Does Lenovo A7000 support VoLTE? Jio Sim?

The title says it all I guess..
If yes then only first sim or both sims (after custom rom).

Jio sim works well, only 4G. No VOLTE for A7000

Use Jio4GVoice app for calling
No volte support for our device.

jio works fine,but no volte support for now.i guess its possible only if lenovo release updates.

A7000a volte problem plz open volte apdate plz

I have a factory unlocked T mobile Note 4.... I use Jio sim in it.. Jio provides me with LTE/VOLTE. I enabled Volte option in Call Settings but nothing happens...Call failed error comes up when I try to call. Any help will be appreciated.

I believe on SM-N910T volte works only with T-mobile sim card.and i think jio volte works with indian units only not usa units.

Something to do with region i think.
although in usa AT&T sim volte works on Tmobile note 4.
in india the only N910G note 4 model Support volte.
Try install any N910G based rom like dr.keten m6 with datafix cuz many users using jio volte through this rom.
maybe it will work.

Don't be lazy dude.just google it ( dr.keten rom m6 n910g ) thats it.
You must be on stock marshmallow before you flash this rom and Dont forget to flash n910t datafix otherwise your simcard won't work.

Didnt work at all.... Can u please provide me with some different methods that i can try... Can't we switch the volte operation bands??

No enhanced LTE mode on Moto G5Splus

Hey guys i just got a Moto G5s+ and i cant find an enhaced LTE mode on the device and Volte /HD is not shown and i am unable to call using a Reliance Jio Sim . I have tried both slots and multiple factory resets and Network Resets . I havent even rooted the device i Hope you guys can help me .

so u didn't unlock bootloader

by the way did uu check in settings for volte option. and also try *#*#4636#*#* before flashing firmware

There is no option for volte and i did try *#*#4636#*#* there volte was toggled on , my phone is from UAE is it the reason i am not getting volte , I am new to this so if you have time please give me instructions to flash the stock rom

You would have to see what bands are available on the uae variant and see if it will work on the carrier you are trying to use now.
Disregard anything else you see here.

Well the device wasn't volte supported at launch... Kindly do all the ota updates get volte working on stock rom

How to enable vo LTE after Oreo update on unlocked???

After the Oreo update this Morning I tried to enable volte and video calling on unlocked firmware which is U1 but the shortcut Master app does not let you get into IMS settings anymore. Also tried using the quick shortcut maker app with no success. Just a heads up for people updating to Oreo using U1 firmware. Just for reference this is on the T-Mobile network on the US unlocked snapdragon. If anybody has any input or could figure it out that would be awesome if not I will probably end up flashing the T-Mobile Oreo CSC which will give me the T-Mobile boot animation which I don't want.

I had the same experience, Phone INFO or Shortcut Master can't launch RIL service menu or IMS Settings anymore on Oreo. The dev is aware of the issue & hopefully will find a solution. I have VoLTE & Wifi calling enabled by CSC & they work fine but you need root in order to do so.

Settings/connections/mobile networks/vo lte calls on off it's on my unlocked 95ou1 phone

Never had an issue with wifi calling, volte is enabled default on unlocked with t mobile sim...I would still like to enable the RCS video calling though

To get shortcutmaster lite working....try ##BRAND#

Never tried that method before but I want to dialer and typed ##brand# says ussd processing and then it fails

T-Mobile may have an equivalent to ##BRAND#...not sure what it may be though....may need to factory reset....sorry I can't help more

You now need super user entitlement to enable video calling on unlocked samsung phones running Oreo. Only way to get it is to root the phone. Other option is to load your xarrier's firmware and get all the bloat apps you brought the unlocked phone to avoid. Hopefully someone comes up with a way around this without the need to root the phone.

Major bummer for those with unlocked devices on Oreo now.

After upgrade to OREO launching IMSSettings works if you root your phone, at least in Samsung S8 intl version works fine.

For tmobile, volte/ wifi calling works out of box on Snapdragon/ U1 . Whats your carrier?

Flashed xaa (all carriers unlocked) 8.0 as I didn't wanted extra bloat apps.
Can I manually turn the volte on without root?

For Tmobile goto Settings --> Connections --> Mobile Networks --> and Enable Volte there.

Airtel isn't VOLTE enabled network yet. They're in beta phase. It means Airtel VOLTE is available only in some specific regions. So wait for Airtel to fully launch VOLTE services in your circle.

Airtel is VOLTE enabled now but Motorola doesn't support it yet and it doesn't look they are going to enable it anytime soon. 8.1 update maybe? ??*

Im from Kerala correct place is kochi Airtel volte is working fine for me.and I didn't get volte when its in stock ROM.but in custom ROM I get volte.. Currently I am in aex ROM also in pe ROM also..

Can please assure me with more screenshot to prove that Airtel VoLTE is working on your phone?
Because nobody is yet able to use Airtel VoLTE on G5s Plus.

Sure I can show you some screenshot
You can see theres HD icon showing that's the call is voltee..and instead of normal hellotune its a beep sound which is showing its a volte call.. Please note the HD icon on the 3rd pic..call quality is awesome....
Note: please backup your persist and efs before flashing... Never flash your efs and persist with other..

For rooting you need to follow the thread in development section..
The first step is you need to unlock bootloader and install twrp. Be careful u need to install 64bit supported twrp and also has the option to backup persist partition. If twrp is not compatible for 64 bit youu cant. Install oreo roms because they are 64bit so be carefull.Install magisk for root.
Flashing a custom rom you can refer videos from YouTube
