Hi all,
I have an unlocked international snapdragon Note 4 (N910F), and already installed all Oculus apps. SW version ANK4. Will I have issues running the Gear VR?
Please someone with same device or similar experience help me out with this question. I have a VR on its way, but still a week before arrival.

I have the same european Note 4 and the Gear VR is on its way to me but since today i have found two people with the same setup who confirmed that the Gear VR works with it, so we should be hopefully fine.

I have an SM-N910F, which was not working on my old firmware. I just upgraded it to the N910FXXU1ANK4 firmware. It now works with my Gear VR!

Yep you need the Update ANK4 for it to work but that update is already since around 4 weeks in Germany, Poland and some other countries available, so we should be fine.
No success to work the Oculus vr with my Note 4
Hi guys,i have the Note 4 model N910F with the BasebandVersion ANK5 and doesn't work with my Oculus Vr Innovator edition .
If you have any suggestion to work it out i'm all ears!

Receives at least 20 updates in the last 2 days for the Gar VR and Oculus apps on the Verizon GN4 DE, all stated compatibility for Android 5.0 Lollipop. It seems Samsung is very close on releasing Lollipop for the US carries of the GN4.
Its too late to keep hoping for gear VR official launch in INDIA for note 4 (SM-N910G) . I don't think they value much of indian users to give any official release. One of the factors I went for note 4 was Gear VR..however the SM-N910G has recently been upgraded to lollipop officially..I am here to know if we order or ship VR to india from outside like US or UK..will it be compatible with indian note 4...anybody has any confirmation about it should I go for one...
Any help relating to this issue is appreciated

Recently in December of 2016, there were leaked benchmark results of the Galaxy Tab S2 running Android Nougat 7.1. This is important since the chipset within the Galaxy Tab S2 is that of the Galaxy Note 4 N910C (Exynos variant)- the Exynos 7 series. Since both chipsets are virtually identical, a port for the N910C is undoubtedly very reasonable. The Galaxy Tab S2 will certainly be receiving the Nougat update, putting the N910C of getting Nougat too in the realms possibility!

Not only this, but according to a Samsung Turkey roadmap (https://i2.wp.com/www.gottabemobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Nougat.jpg?resize=662,700) the Galaxy Tab S2 should be receiving its Nougat update on the 23rd of May 2017. Hold your horses everyone, looks like the Exynos variant of the Galaxy Note 4 should receive an Andorid Nougat port soon!

Hello.
I'm interested in buying Samsung Gear VR (model SM-R325)+remote control - for my Samsung Note 8 (SM-N950F).
That Gear VR model (SM-R325) is out of stock in all my country's official Samsung Mobile store (what a shame LOL).
Search on Amazon gives a U.S. version of the Gear VR SM-R325.
Is there any difference between U.S. version and other versions? (warranty is not an issue for me)
