Wrong flash after un-branding - Huawei P9 Plus Questions & Answers

Good Morning,
Yesterday in the attempt to unbrand my P9+ VIE-L09 and correct the S.N to C432 i figured out that the zip that has to be flashed is for the EVA-L09 (oeminfo-huawei-p9-eval09-c432.zip) but only after flashing. Now my phone can boot the firmware but no radio is working, I already tried to reflash with the SD Method the correct .APP firmware but the phone stop to 5% and giving an error regarding an incompatibility problem.
actually i can boot the phone, go to original recovery or twrp, boot in fastboot mode.
how can i do to reinstall the correct VIE-L09 firmware on the phone?
thanks in advance for your help

What firmware did u have originaly on your phone before u unbrand it? Your phone is bricked because u flashed a firmware for P9 and not P9 Plus.

Try this, its the stock firmware for TIM Italy.

Thanks A lot Mostar088 for your help and for the link to the official TIM italy firmware.
Actually the phone won't install the firmware because of the wrong oeminfo flashed at the start. By the way, I found a solution to bring the phone to life again and I will write a small guide ASAP to help other Users.
here follow a small summary of the step i follow:
The actual solution was to flash trough TWRP the correct oeminfo.img to the phone, then wipe data, cache & dalvik, after that, I powered off the phone, inserted an SD card with the NO BRAND VIE-L09 B160 Firmware (UPDATE.APP) and restarted the phone with the volume+ and volume- pressed togheter
finally the phone accepted the update and restored the correct firmware on the phone, now it works everything and I have a stock unbranded P9+ with the correct SN (VIE-L09C432B160)
Thanks a lot again for the help,
I will post the solution and the correct files ASAP.

Some released firmware has UPDATE.APP for vendor. In can be found in folder named "Part 2". Inside of it you can find the file with a capacity of 17.9 kb. Hoping that Vodacom released it somewhere.

I know it has. But we need CUSTC02 to get this firmware B817 work for non Vodacom user. 432 or 433 and etc. wont make this firmware work normally except having CUSTC02. This firmware can be used by Vodacom user only normally without having CUST error during installation.

Anyway, no problem about bootloader locked. I kept my unlocked code. But, still not working on B817. Still we need CUSTC02.
It's not so much of an issue from what can see. I did a factory reset and restored all my apps and data to see what happens. Still the same except that I now have LTE. Still no cust. If you have a look at the cust folder for our network, you'll see that there are masses of applications that will automatically install, all of which I am not partularly interested in. All I am interested in is the fact that everything runs and runs more smoothly than any other version I have used before, and there are no visible bugs so far

I totally agree with @rodlane .... this build is almost bug free .... only navigation bar hide option is not there .... and the battery is good .... i use 3g network all the time so it doesn't last long but no more mediaserver issues and no more heating ...... also with the built in lollipop battery saver function it is better then ever but huawei has hidden it dunno why but This app opens it :laugh:
Guys please help me I'm stuck on b800 after downgrading from b817, now I can't upgrade nor downgrade to kitkat..every rom file I flash it fails on 2%..I'm running stock firmware not rooted...
After several days finding ways how to successfully install B817 without CUST error, finally I made it. Now by playing the Vendor CUSTC version, I finally managed to change my vendor version to CUSTC02.

I need the oeminfo C150 for VIE-L09 (P9 Plus), thanks!!
Does anyone have the oeminfo file for New Zealand (C706)? Or maybe a way to edit a current oeminfo (I have C432 oeminfo)?
Or can it be extracted somehow from the stock firmware (VIE-L09C706B150) so I can flash it?
Need it to return completely to stock for a warranty issue.
Thanks.

l have a huawei p9 eva-L09
and it only boots into erecovery i tried to forceflash 5 difrent update.app files
every time software install failed incompatibility with current version please download correct update package
i dont know wich variant it is but i have specs
manufactured in the netherlands
32gb rom 3gb ram
single sim
ffc id qiseva-l09
oem unlock is disabled
the only thing i remember when it was on is that it said Vodafone be (wich is odd because belgium doesnt have vodafone please help im searching for over 48h now im desperate
If you bought it in the Netherlands, and its a single sim... you could flash a rom for the C432 variant... Try this..
http://www.stechguide.com/download-huawei-p9-b180-marshmallow-firmware-europe/
Youll need an SDCard reader if your phone is dead.. and follow the instructions to "Force Flash" your device with a "FULL" package.. not an update.. a full package is usually about 2.5 - 3GB+ when unzipped
Remember.. Before flashing any rom... Check your devices Model No, and Match the Rom to it.. Your full phone model may look like this:EVA-L09C432B182..
the P9 uses CUSTC prefix for their roms.. the EU one is "C"432.. but you can flash a "C"900 on an EU/UK P9.. so READ READ READ everything about flashing, before you even Start..
Good Luck

Dc Phoenix and Dc Unlocker is a trusted site, if u search the forum u can see that lot of people has used it to unlock bootloader and repair the phone. But u need some skills in flashing and repair to use it so u know. But if your phone can go to fastboot mode u can repair your phone. U can use HuaweiUpdate Extractor to extract update.app and flash with fastboot adb. This is a giude to P8.

Hmm... Ive never used "update" packages on any device ive had.. only "Full" ... especially when your changing OS builds.. "KK > LP > MM " I leave that to the DEVS and their OTAs, but when it comes to manual flashing.. always use FULL packages.. Also, HiSuite will only let you do a Recovery if the Recovery Rom is already on the device in a Backup partition... Its not like SONY or LG, where the Software downloads it from their servers..
Good luck with getting this sorted Mikxx, Lets know how you get on

Hello, yes c636. I tried rollback. But dload does not allow. It says not compatible. As i analyzed, im sure i missed full hw. From hisuite during ulpate to B320. Do you think flashing full hw from B320 will do? If it will. Can you please upload me full hw? And fmash thru dload? I cant flash image file. Sys. Boot, recovery wont do. Im not rooted.

Ok. What file to flash? The rollback? The B300 southern east asia roll back? Then if successful should better off flash ahead the least version stock right? Should i then proceed with dload process or hisuite for a stock fw? What are the risk in flshing thru dc. With 'test' build? i really appreciate your effort sharing your expertise and knowledge.
U have to use rollback file from huawei website
then dowangrade using any full M file
so bootloader and FRP will reset to default
then update back to 7
All steps : dload
