Anybody have an idea where to look for a refurbished Nexus one for under $200 or do any of you guys possibly have an extra/no longer using it for sale?
Good luck with that they still go for 290 and up. just save up alittle more cash sell few things on ebay that you dont need and you can get one. Or get a lg optimus or a hd2 they go for 200-250 and you can hack the hd2 and is a beast i sold mine i kinda regret it.

Seriously still 290^? I really just need something temporary and up to par hence why i want the nexus one. Should i go for a g1 or the old mytouch until i hop on a plan in 4-5 months?
A n1 would be nice though lol

what phone do you currently have?
I'm in the UK, but it's the same principle: I got my Nexus One for £190 from a shop selling refurbished phones. It's in poor condition (scuffs on the four corners) but other than that it's perfect! So it is possible to find them, you just need to look around a bit!
Good luck mate

Isn't that pretty close to $300?
I don't own any phone right now, my touch pro 2 broke and it wasn't on contract either.

whats wrong with the touch pro 2 maybe you can fix it alot of people sell parts for it on ebay. I still think the touch pro 2 was the best qwerty phone out there. I just look around ebay and a t-mobile Snap running windows 6.5 goes for 85.00 used and had the same specs as the touch pro 2 I think that would be a great device. I know windows mobile is old but for less than 100 bucks you get t-mobile 3g and wifi unless you wanna spend 100+ for a g1. In my opinion if you short on cash get a 20.00 flip phone and save those 200 to buy a nice phone that you really like.
Well i'd rather something better than the touch pro 2, something that i can atleast plug some headphones into lol, but i have around $160 ( and some extra for shipping), all i need is the phone itself, just asking around here to see if anyone is willing to sell one for around that price.

I just bought a second N1 with desktop dock and car dock for $344 off of Ebay two weeks ago. I don't think you'll find an N1 in good condition on there for less than $200. I would look at the various Android or N1 forums and you "may" be able to work out a deal with someone.
Good luck!
XDA is no longer worth my time.
Hi Streakers,
Does anyone know a place to buy a cheap dock or mugen 4800mah baterry? You'd think the prices of accesoiries should drop by now but on ebay it is still quite expensive, first 3 pages of Google does not get me any further as well. So if anyone sees a sale place share!
Thanks in advance.

I'm also looking for these things. The dell streak is great. But there is no reason a person can't find very lightly used or even new (overstocked) accessories. This device was worldwide, right? I'm thinking there should be all sorts of gear floating around for cheap...just above the price of what it would cost to remanufacture the parts for the Galaxy Note series.
By the way, Galaxy Note 3!!! wow!
Hello there,
I am thinking of purchasing a new Nexus 6. I just want a phone with a bigger screen and great development support that can last for around the next 4 - 5 years..
Can anyone help me in knowing the battery life and the overall experience of using a Nexus 6..
Price is 278 USD.
Would be of great help..!
Thanks,
A fellow Android user.
PS - My main reason of considering a N6 is a great community support

For $200 USD it's the best in that price range, IMHO.

Yes, for low price there is no better phone than this when it comes to development stuff.
I am getting 5 hrs screen on time using pure Nexus with Franco kernel.

That's high. Check ebay. For example:

I just bought a refurbished one used, for 200€ . As a play store refurbished unit it comes with 2 years warranty and it s like new. Here in Europe Google refurbish devices when you RMA it for some problem, and gives 2 years of warranty so now I have a brand new nexus 6. It a great it a like to have an unlimited warranty. I bought a nexus 6 from a nexus 5 only for the warranty and to have a battery that last all day. That said this phone is great in everything and I start to get addicted to the enormous screen. In hand it feels better than many other phones, it a fast , good battery, good camera, and awesome display. My only problem is the bug with 7.1.1 with loudspeaker calls, and auto volume reduction when is too high. So if you can live with an enormous screen , I can tell you buy it ,you will not regret

If it's a 64GB device and new, that's a better deal than relying on the very unreliable ebay.
Not worth, phone os is going to 64bit but this phone does not support 64bit os, also the price is high.

If you can find one for 250$ at most then go ahead, buy one. I bought the 32Gb version in 2015, black Friday on Amazon for just 200$ and I couldn't be more happier. You have lots of ROM's to choose from and the development community is awesome.
Could be a problem for the future though, since its internals may not cope well with the future versions of Android, being a 32-bit device and all.
Anyways, hope this helped.

I got mine in November for $250.00 Canadian with 2 Spigen cases. It is a great phone for the price.

I got mine for 156$ USD last summer. It was used 32gb in mint condition. Guess I got lucky with the prize. I'll have to say that I'm impressed with the community and this phone will definitely be supported by the community for a long time. Look at Nexus 4. It still has great support. Either way Nexus 6 is truly a legendary beast. The media experience is what got me. For the prize is hard to find a phone with as good community support and good for Nexus consumption. I'm sad that Google ditched dual front facing speakers on the Pixel. If I ever upgrade next year or at the end of this it would be to the 6P if the prize is right. If not I'll keep the 6 until it dies. They don't make phones like these, these days.

I can't deny it's a great phone and probably will get you through 4-5 years, but if I were making the purchase now I would just get a 6p. It is quite a bit more expensive, though. I would think it's worth it. But I can't say for certain because I don't have the device
I got mine a year ago at 250 brand new on amazon, so I would say hell no for 275. I got tired of the Nexus 6, great phone and all, but I started to feel like I bought a phone that never worked at 100% and had to tinker it all the time to be happy with it, and still there I wasn't totally happy with it.
Hell, I bought a huawei p9 last week and it's working better than my nexus 6 ever did (worse screen and speakers of course, but dont care), but it's a way better phone that just works, and it's fast, and shoots great pictures, and battery lasts.
If you NEED a developer phone, get a 6p... If you just want a good phone, check huawei and honor phones, great options for good prices!
Thank you everyone for your time..
If N6 is not an good choice now, Can anyone tell me a phone running PURE ANDROID and in the same budget i.e 278 USD ( INR - 20000) and having a great community support..

When it comes to smartphones, ebay is the worst choice. For all you know, the new device you supposedly bought was actually a repack with Factory Reset Protection triggered. On ebay there is no control and no protection from the unscrupulous. Swappa is much better, as each phone put up for sale must be approved by a member of Swappa, plus unless the phone is in the Swappa boneyard, the phone is guaranteed to work without hassle. Otherwise you send the phone back and get your money refunded.
Having used Swappa once to purchase my S4, I'll never use ebay to get a phone. If Amazon didn't have new 64GB devices at this time last year, I would have used Swappa again. Ebay never entered the discussion.

Thank for providing an insight into this. I did never thought about this happening.
Thought Ebay is a fair choice, but what about the "Ebay GUARANTEE", that it provides..!
Also, Swappa is not present in India, sadly.

Moto G4 was my initial choice.
But, seeing the cases Motorola is doing with their phones.. I feel that Moto has lost their sheen..
My dad recent wanted a phone, I choose Moto G3 Turbo, thinking that It would certainly get the Nougat update and regular security update. But, sadly, Motorola dropped the entire G3 series from the Nougat update program, even not fulfilling the 2yr update promise.
My choice for N6 was that even though both phones has will get nougat, N6 would have a nice development scene in the coming year.
Also, Moto G4 is plagued with heating issues.
Can you give me another recommendation..
It's a great phone but I'm sure you can get it for less, 278 is a ripoff even for 64gb.
