Nov. 9th Build
Bugs I've noticed so far:
1. "CM Bug Report" crashes... lol kind of funny
2. SD card is readable from file man, but not from Gallery and Music
Things I have noticed:
1. Battery life is pretty good.
2. GPS is currently working and works well.

Agreed, I was pleasantly surprised.
I've flashed it a couple times, along with last night's build, and I haven't been able to restore apps and settings from Google Play. The Tap prompt is there, it just didn't do anything once I kicked it off. I also tried just signing into my account but I was never prompted to restore.
I also noticed that Screen Search (old Now on Tap) isn't set up by default. You have to enable it in the Google Search app, then enable Settings > Buttons > Home long press action > Search assistant.
For some reason, the home long press is set to 'Recent apps switcher' by default, which is pretty redundant.
Oh, almost forgot: the initial build didn't provide any indication on the screen when the phone was charging. The notification LED changed to yellow but nothing on the battery icon or the lock screen. The Nov 11 build fixed it.

I have never had the Now on Tap function work unless i enabled it through settings. Only on CM that is.
I didn't even notice the display not showing a charging status. I just go by the light to tell me if its charging lol
The only thing I really care about is the SD card being read correctly.
This is great. How is the stability and day to day usage?
Also does it include t-mobile WiFi calling? I read somewhere that, Google pixel includes the WiFi calling for t-mobile built in.

It doesn't seem to like sdcards > 32 GB. I tried to format one as portable storage and it got formatted as FAT32. I then formatted it as adopted, which seems to work so far, but the device storage shows "-60.52 GB used of 29.12GB". This is a 128 GB that worked fine with CM 13.0.
I've tried the November 11th and November 12th nightlies and the microphone didn't work on either. Otherwise it's working great Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I noticed it wasn't responding to my voice yesterday after I flashed the Nov-12 nightly. It had been working on the Nov-09 nightly.

It keeps complaining the my 128gb sdcard is corrupted and wants to format it. When I swap over to my MXPE, the sdcard mounts just fine. I can also access it on my PC.
Currently I have my card set as portable and formatted as NTFS.
I cant get my sd card read at all from apps still even on 11/13 build. also most apps wont install for me haha. so looks like im back on 11/09 build for now.
I don't know whats going on. First attempt had "No SIM". Second, everything working. Third, No SIM again.
The first attempt was upgrading from CM13.
Second, clean install after flashing the stock KDZ. (Cant be replicated.)
The third time I cant get it to work whatsoever, another clean flash from 20p Stock KDZ.
Issue is no baseband. dont know what to do.
After more experimentation I found that SuperSU (SR3) was the issue. Confirmed
Trying later versions. SR4 doesnt resolve the issue. NO root other than CM root
Other issues:
-SD card is not useable without root access in the file manager.
-Device encryption does not work. Cant be undone without stock recovery.
-Current version of TWRP is not equipped to handle encryption, No Crypto Footer, No CSI Structure, etc.

Same for me, any one been able to gain root access for this?
CM has a built-in root. I believe it's under the Developer menu (my G4 is in the shop so I can't check it now.)
No working camera, and it broke any app that uses the camera. This is a clean install. Constant app crashing. Everything from keep (the most common) to bug reporting. Tried every nightly. The most recent nightly (12.01) sent my phone into a recovery boot loop that couldn't be fixed by doing a complete wipe and restore, or a complete wipe and clean install. So at the moment my phone is bricked and ABD/fastboot won't recognize on my computer anymore. Can't even get it recognized in odin anymore.
I know there are a lot of changes going on at CM inc, so I should have waited until a full release was available. Completely my fault for trusting nightly software from a folding company.
lgh811 running the 14.1-20161130-nightly-h811
I did the standard cyanogenmod update as you would for any nightly update and this seemed to go well.
What works with no fiddling:
phone
texting
camera
wifi
user profile switching
works after fiddling
adaway - for this I had to install root explorer and mount r/w so adaway could modify the host file. The builtin file manager would not let me browse my 32 gig memory card at all.
Whats not working
cm bug reporter
Google play services
app notifications (facebook, email)
Weather underground had to be reset and the area where Weather Underground puts its data is blank as is the lock screen notification.
Oddly enough, email works. I'm not sure, but I thought google play services had to be working for me to recieve email on the standard gapps email.
Anyone still perusing this thread, don't try to go to cm14 from cm13 via the update path on your phone. I cleanflashed my phone with the December 2nd nightly and a current version of gapps and now the only problem I have is cm bug reporter (or cm updater, I forget which). GPS is slow to respond sometimes, which is something new. But that only happened in lyft.

