How can I change to the Nexus 6?

How can I change to the N6? I'm on T-Mobile and just bought the Note 4 1 week ago. I still have 1 more week to return it. And after that 1 week, there's still 10 more days until the Nexus 6 comes out on T-Mobile.
I could just return the Note 4 next Friday, get another phone, and return it the day the Nexus 6 comes out, but there's a $50 restock fee. So, what ideas do you guys have?
I already sold the phone I had before the Note 4.
I really like it, but TouchWiz ruins the phone for me. It slows the phone down so much it doesn't feel like a Snapdragon 805 and 3GB of RAM. With TouchWiz, less than 1GB of RAM is available WITHOUT any apps open. And I really don't want to trip Knox for when I return the phone.

Ask your store if you can have another few weeks with Note4 until you can order the Nexus6....

Or go to Craigslist and buy cheap t mobile phone and turn in note 4 and wait for nexus

This is probably what I would do. It's always good to have a backup phone anyways. At least IMO.

I got the answer. I'll return the phone on Friday and get the iPhone 5s test drive for a week until the N6 comes out.

Jumping to the Note 5

DOes anyone know if The note 5 will be able to be jumped to from the Note 4? Only asking because all I see if Jump on Demand, nothing about the original Jump program/

Yes, you can jump to it under the regular EIP.

Note 5: Through September 30, JUMP! On Demand price will be $99.99 down and $24.34 per month for 18 months. Regular EIP pricing will be $99.99 down, 23 monthly payments of $28.34, and 1 payment of $28.18. Full retail price of $779.99.
At the end of jump on demand, you have the option of paying the difference to buy it as well. They come out the same total, but if you plan to switch phones, the jump on demand might be the better option for you.
That's for the 64GB.. the 32 is a little cheaper.

You getting the note5?

I have EIP on the Note 4, and I'm not yet halfway thru my payments. I was hoping that once I got halfway thru, I could trade in my Note 4 and switch to Jump On Demand and a Note 5, but nope, it seems I would pay off the whole balance to close out my EIP plan.

You can JUMP to a cheap phone and give back the Note 4... like a recertified $199 iPhone 5c or a $50 flip phone, then pay it in full and sell it. Then go sign up for a Jump on Demand plan.

Note 7 Resale Value

I have the Note 7 and i love this phone and really want to just replace it with the new Note 7 but i'm usually don't keep phones more than 1 year or maximum 2 year, and because the bad "reputation" with the recall (i don't care about that)
i'm afraid that i will not be able to sell it.
I bought the Note 7 from T-mobile with $69 + Tax and on 24 month contract.
Do you think i just need to return it and move on, or replace it ?
Also I thought to sign for "JUMP on demand" get the Note 7 and get different phone when i'm ready for it,
do you think it's worth it ?

Just return it. I have a feeling that this phone will lose it's value heavily by Thanksgiving/Christmas.

I guess is what i'm gonna do.

It's a great opportunity to get onto Jump On Demand. I was on an alternate version of Jump and was able to switch when I returned the Note 7 and freed me up to get JOD. Just note that most stores are reluctant to offer it to you. You have to say that you talked to customer service and they said you could.

If you go the 18 months of the lease, you can purchase the device at a cheap price. Example would be the Galaxy S7 Edge for $175 at the end of the lease.

When will Tmobile block our IMEI?

I want to keep my note 7 as long as possible. I was able to undo the newest update to limit charging to 60% using odin and going back to previous rom. I have everything working even sam pay and all so it's just fine. the only thong that worries me now is if Samsung strong arms tmobile into blocking our IMEI so that it won't work on the networks. I want to know when that will happen so I can be ready to get a blue coral s7 edge since they are coming this Friday the 18th on tmobile. But if they won't block us the I will keep note 7 until s8 comes out, but I'm doubting that they will let us have them that long. next best phone will be s7 edge in coral blue.. if anyone here's anything about us getting blocked, notify us all so we can be ready and not be caught unprepared with a non working phone.

