What it does NOT :
- doesn't show paid apps in countries which... don't show them, use Market Enabler for that.

FAQ :
1 - An app not showing ? Check on www.androlib.com if the requested app isn't missing from the market ! (ex : ScummVM)
2 - Can't download from the market ? The patching method I used is a known process and it's 99.9% impossible that it causes problems. If downloading apps fails, it's a google-sided problem.
3 - Don't know what it does ? Look at screenshots, XXX results for a "video" search Search for "video" to see the difference (or compare before and after patching) !
4 - After flashing the market, you still can't see more apps ? You'll need to go to "Settings", from there go to Applications -> Manage Applications -> All -> find the Market app ==> Purge its datas & caches : Accept ToS again.
5 - Can't reboot / bootloops right after flashing this patch ?!??! Well, I'm not going to open an Aftersales service, but first : You did something wrong !
=> This patch only do things related to Vending.apk (market app) & its cache, nothing more ! Therefore, having a PHONE issue (like not rebooting / needing to flash a previous nandroid backup) ISN'T MY RESPONSABILITY NOR THIS PATCH'S FAULT. This being stated, I still can point out some of those WRONG BEHAVIOR and what it does :
*removing Vending.apk from G-apps* => perfectly stupid !
*not installing G-apps before flashing* => YOU NEED THEM !
*flashing this patch to a stock rom* => I never tried, but if it works, it's kewl.
6 - New v2.2.x gives you FCs ? Use the Symp.Market.Remover.zip to purge the market :
1- Put the file on your SDcard
2- Flash it under Clockwork Recovery
3- Reboot, let your rom boot (WITHOUT directly flashing a patched market)
4- once your rom booted, check market disapeared and can't be launched by any leftover shortcut.
5- Reboot under recovery and flash Symp.Color.market.vX.X.zip as normal
*another wierd problem not listed below?* => No, this isn't stupid to ask if you did everything GOOD, if no matter what you still have ****s, just post a Logcat and/or the maximum infos about what's going wrong.

Not working for me, I'm not getting as much results as you do in those screenshots.

I have only ~700 results for search term. „video“. Something is strange...
It won't show payed apps if your country doesn't support them. I'm pretty sure Serbia doesn't.
OK, but when I fake my country with Market Enabler (set to T-Mobile USA) i have 1093 results for „video“, not 3000+ like we can see in the screenshot above
Did you have to accept ToS when you run market again ? You might need to fake your fingerprint, i'll post something about that.

Be that as it may, the market in wildpuzzlerom eclair 2.1 still shows more apps than this patch applied to gapps-mdpi-20101020 when installed on CyanogenMod RC2? How's that possible? For instance I can't for the love of god find the app called "Appie". In the wildpuzzlerom market it's easy to find...
2 results for ROM Manager and 1000+ for video. Same as before I flashed this. Cyanogen mod RC2 btw.

No. There was no new ToS. That's strange, because I know there should be ToS after patching.
Best way to check if patched market works:
look for ICQ, the original ICQ app. it's not released for qvga, so if you can see it, the patched market works
No ICQ for me when i search the Market...

ok, i'm not shure if you could get it with a desire or something else in your country. but if you knew that it is there for the "big" screens, then you should see it after you flashed the patched market
there is not much difference between this and the patched market for openfire rom? I flashed the openfire one and it works fine

I just don't know =/ Both 2.1 & 2.2 market had been patched by me, and that should be the same thing, might have something to do with roms' fingerprint.

The .zip should have done this, but it didn't. You should accept ToS again when accessing the market, then it should works.

you first discription was to download the green patch fpr cyanogen users.
now u changed it into ginger and froyo..would it be a problem if a flash the gingebreat patch on my current patch?
Use this with Gingerbread - This would work with nfinityRom 0.7
Symp.Green.market.v7.2.2.zip - Gingerbread
Use this with Froyo
Symp.Green.market.v7.2.1.zip - Froyo
i know what to download.but i already flashed "something" from you before you refreshed your thread.
and my question was.can i flash it just over again or must i wipe everything and flash again?
If it is not working flash it again.. Overwrite the previous one. If its working do not flash anything.

Best.
Nice, this firmware worked.
But are you not allowed to factory reset after using this? After factory reset I can't boot anymore.

Thanks for this Surdu. Can confirm that both the Archos stock and this ROM are compatible with GPS now (I get instant locks). I am a happy man.
BTW, is the kernal you included all the G9 to overclock? I have a 4460 and am getting quadrant score of 1781 with a max and min @ 1.2 GHz (Performance Governor).
Thanks,

Hi,
last time I got touchscreentune working was with 4.0.3... and all the posts related to this app are a bit old.

I tried several configurations:

4.1.2 XXLSA Ultimate v5 + PhilZ-cwm6-XXLSA-DBT-v3.99 : FC

4.1.2 XXLSZ official + PhilZ-cwm6-XXLSZ-OXA-v4.87.6 : app doesn't crash anymore but is very laggy and changing the offset parameters doesn't have any effect

4.2.2 TeamPassion v2.3.3 + Kernel_CM10.1_20130225_n7000_CWM.zip *new mali* : app starts and doesn't lag but changing the offset parameters doesn't have any effect and I get the message: can't apply spen settings! but I couldn't find any kernel specifying it does have KALLSYMS.
Currently running stunner v2.3.3, I tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1860384&highlight=touchscreentune (I'm left-handed) but it doesn't solve my problem, I still get an offset which makes it impossible to draw.
I also tried this http://phandroid.com/2012/12/05/how-to-adjust-s-pen/ but it doesn't solve my offset problem
I tried s-pen reset app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whitedavidp.reset.spen which seems to do the same thing and doesn't solve my problem
Finally I tried this calibration test app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.livejournal.karino2.calibrationtest&feature which is a nice, simple, 5 points calibration method and it works !... but it is still under construction and I can't save changes... :crying:
So right now I'm a bit tired of trying things (anyway I don't have anymore ideas) and desperate, I initially bought my note in order to draw (that's my job) but I had to choose between draining my battery with 4.0.3 or get an actual mobile phone working.
I'd be very grateful if someone could provide me with some help.
Thanks and sorry for this long post but I wanted to show that I searched the web before posting my first message.
Hi. It worked for me on xxlsz and Philz. There is a bug though that you must change the y offset parameter for changes to take effect.

That's good to know but I switched back to my xxlsz backup, played around with the paramaters and nothing changed so far.
Could you be more specific (cause I'm not sure I have understood what you meant)?
Also, could you give some more details on the firmware+kernel you're running?
Thanks
Just to try to be more exhaustive I also found this post:
[I can't post outside links yet, so you'll have to look for "how-to-calibrate-galaxy-note-s-pen" on google]
which provides us with an interesting method to calibrate the touchscreen but unfortunately it is mentioning parameter in settings>display (gyroscope calibration, horizontal calibration) which are missing in xxlsz.
Also there is the service menu (which can be accessed by dialing *#0*# then menu s-pen test but its only purpose is to ensure that the s-pen is working and doesn't allow to calibrate anything.
