm also all for the other link
i am not to sure about the shop tho but i will be saving it in my list of favs as it looks like a good shop you found

I bought phone in local shop in Georgia... I contact Oneplus support and they sad that i must contact shop where from i bought it and they must send the phone...
To send then my phone without service coast, it becomes 250 $ only read...
On ebay there is only one damaged Oneplus 3 with damaged cover....
Finding a new housing in good condition will be hard for sure.
Usually when people damage the phone they also damage the case ...
And you also won't find actually new housings for sale because OnePlus doesn't sell parts alone to resellers. Only their service centers get replacement parts.
Soo ... You have a pretty big problem ☺ï¸

I'm also looking for a replacement back cover and I searched all over the internet. Any of back cover in the links above are just fake and bad quality product. Not original. Just watch some youtube disassembly videos of OP3 and compare the back cover with the selling ones. Especially there's many difference on the battery side.

I don't recommend you to buy them. They are not authentic.
I have bought one from AliExpress and I am very satisfied with it ,just made one mistake. Ordered back cover without OnePlus logo ,it's pain to transfer from one to another,so look for one that has logo attached already.
