I am currently on G925AUCU3CPD6, I would like to update my phone. As of right now I am 5 updates behind. I see an ODIN file for the next update (after my version), but I don't see any newer update files posted. Does anyone have any ODIN files or sideload updates to share?

Is it possible to update directly to the latest firmware LCA43 for the gear live? Or do I have to update sequentially through all the updates. As well, I can't seem to find all the stock OTA files for the updates if I have to update in order. So help locating the OTA files would be helpful thanks

The new update for G-900A Samsung Galaxy S5 was launched on 9 march. I can't update my phone because I'm not in USA.
Can anyone post the OTA file or the .zip file to manual update my S5? I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for the update.
See link
I have the same problem. I just got my phone back to normal after flashing the previous update as update.zip on an external sd card from the recovery screen. I'd like to install this update without losing all of my data again but I'm not sure it is possible when abroad. Very annoying!

Requires root. In addition, those files are not a complete PA1 update zip file. They require Odin. Please stop referencing that thread to folks looking for the PA1 update zip.

Hi guys, i have no idea of this phone, I own a S3 i9300, with TWRP and tried CM11, 12 and 13, also installed CM and TWRP on other phones like i9303, i9070, etc..
Now a friend bougth this phone and hates the 4.4.2 stock rom full of bloatware and branded.
Can anyone point me out to a nice CM rom for this phone (I didn't found any official or unofficial), this update thall all talks about PA1, will be good for that mobile? He says that the OTA updates shows no new updates... I didn't put my hands on the phone yet, so I want to be prepared for what i shall try...
Is there another debranded rom (with no verizon bloatware)?
Is it dangerous to try to flash a variant like SM-G900M, or so..?
Thanks in advance!!
Hi,
I like to upgrade SM-G800F from (rooted) KitKat 4.4.2 to Lollipop 5.1.1 via OTA, ODIN or FlashFire.
Is there a OTA update file available for download, I see that FlashFire can flash OTA updates.
Or can I modify a official G800FXXU1BPE1_G800FPRO1BPE1_G800FXXU1BPC4_HOME.tar.md5 firmware file to use as a OTA file?
It would be nice if all my date could stay intact as my app's.
Any information or suggetions are more than welcome
I think with the rooted device You will not get any official update. I suggest You to pick the desired firmare for Your model and flash it via Odin.
The data partition will be kept but sometimes the old app settings will collide with the new app versions. Better You make backupscof Your important app data e.g. with helium (does not require root).
With xposed I managed to download the OTA file which is 886,66mb in size, however I have another problem that the update.zip file does not complete and stop abrupt.
I susspected this because the remaining mb's jumps to fully downloaded and it went from 98% download to 100% however the download went realy realy slow.
I tried to backup the update.zip file at /data/fota and always I see that the end of the file is corrupt.
Is there a way to download this OTA file somewhere?
I just bought a new R1 HD Prime version. It's on 6.1, and the wireless update is showing that no updates are available. So I've tried manually downloading the OTA updates and applying them from local storage using the wireless update app, but I get an error message when attempting to do so (Signature verification failed). How am I supposed to update this phone? It's completely stock.
The only thing I've noticed is that the build time of what's on my phone is slightly different than what the 6.4 OTA says it's supposed to be updated from:
My build - BLU_R0010UU_V6.1_GENERIC 17-06-2016 14:53
OTA build - BLU_R0010UU_V6.1_GENERIC_6.0_20160617-1456
Notice the build time is different by 3 minutes. Is that maybe the source of the problem I'm having? I'm honestly at a loss here and I really want to get this phone updated.
Found out what the problem was with the manual OTA...I committed that cardinal sin of not opening up the zip file and realized I needed to extract update.zip I'm still not sure why the wireless update wasn't getting the OTA from 6.1 to 6.4, but once I was able to manually update to 6.4 I got the subsequent OTAs.
So guys I'm on android 10 one ui 2.0 the very first version of it dec 2019
And just decided to get the newer version of 2.0 the jan or feb patch but the ota update comes up with april 2021 update
N960FXXS8FUC4 this is I think 2.5 one ui the very latest version, do Samsung delete older updates off the sever now and just push the latest updates?I'm 17 updates behind I was expecting to be able to update 1 by 1
Instead of being forced to jump to the very latest version in 1 hit
Bump for help guys please help guys this forum Is dead i know due to the note 9 being old but i would really appreciate the help
Maybe I should remake this thread and put it into the s20 section because that forum is not dead?
I don't believe Samsung delete previous OTA updates from their servers.
OTA updates are incremental, in other words each update will apply changes from a specific previous version to update it to a specific newer version.
So for example a recent over the air (OTA) update would be for 8FUC4 to update to 8FUD1, this update would only be downloaded by your phone if it was on 8FUC4, also when the phone reboots to install the update it again checks that the current software is, in this example 8FUC4 and will only install the update if 8FUC4 is the currently installed software.
If you update automatically in this manner then it's one upgrade at a time I believe.
If you want to update in one jump to a particular firmware then you would need to manually download a specific "full firmware " from an independent website such as Sammobile, usually approximately 4Gb in size to your pc and then flash thus full firmware using ODIN software
My phone uk note 9 unlocked doesn't update each fw one at time like I would like ,im currently 17 updates behind and when I go to update via ota its skips all 16 updates and offer me to install the lastest version of android so Samsung must delete the old firmware from the fota servers