As a sequel to my Cyanogen Nighlies thread, I thought it appropriate to create a celebratory post linking to the stable release of 6.1.0 for the Droid Incredible.
Please reply with your experiences, inquiries, and love for one of the smoothest, rock solid ROMs available for your device. I am also open to ideas about what else to include in this OP including links to themes, juicy nuggets of relevant info, or known issues (should we find any that are repeatable).
For now, please enjoy this excellent release, and kick a few pennies up to Koush. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Download link (or just grab it from ROM Manager):
http://mirror.teamdouche.net/?device=inc&type=stable
Known issues:
-Cyanogen default auto brightness adjusts only once, so moving from light to dark results in protracted dim settings.
-While disconnected from the charger, trackball wake will intermittently fail. This is a known bug and has been filed as such.
-Flash Test does not do anything for applications that don't have a customized setting. It should still blink using the systemwide default green when a real event comes in.
Solution Sets/Workarounds:
To install the new Market and avoid FCs:
1) settings-applications-manage and delete cache for the market
2) wipe cache
3) wipe dalvik cache

"Best" is certainly a relative term, however my personal preference for both speed and battery life is invisiblek's AOSP kernel.

Incredibleks. Best Kernel ever. Seriously, for AOSP Roms, it is the choice. Seriously, overclocking on a snapdragon is pretty pointless. The speed differences are pretty much non-existent.
op link is messed up. you got an emoticon stuck in it
wow.. it took a while but nice to see it make final.. seemed like it was never gonna make it past rc status
I'm on 17 and love it but it appears that different kernels are acting differently on different phones. I was on 18 for a while an noticed that battery life wasn't as great and went back to 17, while other people said that 18 was better than 17 on their phone. Now 19 is out and if you look at the last couple of pages half the posts say that 19 is the best yet for battery and the other half is reporting ridiculous battery loss. You're probably best off getting the most recent one listed on the first post (#18).
Great ROM. I was running the nightly for literally a day only to come back at night and see a stable. This + the Gingerbread theme + Gingerbread Launcher will hold me over until the source drops for GB and we get a port
L.E.D don't work when getting text,mail,etc... other then that runs smooth. Thanx for all the hard work u guys put into these!
One question I have is this: I know how to remove the status bar widgets, but after doing so I'm stuck with that blank space normally occupied by the Verizon Wireless banner. Is there a way to put that back in there so there isn't that gap?
Odd that I want it back I know, but some things I'm just anal about.
Is there anyway to make it so that when you unlock and turn off the screen its instant instead of the fade out effect?

What's wrong with the stock kernel? Invisiblek are very solid but going to give koush's stock kernel a try.
On a side note, does anyone know if the stock kernel has smart ass governor on it?
Optical pad wake
Is anyone else having a problem with the optical pad wake only working once in a while? It always works if the phone is charging but if it isn't charging it's like a 30/70 chance of it working. It seems to work if you hold it down for like 5-10 seconds but that sucks.
Does anyone know how to make it so when I install this ROM all of my apps do not auto reinstall from the market...? My old wallpaper from an AOSP i had like 4 months ago still pops up as default also!
Even if I select "do not backup apps with google" it does not work. I have also tried formatting my SD card, and phone storage to no avail...
I want to install this, but everytime I have installed an AOSP ROM and then a theme, it goes haywire because there is some sort of backup file I can't find.

There's a bug report for this but no one has been able to fix it. I believe it's the trackpad sleeping when not on the charger.
Sometimes a long press and then a short one works.. sometimes it just works.. other times you have to hold it until the screen comes on..
My power button is broken so I live with the press and hold..

