Cant view windows folder from computer

I used to be able to see the windows folder (on my phone) from windows explorer (on my computer). Where the hell did it it go????

Hidden? Check folder options on you're computer.

Sorry I should've put that in my initial post. I have the folder options set to show hidden/system files.

You're running Vista? Windows shows it by default. Vista doesn't.
Anyway, you have to disable option Hide Windows System Files and Folders in folder options.

ive disabled - hide system files - but still not able to see it.

yep, i have the same problem

[Q] install games

is there a way to install games on wp7 hd2 not via market cause i have a download transfer data slow on 3g
or can i connect to the internet on wp7 hd2 via laptop to get the speed of my adsl

Probably yes, Not sure though.
Set your phone to Airplane mode and connect it to Zune on your PC.
You can download either off zune or the phone .

but the games is not .xap this is the problem or i dont know

So it's not made for WP7 man, you have to make sure it's mentioned before download.
all applications related to wp7 is .xap, and not .cab!!!!
but if you are sure that this is a game for wp7 and it's not a .cab file
try the following:
change the extension of the file to .xap,or if it's a several files so open a .xap file of what ever.
open it with winrar, and empty the xap file from its' continent and add your files of the game in it. rename the new xap file with the game name!!!!

anyway to insert speech language on system directory?

hi, I have an interop unlocked Lumia 830, and i've installed windows 10 mobile preview on this, but I can't download speech languages, is there anyway to put this on the C: folder on phone with full file system access and interop unlock?

This can only be doned before you upgrade to WM10.

I used to make a copy of DUShared directory on my PC. Every time i install wm10 interopunlock, full acces System , copy, update phone...install
EDIT: create those directories inside DUShared. Extract and copy inside DUShared the updateimput.xml file.
extract and copy inside PackagesToInstall directoy the speeech files from my ondrive account.

when I click to search updates it tell that the phone was updated, what is the process?

I think:
1)copy those files in phone folders.
2)speech, ad language-download,
3)settings, update.
Or only 1 and 3.

I think i have only one part of packagestoinstall. Only cortana in spanish is talking

Install xaps without sideloading on windows 10 mobile?

I wanted to install djamols root tool xap on windows 10 mobile but i do not have a computer with me at the moment. When I look for xap file in the file explorer and i tap the file it asks me if I want to install the root tool but when I hit install nothing happens. Is this only for signed apps from the store?

i found on my old pc file name "recovery.img". i would like to open that file on my pc. how to do this can you help me?
virtualbox doesnt open that file, power iso/deamon tools say file could be damage.
i dont have my old phone btw.

If it's from an android device,
It's a copy of the recovery partition and contains no user data.
It's basically the program that would create a data backup.
It's really only usable on the device it was created for.

Additionally, If your img is from an android 9 or lower device, you can use imjtool in a linux or MacOS environment to unpack that .img file. Here are can find the instructions on how to use it. You can the look for files pertaining to fstab and get a clue there or on a default.prop. Just don't edit something you're not sure of or you may fry your emmc.
