Nexus 6 7.1 Image Download? - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
I've been looking around for the Nexus 6 7.1 preview image but can't find it on the developer preview website. It just shows the 6P, 5X, and Pixel C.
I know I can flash a stock image and then take the developer preview OTA but I'd rather just fastboot flash it. Am I just looking in the wrong places?
Thanks for the help!

It doesn't exist yet. We will probably get something in November/December. 7.1.1 preview?

Thanks for the reply.
So the only way currently is via the Dev Preview OTA?

Nevermind, I misunderstood. I thought some people were already running 7.1 but it seems it's not out at all.
Sorry for the confusion!

Are there any stock barebones 7.1 AOSP ROMs with essentially no extra features?
TIA

Best ROM for PDroid? With close-to-stock experience?

Hi folks,
what's currently the best ROM to use PDroid on the Nexus 7?
I'd prefer an experience as close to a stock ROM as possible. It seems that 4.2.1 ROMs are out (not supported by the AutoPatcher), and I've tried to patch a few of the 4.2 ROMs floating around and haven't had much success either. Who is currently running PDroid and what ROM did you use as a base?

AFAIK opensensation2 has pdroid installed
You haven't had much success because development was dropped a long time ago. It only supports gingerbread.... sorry bud. I loved pdroid too

I should have clarified that I'm using PDroid 2.0, which is under active development for Jelly Bean.
Thanks for the tip regarding OpenSensation. For the time being I now patched a vanilla 4.1.2 AOSP build (4.2.1 is being worked on). Will look at OpenSensation these days.

Well I don't have a Sensation... and OpenSensation for the Nexus seems to be pretty much in beta... not to mention that the OpenSensation developer has been warning people that his server is compromised and that they shouldn't download anything (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35428325&postcount=9591), so I'll be taking my time with this.

There is only one rom available in 4.4 right now, as far as I know, and it's for the Nexus.
i know a few teams are working on it but nothing workable yet

How do people get 5.0.2 on their Nexus 6?

I noticed many people and custom roms are already on 5.0.2 yet the only stock rom released so far for 5.0.2 is Nexus 7. My question is can you flash Nexus 7 OTA to your Nexus 6?

Cyanogenmod

Hey guys! So I was googling around trying to find out if cyanogenmod has a public list that shows the priority of their phones. Like, if they follow a pattern. Can someone direct me where to find that if it exists somewhere? I see they're rolling out cm 13 and I'm anxious to know when it will reach my shamu!

I meant official nightlies from their website, I could have specified that. I see the unofficial builds in the Nexus 6 development section but I'm waiting for official builds!

You got it from here?
http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=shamu
I'm also assuming you clean flashed/wiped/formatted and used the correct M GAPPs?

Yes, I got the rom from there and used opengapps. I installed it with multirom however, that may be my issue, but it didn't flash correctly, it fails.

It flashes just fine in Multirom. You are not using the 'fixed' Multirom. See it's thread.

It should flash with trwp.
I usually don't jump in until at least a few weeks of nighties since this is my main phone, but I will keep an eye out on this one for sure.