Keyboard super tiny as well! Topa100 here! A slow on Angry Birds, but ran fantastically!
Looking forward to see it running from phone memory instead of memory card!!!
Hi,
I hope, it's the same Version I'm trying actually, so here's my feedback:
TOPA100, Gingerbread Release GBX0A dated 12/02, no overclocking
1st impression: running very fast and very stable, no problems with basic functions
problems after detailed check:
1) GSM/3G signal reception is weak in comparison to FRX04 (cannot receive a 3G sig at a place where I usually have one under FRX04 or WiMo)
2) GPS not working
positive things to mention:
1) faster than FRX04
2) wakeup is working stable
3) switching on/off WiFi (have to activate it in WiMo first, of course) works stable even after 12-14 hours
4) Camera not working, but the app doesn't crash in photo mode
5) with a for me "normal" kind of usage (longer standby periods, checking SMS/MMS around every hour, receiving email every 30 minutes, some WiFi action, testing some apps, one or two calls) I have a battery duration time of somewhere between 18 and 24 hours
Conclusion for the devs: why not switching over to Gingerbread?
Cheers
Zap
Good system
Zaphod_b_1 +1
I have the same comments.
I installed FLash 10.1 . It doesn't crash the browser like in froyo. but nothing displays.
The sensor doesn't work so most games and the landscape mode won't work.

I'm pretty sure the problem is that we're running it off the SD card, so it recognizes that as the phone and then can't find another source, as there isn't one.

Hi to all
I have a N1, and I'm pretty happy with it with Darktremor A2SD that solve the memory problem...
And I use the nightly of CyanogenMod 7 08.21.2011
I have this issue and I'm pretty tired of rebook my phone everytime:
1. sometimes and I don't know why, my keyboard became crazy, if I press letter A became Q if I press Space became N and if I press Enter became Backspace and starting to delete everything I've wrote...
Then everything is crazy I can't even tap on the option menu so I can select reboot, or shoutdown....all is solved with a reboot
2. Facebook and twitter notification or even whatsapp notification are really strange...sometimes whatsapp doesent ring, facebook sometimes alert me for a new notification, and some times not, and when I open the app I have no new notification, but I've recieved a mail from facebook that I have something new on it -.-
Even if I pull down to refresh nothing happend, I've tried friend caster and it's the same thing...
Then everything works like usual, and I don't know why...
For twitter it's the same...
I thought it was DT A2SD but I'm not sure...and 192Mb of internal memory are really too too low
Of Course it's a bit annoying...
do you think that I have to use cyanogen stable or at least 7.1 RC1? or I have to use another rom?
thanks a lot in advance
1. It's called "crazy screen", not crazy keyboard. Solved with turning the phone's screen off and on with power button. No way around it whatsoever. You can read tons about it in the forum, and read FAQ, question 5.
thanks a lot, and for the notification and rom?
Facebook notifications are horrendous for working properly. If you are getting notifications for new messages, then it is most likely people using the IM client trying to message you. Facebook still hasn't figured out a good way to notify people of that.
But I am not having notification issues with any other apps, so you might want to try uninstalling those apps and reinstalling them. Also, make sure that they are stored on "internal" memory (according to the app properties, since it doesn't take into account ext partitions).
I think the latest nightlies are far more stable than 7.0.3 or 7.1 RC1. There have been a ton of bug fixes and improvements that have been added since RC1 was released.

Are you using any screen shield? If so, peel it off, it would make this issue a lot less annoying... I was using one and like 4 or 5 times a day my screen went completely crazy, I wasnt able to do anything about it, I remember rebooting the screen and neither it fixed the issue... It all got fixed when I took the ****ing shield out...
If that doesnt fix it... Get use to it, thats the only thing I REALLY HATE about my nexus...
PLEASE DO NOT POLLUTE THE DEV THREAD
Ok so we all know that all questions belong in the Q+A section right?... And bug reports, logcats and any useful additional information belongs in the Development thread... A developer needs to be able to read his/her thread to find out the real bugs and faults in the latest build without sifting through people telling us about their inability to flash a rom.. especially before they've even bothered to search the thread, forums or even Google!
Here you can talk about what ever you want to.. ask questions about anything Cyanogen related!
Another way you can help yourself and the developer is to read this quote from the Cyanogenmod team (20 Feb 2013):
"Some folks have seemingly forgotten (or were never fully aware) what nightly builds are for.
Nightlies are not released as an end product.
What does this mean? It means they are built, automatically and periodically, with no human intervention and no audience in mind whatsoever. They are not verified before being published, and their principal purpose is to compile code and see if it builds on a per device basis. Build failed? That’s a positive result. Build completed? That’s a positive result.
What’s happening is we are getting JIRA reports, tweets, messages, pm’s, emails, you name it, complaining about failed builds or ‘bugs’ on nightlies; on widespread (popular or all devices) problems, we’re downright overrun with complaints. Quite frankly, we close them, delete them or otherwise ignore them. But even those actions divert our attention and time. There is a better way.
Let’s be honest, if we didn’t want you to use nightlies, we would just stop making them public. And truth be told, you guys flashing them and keeping track of issues does have an upside, but only if it’s done in a constructive manner.
How you can help:
# If you have a bug that can be reproduced, flash the most recent M-series or stable build, reproduce it and open a JIRA ticket with a log.
# Flash a recent nightly and see if you can recreate it. Post your result as a comment to the issue created in the step above.
# Wait. We make an active effort to engage folks and assign out JIRA tickets. We don’t need updates on this for every nightly; and we don’t need “me too” comments, as long as the original ticket has all the requested information. If its not fixed in the next M-release or stable, add another comment to your issue saying so".

