Hi, I've rooted my P9 and everything has worked out fine. I'm currently running EMUI 4.1 with Xposed framework installed correctly with Xstana working fine. I'd like to be able to quickly soft reboot/reboot into recovery from the power buttons directly, although the issue here is that APM+ doesn't seem to pick up my phone's power menu when I hold down the power button like it tells me to. Is this an issue with EMUI and simply cannot be fixed? Or have I done something incorrectly that isn't allowing me to modify the power button menu? Any help would be appreciated!

I'm running ApeX 5.2 on my Captivate and, for some reason, the power key has stopped working recently. Everytime I hold the key to bring up the menu, it does nothing except the quick vibrate. I tried to re-flash the device, which fixed it until I rebooted.
Any suggestions or anything I'm not thinking of?
I've been using CM9 on the touchpad for a long time without any problem. but recently, whenever I tried to reboot the pad by pushing the power bottom, instead of showing the power menu, I got the volume up menu. I can still use the power button to turn on/off the screen. So, it seems the hardware is still OK. I already updated to the latest nightly, still the same problem. Anyone knows what's going on and how to fix it? At least, is there another way to reboot the pad?

I recently upgraded from 4.2 to 4.3 (Slim Bean) and suddenly my Power button doesn't work well.
When I press it, it doesn't wake the screen (not all the time, sometimes it does.)
When I remove the battery and put it in, the phone turns on immediately without me pressing the power button.
Sometimes the shutdown menu comes up randomly.
In CWM, I can't select anything ( the power button was used to select things in the menu.
Is it related to the upgrade, or is it just a coincidence of broken parts?
Any advice/workarounds?

It is a coincidence. Turn off the phone and try to turn it back on. Do you have the same issue? Note that Slim is not even loaded yet. Try to clean the button, search how, many threads on this subject here. Workaround is called Volume Rocker Wake, it's in ROM settings. Different place on different ROMs, but almost all custom ROMs have it. Good luck!
I have a rooted mdk running stock 4.4.2 I factory restored it because my power button stopped working. Walla it works again...for about a week. Added xposed back but only the multi window module. And button savior. I'm concerned this may be an xposed issue and there are remnants left behind from previous modules. After I did a factory restore it was not exactly like out of the box.
Just pulled the battery and had to continually press power button during start up to turn on phone.
Any help much appreciated.
