Custom recovery would stop ota updates from installing. Hope I m not wrong

My led notification is not working on apps from day 1 if i connect it to pc or charge it led will light up so after flashing this rom will my led be working on apps plz reply

playstore update problem
Hi Kunal,
I am currently on stock rooted bootloader locked but I have only one issue is the playstore app update. It downloads whole app when i update any app. will this your flashable file resolve my problem ? As its my dad's phone, I prefer to remain on stock rom only. please suggest.

Anyone else having issues with this latest update not installing? Downloads just fine, boots to recovery, installs like part of the update than reboots. I go to update manager again and still says the update is available. I than download the update via browser and the update is named Google play updater.

Even using the Rom's updater it only downloads and installs Google play service updater. The update is named right but the download is wrong.

So I was able to download and install the fixed update however the rom updater is still saying I need to update to what I just updated lol. Notifications keep blowing up my phone, granted I can turn the update notifications off but I like to be informed if and when updates are available.

This is the best 10 ROM so far..
Very similar to pe 10 without bugs..
Volte works, gcam works, dark theme works, every settings work well, rooted with magisk no problem..pretty smooth too..
And surprisingly the battery seems great too..
But do install it with latest orange fox 10.0.2 to decrypt data..

Please write those 2 lines here so that I don't delete anything else that would also let the flashing process fail, thanks in advance

First of all be sure that the ROM u r flashing is for ur device then
Unzip the ROM
Go to META-INF/com/google/android
Open updater-script with notepad
Delete the first two lines starting with assert and getprop and stop just before uiprint
Save the notepad and re zip ur ROM and flash

You don't have to flash the full ROM only the firmware something like 60mb .
Flash firmware then ROM or edit the updater script

ROM is snappy , Camera is very responsive.
Although , I am having issues decrypting data within recovery ( OFR ) . The pattern I had set , no longer works after flashing ROM .
I read on the Pixel Experience Thread that , Decrypting Data was a known issue for Android 10 . Does that mean it is a known issue for your ROM as well ?
How would I go about mounting and decrypting now ?

Latest orange fox has fixed encryption problem in 10 roms. V10.0.2 that is

Don't flash it.
I recommend not to flash this ROM. Because if you need to boot into recovery mode for any reason, you risk to lose all your files. OrangeFox will say "unable to mount data because it is encrypted" even though you didn't. Your password will not work.