Finally a thread for me to ask a issue i been facing ever since i start using cm.
Is it me or its normal for current nightly version to be unable to pull down the status bar at all when in any full screen games/app? I try swiping from top no matter how i tried nothing works.
Beside this, everything else seems great, even much better battery improvement compare to stock.
Just want to check if it is anything i am missing out.

I'm pretty sure that has always been the way when playing full screen games/apps. I noticed that when watching 'TVCatchup' in full screen.
But because we have 2GB of RAM if you pause the game then press the home button, most games will stay running in the memory so that you can check notifications and even run more apps and still be able to resume back to the game.
Silly question but I'm not sure of the answer, but are we meant to have photosphere with this camera?
I have the latest nightly but my camera doesn't have the option :S

No Cyanogenmod doesn't include PHOTOSPERE... yet...
But try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746611
This modded app includes PHOTOSPERE and even the option to save to external.
Good initiative mate, can't wait to run this rom, unfortunately because of problems documented elsewhere on this forum I cannot at the moment, but I will be getting a new I9305 soon (won one in a promotion Samsung had a while back in my city!), and that will be running CM10.1!

Lost all my internal storage content
Hi guys, I recently installed the latest CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightly for my i9305;
I used the TWRP recover, did a factory reset first, cleared cache and dalvik cache, installed the rom, and suddenly all of my data has been lost but it appears as "System Data" in the app "DiskUsage" (I used this to see where my storage was being used), please see the attached screenshot.
Where would this content have possibly been moved to? I'm talking about the folders like DCIM, Downloads, etc

Sure it isn't just in the "0" folder in the sdcard folder? Also, I hate to be that guy but TWRP isn't supported by the CyanogenMod team.
Is this an external SD card? If so the problem is likely that your card was formatted as exFAT prior to installing CyanogenMod. exFAT isn't an open filesystem, and CyanogenMod are not licensed to redistribute the filesystem, so it can't read it.

It is the internal storage, and by the "0" folder do you mean /storage/emulated/0/ ? It doesn't appear to be in there either. Yea I used to use CWM Recovery but I thought I'd give TWRP a try.

Another question,
I have the iBolt Galaxy s3 car dock; a lot of the kernels I've tried don't detect the dock, the same is true for the included kernel with CM 10.1 when I flashed it. I used to use Perseus kernel with RipperROM, when I flashed it with the new CM 10.1 it wouldn't even boot, I had to go into recovery and reflash the CM 10.1 ROM over the top to get the CM kernel again; are there any known compatible kernels I can use that will have support for my car dock? Cheers, Kane.
No signal bar on status bar
Hi.
This is my first foray into ROM flashing and it was a hell of a lot simpler than I thought it would be (the horror stories on here almost put me off ).
It really is a lovely ROM. Smooth and clean.
I'm working from the 17/03/13 Nightly and the only real problems I have are
Sometimes I get Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped working on my screen and the data cuts out. Not a huge issue as I just go to quick settings, turn the data off and back on again and its back working fine.
I have lost the mobile signal bar from the status bar at the top of the screen. I've got the time, battery, Wi-fi, alarm and sound icons. Just not the carrier signal bars. I've tried rebooting the phone but its still not there. Again not a huge deal breaker as I'm still getting a signal (I can still make calls, texts, mobile data etc). I'm just not seeing the icon on my status bar.
I notice that the battery light pulse length and speed is not working. Always default to custom, only can choose the color.
Notification light is working fine though.

