We are starting the incremental roll-out of OxygenOS 4.0 (N) for the OnePlus 3. Here are the changes for this build.

Flashing Instructions :
With TWRP Recovery(Make sure you are in F2Fs to avoid DM-verity Error)

1. Download the Full Zip on your phone internal memory.
2. Download the Latest SuperSU 2.79 SR1
4. Reboot To TWRP (Modified 28) & Take a Nandroid of your existing ROM
5. Go to Wipe > Advance Wipe > Select Dalvik & Cache & Swipe to Wipe
6. Install Menu > Select Rom Zip > Swipe to Flash
7. Wipe Dalvik & Cache
8. Flash SuperSU to maintain root
9. Reboot System and Enjoy

Download the zip file for your device by using above any link.
Make sure you have all necessary adb files installed on your computer.
Reboot your phone into recovery mode. To do this, shut down your device and turn it back on while holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously.
Choose “Install from USB” option in the recovery screen, tap OK to confirm. A screen with “You are in sideload mode” will be displayed.
If you are not using the original Oxygen Recovery. View instructions for TWRP Recovery to flash OxygenOS Recovery .
Connect your device to PC/Mac, run following command in command prompt / terminal
For Windows: “adb sideload <filename>”
For Mac/Linux: “./adb sideload <filename>”
Wait a while, your phone should now update to the selected build and reboot automatically to take you into OxygenOS.
Clean Flash:

Select English.
Select Wipe Data and Cache. It might take some time.
Go to recovery home.

They are still struggling with 7.0 release while others have released 7.1. There is nothing to be proud about for Oneplus.

XD now. Only 0.4% devices run android 7 itself. Even s7 hasn't got N. This is just too much what you ask.

Please keep in mind that this is beta software. These builds are sometime NOT as stable as our official OTAs generally are. By installing this update, you accept the potential risks of data loss.
If you would like to join our Open Beta Program, please refer to the flashing instructions [HERE] and download the full ROM [HERE].
Once you migrate to the Beta path, you will continue to receive Open Beta OTAs. You will NO LONGER receive the regular Official Stable OTAs.
Reverting back to the Official OTA path from the Beta path will require a full install and clean flash (FULL WIPE of all data and cache). Please carefully follow the flash instructions below.
Please be aware that all data will be wiped during the revert-back process, so do remember to backup your data in advance.
Download the roll-back build provided [HERE] to Internal storage.
Shut down your device and enter recovery mode by long pressing the Power + Volume Down key simultaneously.

Download the OOS Open Beta 1 Official | Mega mirror
Plug your phone into your computer and copy the downloaded .zip to your phone’s storage. If you’re using a Mac, you can install Android File Transfer for this operation.
After the .zip file is copied to your phone, reboot your phone into recovery mode. To do this, shut down your device and turn it back on while holding the power and volume down buttons simultaneously.
Choose "Install from internal storage/Install from local", find your .zip file and click on "Install" to confirm.
Wait a while, your phone should now update to the selected build and reboot automatically to take you into OxygenOS.

Just reboots to recovery after flashing zip + magisk using chinese twrp. What to do?

Neither am i switching to Open Beta build, Face unlock does work flawlessly then why not include it!!
Plus been using 2nd closed beta since when it was leaked.It is very stable.(I locally updated it, without dataloss)No crashes or Hiccups yet.
Its XDA guys,i hope in the coming days some dev might port it Open beta too.

Bruh... Just let it go. Official means nothing to us end users. For devs official means they would've to dedicate themselves to that one ROM, become part of the official PE site and dev group and keep it updating even if they don't really want to. I think it means responsibility. So don't keep asking 'official when!?' for a dev is dedicated enough towards one ROM will take on official too. If not they won't.

Official doesn't mean it's stable, just a tags bruh, they can update without Official

Hey there. Tested out the other PE version here on XDA, but that bootlooped after 2 weeks of usage (apparently a problem with most custom OSes). Does this fix the bootloop issue? Havoc OS recently pushed a patch that fixes said problem

I didn't mean to be rude. Just as to know why there are two threads for the same rom.
I'll be more than happy to have any roms having no bugs at all and be unofficial rather than having bugs and be official. Peace :good:

Nice! tho fingerprint hardware becomes unavailable at times, and TWRP can read the internal memory as it becomes encrypted

It's good rom. All functions work well for me! But wifi doesn't connect automatically.

It will work only if linked to a know location. Kind of trade off.

Yes you can!
1. Unlock bootloader.
2. Flash recovery over fastboot mode.
3. Download rom and copy it into sdcard (not internal memory).
4. Put your device into recovery mode.
5. Flash rom from sdcard
6. Format data (factory reset).
7. Come back fastboot mode and flash vbmeta.img
8. Reboot system.
So that's, you didn't need to root your mobile.

Yes, that's right. I think this rom is the best from custom roms.

How does user update OTA with this Custom ROM if the new version is available? Must flash again and cannot do it through the phone directly?

Thanks for your detailed guide! One last request tho where can I find a compatible vbmeta.img that I can flash to avoid recovery destroyed error.

one question: how can I upgrade to this version from the previous PE such like the 17/01/2020 version by @BabluS?

There is this double tap to wake bug in this rom. No matter how your toggle is selected to in the settings, the Tap to Wake feature is always on. This is leading to battery drain too.
Another, can the wifi fix be incorporated? The wifi will not reconnect after switching it off, even though I have activated the option of wifi scanning and set the location to on. It still wouldn't reconnect automatically. You always have to manually turn the wifi on.

my questions to those testers who have tested the current official version(PixelExperience_RMX1971-10.0-20200227-0250-OFFICIAL.zip)
1) anyone tried gcam with all 4 back cameras (including macro and wide cameras) work in this rom ?
2) which version of gcam is stable for this rom?
3) is auto call recording feature available?