I actually contacted T-Mobile to verify if I could return my device to take advantage of the BOGO on the Galaxy S7 this past Friday. Long story short I may have shot myself in the foot as they did not realize somehow that I still had a note 7 as it was shown as returned on my account. Anyhow, I asked if they had plans to block the note 7 from the network and I was told that nothing was in place for such action. Whether that is true or is to change in the future I do not know.

I just received an email from T-Mobile, thanking me for returning my Note 7 which is kinda weird since I was reading that email from the same Note 7. lol I'm just going to keep quiet and hope this is legit.

I got the same email? weird? still have the phone and still see the monthly charge on it. anyone knows anything? do we have a free phone in our hands? :cyclops:

oh my goodness, I got my monthly bill from tmobile and it was like 80 bucks less than usual( about 180$). and I dug I to see why and i found that the deducted the 25 for the credit for returning my first note phone. also I didn't see my note 7 on the eip list. so as of now I'm not paying installments on my note 7 )) does that mean when I get a new phone I don't have to use my jump or give the phone back since its "paid off". ? hmmm I wonder what's going on. I hope this doesn't prelude the blocking IMEI on these phones... But for now, wow, I'm it paying anything for this phone on my bill!!

And i got $100 credit for the frist 2 note 7 i had. No email.
Still beong charged for the second 2 note 7 tho.
I order an s7 edge sliver for my wife which should be here in a fee days and then i will return her note.
And i have to deal with samsung on mines since tmobile dont sell black s7 edge anymore.
So once all that is done. Tmobile is suppose to be giving me $205 cash pre phone and $100 bill credit pre phone from samsung.

My last bill (about 2 weeks old) shows $25 credit for returning V1, plus 1st installment charge for V2, but later also got an e-mail thanking me for returning N7 as well. Now this could be for returning V1, or they wrote off V2, won't know until my next bill. There is no other phone I want and N8 is long way off, so I'll just wait and see, since I have N3 as a back up and if I look hard enough I probably find my old S3 as well. I'm upset at myself for updating the phone, I should have known better, with root I would just change IMEI to old S3 number and wouldn't care what they do.

How did they jack up your bill? Mines has been normal through the whole note 7 stuff.

I was paying EIP on my Note 7, but it's been paid off entirely since the first week I've had it. I'm told now it's been straightened out, but I was told that three times before.

I am being allowed to keep my note 7 since it shows as paid off. and now since blue coral s7 edge came out today, I'm gonna be getting that and using my note as a tablet.. free note 7 cause they even reimbursed me for what I have already paid for it .. sorry for all those who already returned theirs.

I agree ... but plan on putting a case on it anyway ... i know they are supposed to be selling S-Pens so hopefully wont be stuck with a yellow high lighter for too long

Anybody know why they don't have the Black, or Copper color for preorder?

That's the other issue. I don't want to have to buy an S-Pen, because I don't want to be writing with the banana in the phone. I do use cases, but I use clear slim cases, and I don't want a ridiculous blue or purple phone.

I called and the rep first told me it wasn't eligible for JOD then tells me it's $280. Have you had your account for more than 3 years?

Yes, she said she was able to give me that price bc of my long standing account. I was like it should of been bc of JOD bc that's the reason we it.

Just got off the phone with 2 reps that aren't even willing to pull up my account when I mention JOD. Both first tell that it's not eligible for JOD then tell me it's $280 what even pulling my account up. I'll just call tomorrow. Hopefully I can speak with someone who knows what's going on. Kinda surprised they are not offering the 512gb micro so card as a gift. Dont need the headphones. Also curious about color choice. I might play the wait and see game. I really like the 512gb model, and blue reminds me of both my note 7's . I will get the unlocked version tho, best thing I ever did with the note 8 was going unlocked.

Does this mean they might be shipping soon? When I ordered the s8 plus and Note 8 from them they didn't charge me until they were getting ready to send the phones out.