Yeah noticed this too. I like it flashing green whilst charging, so I can use yellow for exchange email. But can't do it when green won't flash for charging.
Also, I know it's a long shot, but I've heard mixed reports of MHL for the i9300 version. Is there any chance if it for this version? I LOVE Cyanogen Mod, but MHL/TV out is a function I use a bit.

Great work man!
Works beautifully, and it seems much faster than CM11.
I may have done something wrong though; I seem to have lost root access somehow.
Edit: Never mind, somehow a reboot fixed that.
Running great so far. Still searching how to disable the volume key flip on rotate though. Haven't found any bugs yet!

Had it running. Root was all messed up and it kept erroring when I went to Superuser menu to fix it like OP. Now when I reinstall the ROM from my SD card I get Status 7 failure. Some symlinks failed.
*disregard* gotta wipe data/factory reset to make it work. Not just manually format sys data cache. Oh well... Maybe root will work this time....

To get root access working you must go to developer options and under "Root access" select "Apps and ADB" That will make superuser functional.
Bug/Issue: 1. Settings crashes when going into Superuser and selecting settings. 2. GPS does not work. I couldn't get mapmyrun to get a gps signal.
EDIT* 3. Stock browser does not work well. When browsing a site such as google search there are black squares covering the screen. It happens as well with the google search app from playstore.
Overall, it works well
I can confirm. GPS does not work.

Looks like I jacked up superuser and GPS merging performance settings. I'll try fixing them next time.

I was about to confirm, but saw this so will look forward to the next version.
One thing I noticed when I tried enabling the swap file with Ram Manager Free (I found that giving this phone 256MB of swap file on kernels that support it makes it work MUCH better with heavy multitasking). It seemed to enable in the app, but when I checked the memory it showed only 64MB instead of 256MB. I checked and ZRAM was not enabled. Any idea where that 64MB came from?
I'm going to like this ROM once these few issues get fixed. It's a lot like the AOIP ROM I have been using for a while.
Which reminds me, one thing that is missing that I really liked was the ability to adjust the hard buttons back light. I like to have it set so it is on whenever the screen is on. Really disliked the auto turn-off after a few seconds even while the screen is still on. Would it be possible to add the settings options like AOIP and CM ROMs have?

Sweet. Because minus those two things. I'm loving the slim Roms on the exhibit. Its so fast!

4.6 has working superuser and GPS should work. Try performance control with 4.6 if 4.8 is inconveniencing.
I too am thrilled to note the appearance of yet another choice in the Exhibit ROM stable.
Very reassuring to me that this ROM presents no issues FC-ing out-of-the-box. Factory reset works, too. First time in quite a while that installation on my phone needed no extra steps.
I am trying the 4.6 version to see if that helps with GPS and the other issue.

Will you let me know if gps works for you with 4.6? I've fixed superuser fc, but uncertain if performance settings caused gps conflict.
Yes, I'll let you know ASAP.
Someone else may beat me to the punch, though; I won't get back to my wifi until Tuesday.
Currently back on Dark CM. I did however make a Nandroid of Slim.
I was so impatient to fully test Slim, I manually installed most of my apps from the Play store.
You can't restore Ti backups without having root access. I thought maybe you could restore even if you couldn't create backups, but nope.
Weird as it might sound I was interested in using my non-rooted phone for a while. It's been so long since I used a non-rooted device, I wanted to see the limitations imposed.

Tested GPS on GMaps and Map Quest and I can confirm that GPS is working in 4.6.
EDIT: My mistake, @danny8 is correct. GPS is not working in 4.6. nor is it working in 4.9. When I switched to "device only", GPS did not work at all.
One bug I did want to mention is that I am receiving fc's when trying to access SlimCenter.

I am also receiving these big black squares when using stock browser or Google Search in 4.6.
Well, I installed 4.6 test bed by dirty flashing on top of my setup of the original SlimKat release.
I cannot confirm GPS is working for me. (Deleted.) Update: Rebooted restored my voice service. Still messing with GPS which is not working
I confirm SU is working. Ti Backup allows me to restore apps.
I may play with this some more. Will update here if anything noteworthy pops. Otherwise rolling back to DarkCM.