So far the rom is so stable, but the ram management is bad, I barely can't open 4 apps together and they load many of the times.

Question Custom Roms

Hello,
I'm an enthusiastic new Pixel 7 user.
So far there are two Roms that can be installed via the respective website.
GrapheneOS and CalyxOS.
Does anyone have any information on when the first custom roms will appear?
LineageOS is already building, as I have noticed.

grapheneOS is available and it's better than CalyxOS.
You can create a work profile to install sandboxed Google Play Services separate from your main profile. 99% of the apps will work fine (like banking apps).

There are a few custom roms out, but they are extremely "fragile".
Will probably pop up here in a few weeks.

Installation:
Be on November firmware
reboot to recovery (when you get to the "no command" screen, briefly hold power, tap vol up to enter stock pixel recovery)
wipe data/factory reset
reboot to bootloader
fastboot update rom.zip
Bugs:
On initial boot only- the setup wizard/boot animation. As the rom boots up for the first time, the logo bounces into the bottom of the screen for a split second. This causes no issues, just looks funny for a second.
faceunlock has a slight animation that looks kinda weird, but works perfectly fine. It is not meant for the Google Face Unlock implementation.
(removing next build)
When you attempt to get into raven launcher settings, it will close for a second, then opens within it's settings. (Only does it first launch)

I havent flashed the rom yet havent had time but I did check my baseband (went into bootloader) and mine does match with the required one. Strange, I did update mine manualy via ota download from the google website via stock recovery, Dont know if thats why mine matches, and yours does not, maybe someone else can shed some light on the subject

Mine is running Corvus now. But can't get into developer settings. When invert navbar I'm unable to touch the buttons. So going back to stock and waiting for Evo or something else.

Check this out if your interested in lineage os! It's very new but surprisingly it runs pretty good on my pixel 7. It's a work in progress but for a first draft of a ROM for a phone just released a little over a month ago its amazing! I can't wait for the official version to come out but until then, this will be my daily!

THIS IS A MUST FOR ANYONE WHO TINKERS WITH ANDROID MODDING
INTRODUCTION:
Yo.
For the past six or so months, I have been trying to bring back the awesome material styled themes created by @z31s1g for the TWRP recovery. After hours and hours of porting, giving up, porting, giving up, I was finally able to complete this project and revive those awesome themes to make them work with the latest TWRP theme version 5. All 8 themes have been updated successfully. So, without any further ado, here you go peeps.
FEATURES:
Recovery gone App: Designed to mimic the look and feel of an Android app.
Customisable UI: 15 different accent colors, different clock positions (for notched device users), different navbar button layouts, etc.
*Added functionality: ability to flash image files (recovery, radio, boot), ability to change the recovery splash screen from within the recovery, Bookmark function for file lists, Aroma File Manager support, theme changer, etc.
COMPATIBILITY:
These themes are compatible with TWRP theme version 5 which means that all TWRP 3.6.x versions and the latest official 3.7.x build will support these themes.
Android 9.0 - 12.1 is supported.
Resolution is 1080x1920 (9:16) and it is automatically upscaled for other weird aspect ratios by the TWRP built-in theme engine.
*For Android 10+, I have DISABLED Aroma File Manager, Flash-It Script and Android Image Kitchen Mobile due to the lack of support from the mentioned projects. These are enabled specifically for android 9.0.
INSTALLATION OR USAGE:
Copy the theme zip file to your phone and install it like a normal TWRP zip. TWRP will automatically load the theme
OR IF THE ABOVE METHOD DOESN'T WORK, TRY THIS
Rename the theme zip of your choice to "ui.zip", create a folder named "theme" inside TWRP recovery folder in your device's internal storage, copy the ui.zip file to this folder and reboot to recovery.
BUGS & BUG REPORTS:
IF YOU USE THE FEATURE OF TWRP THAT LETS YOU CHANGE THE NAME OF THE RECOVERY FOLDER IN YOUR PHONES INTERNAL STORAGE THEN THIS THEME WILL NOT WORK FOR YOU. THE REASON FOR THIS IS TWOFOLD. FIRST, THIS FEATURE BREAKS THEMING ON ALL EXISTING TWRP VERSIONS DUE TO AN INTERNAL BUG (THIS HAS BEEN SOLVED IN TWRP UPSTREAM AND WILL BE RELEASED WITH THE NEXT OFFICIAL TWRP RELEASE AFTER 3.7.0). SECOND, I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO ADD THIS FUNCTIONALITY TO THE THEME PACK. I WILL HAVE TO ADD A METHOD TO SEARCH FOR THIS "CHANGED RECOVERY FOLDER" IN THE THEME XML FILES WHICH I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF. IF SOMEONE CAN HELP ME WITH THIS BY TRANSLATING THE NEEDED TWRP TERMINAL CODE TO XML, DO LET ME KNOW. I WILL TRY TO ADD THIS IN A FUTURE UPDATE IF POSSIBLE.
I was only able to test the android 9.0 build since I have only a single android device running this OS. So I can assure you that all the bugs I encountered have been squashed and I am pretty sure that other OS theme builds are stable.
If you do find any bugs report them with a screenshot clearly indicating the problem or if not possible, clearly explain them in words. If you cannot do this then please, don't expect any help from me.
FUTURE UPDATES:
Yup, now this is a problem for me. First, I only have a single android device which is my daily driver. Second, it took a lot of time and energy to port these themes and let me tell ya, it was a ****ing hell to be able to complete this project for someone like me who just barely knows any thing related to android theming and modding. SO, NO PROMISES FOR ANY FUTURE UPDATE BUT, YOU NEVER KNOW...
