P8-Youth (Chineese) B564 ROM EMUI4.0 CPU-GPU tweak DPI Xposed HRT_Kangvip (not mine)

Hi this rom its basically the same as P8-Youth (Cn) ROM B558 EMUI4.0 DPI-scaler, Xposed-Tweaked HRT_Kangvip (Not my work) but with the difference that its based on b564 chineese rom: (has pro camera mode and other stuff)
Build: ALE-UL00C00B564
EMUI: 4.0
ANDROID: 6.0
ANDROID security hotfix date: 01.06.2016.
Kernel: jun 29.

Now I cook custom on this ROM for EU versions

Huawei is a to modify specially if in xml code since apktool will just get stuck

I know that from build number it appears that this rom its older than the eu versions (564/565/574/575 and 581) howewer the cn numbering and releasing its different (look at release dates) and so this is true for implemented features too (for example: light painting was present on 535 cn version, and on eu from 565, and others too.)

Anyone here get an update beta Nougat for P9 ? . I'm so indecisive to upgrade Nougat ? , anyone here has upgraded please tell me some problems or bugs you have found in this version . Please as much as possible bugs , thank you !! , I need bugs :laugh: !

All beta builds in the wild are leaks, there are beta programmes rolling out worldwide for the p9 but none of these have officially started yet, but will in the next few days.
My advice will be don't worry about using the leaked beta's right now - if you really want to try N out then try to sign up to your countries official beta, there are other threads on xda about how to do that.

But basic support is normally for two-year and p9 have just one year now and 1,5 years on first release Android O.

What is that for an **** answer? The P8 dont get Android 7, cause the CPU and GPU dont support the new required Vulkan Graphics etc. In Android 8 are no new technical requirements. So the Chance is very high to get Android Oreo

At least, Huawei had released the kernel sources so we can build oreo for ourselves!

By the time we get Android 8.0 the Huawei P12 is released...

Not holding my breath.... But if they screw me on it , regardless how well they worked so far I'm not buying another... So far I only bought flagships....

This is why everyone should blast them on Facebook/Twitter/Email with "Update P9 to Oreo!" so they don't left us without update!

I found video about Huawei phones which will get Oreo update, P9 included.
Hoax warning, I didn't find any source where the user got the information. No mentions in video's description nor in blog.

I still don't even have Nougat for my EVA-L29C636 and it doesn't look to likely so I think i can forget about Oreo

I think it will get Android O.

The P9 will get android 8.0. It has been confirmed on a number of sites like gadgetraid.com. It is a relatively new phone so it makes sense for it to recieve it.

I don't believe right now that we will get the 8.0.
P9 still in 7.0 and there are phones already on 7.1.2

P9 on Nougat? Nope. Not all p9's have received the update yet...

Not even all P9 cust/regions received updates to 7.0.
Goggle has released 7.1 a year ago, bit there is still no EMUI build with 7.1, only 7.0.
IMO, P9 will never receive 8.0, I'm not even sure if we would ever receive stock 7.1

It is quite common for OEM's to skip incremental builds like 7.1 - what they do is work the security patches etc into our 7.0 builds - so this is in no way an indicator of whether or not we will see 8.0.
At the moment several websites including some very reliable ones have published a large list of Huawei devices that are apparently getting 8.0 and the P9 is on that list, as are equally as old devices like the Honor 6X.

Today I read about this, (it has a link to the beta app that some of us used in the past) and the article states that the beta project has started, It's just a matter of few of us to find out If this is true (by Installing the app and checking avail projects) and which regions are eligible to the beta project (again IF this is all true).

Thanks for the link---just tried to install the Beta app on my P9 (eva-L29C636B191) but the install failed. This could (and probably is) be due to the fact that I am not on Nougat, however. Nougat just will not work on my device. I can install B361 but Nougat will not allow me to scroll anywhere on my device.

I was looking p10 for 500€ o oneplus 5 8/128 for 550 with a 10% of discount (500€ final price) and I see that the OnePlus has better characteristics that p10 and when Huawei will say that don't want to update it anymore, you won't have any possibility but for OnePlus you have alot

Its snapdragon version.

My biggest question is because they only develop for devices with snapdragon and not also with kirin processors? are the same arm64 architecture.

This is pretty unreal to see now official support from LOS, so, I wouldn't suggest to be very excited about this. Wait, and we will see what will happen.

Yes that's the beta however LLD-L31C432 still isn't in the beta. Also update B144 is there too. Give it till next month should be able to download then.

Dam so my constant F5/Refreshing on beta app is a waste of team. Wonder why they decided to lock it down to just one build. With roll back being slightly risky there properly to much risk to even try it. Oh well we will just have to wait on a full released.

Oh man, that sucks Well, then I guess I'll just have to wait for the official version too... Any idea when that'll actually be released? Apparently it's already available in FirmwareFinder but I'm not quite willing to go that route at the moment.
