P8 Lite Wi-Fi not working - P8lite General

I have a Huawei P8 lite ALE-L21 and the Wi-Fi stop working. To be more precise, I see my wi-fi network but I can't connect to it. I receive a "saved, secured" messaged and if I insist I get "denied access to network". I have EMUI 4.0 , android 6.0 and version b564. Does anyone have a solution for this?

I had the same issue. Go to the service center. It should be hardware malfunction. They will most likely replace your motherboard.

Because the p8 lite fail the wifi?

Hi, I would like to know why p8 lite are failing wifi, is it remittance or do they all fail? I have been told that September 2015 is true?
Does anyone know why they fail exactly if it is a manufacturing or are they all X time? Thank you
What are you talking about? Do you have any issues with wi-fi connection?
Its a hardware issue me and some members in this forum had to sent phones to the warranty to be fixed

I never had that problem, P8 Lite, 574 ROM
Hi, I also have the 574 rom yet after installing a emui software update a couple of months ago, the wifi slider is greyed out. There's no way to connect to wifi or bluetooth. Ive unlocked and rooted it, could installing an older rom fix the issue or is this hardware related? Thanks in advance

NMO-L31 Wi-Fi terrible on EMUI build NMO-L31C432B350 ** HELP **

Hi - my wife's NMO-L31 updated a few days ago and since then the wifi performance has been ssllooww. When I inspect the connection properties, it tells me that the connection speed (between phone and router) is 6mbps. Ouch! All of the other devices on the network operate normally; also, the problem persists on other wi-fi networks. I've tried clearing the phone cache (restart phone in bootloader & wipe cache); I've deleted and re-added the wi-fi connection on the phone; I've tried modifying the channel settings on the router, etc..
Any advice? Is there a way to revert the ROM to the previous, functional version? The phone is a total dog when limited to 6mbps max. - we're on a gigabit connection
if i remember correctly honor cant read 3ghz wifi signal.... check if your router settings are on 2.4ghz. if theyre not set them to 2.4.

Thanks but I'm way ahead of you. The router is set to 2.4 GHz and the phone can connect to the wifi signal; however it is limited to 1-13Mbps. usually in the 1-3Mbps range, with lots of delay due to constant rate renegotiation with the router. Actual usability is near-zero. Other devices on the same router see consistent 130Mbps.
On the router I've tried: rebooting, changing channels, changing frequency, disabling security altogether, restricting to 2.4n only. Have also tried two other, different routers.
On the device I've tried: deleting / readding the wifi connection, disabling scanning, enabling location, resetting network settings in EMUI, clearing the cache from bootloader
Everything was working fine until the recent EMUI 5.0 upgrade.

Thanks for this advice. I have searched far and wide for a compatible ROM. I found this list and attempted NMO-L31C432B120 and NMO-L31C432B130 but both times my phone told me that the updater I was trying to use was not compatible with my current version which is NMO-L31C432B350. I assume that this means that these cannot be used to downgrade / revert? Or maybe I am just using the wrong updater, or doing the update wrong? I cannot find a NMO-L31C432B100 anywhere.
Thanks for your help.

did you extract update.app from file? you need only update.app
Yep. I extracted update.app and put in dload folder; the phone finds the update.app and validates it, then fails on install with the message to the effect "the updater you are trying to use is not compatible with your current version" which I assume means I'm trying to install a 4.x update/patch over 5.0.
Thanks so much for helping me out here.

Actually I found a recovery tool for NMO-L31 C636 model here:
http://consumer.huawei.com/np/support/products/downloads/detail/gr5-mini-np.htm?id=94461
I used this, then applied the NMO-L31C432B120 version from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-5c/help/stock-rom-nmo-l31-model-t3455519
My phone's wifi is now working normally again.
Dude you totally saved my bacon. Thanks so much for your help.
To anyone following this thread, the NMO-L31C432B350 update borks the wifi, phone is limited to max 13Mbps but actual usability far worse than that - wifi is rendered basically useless by the update. I rolled phone back to EMUI 4.x / NMO-L31C432B120 (& NMO-L31C432B130) and this resolved the problem. To doublecheck, I allowed the phone to re-update to EMUI 5.0 / NMO-L31C432B350 and this again borked wifi. If anyone from Huawei monitors these threads or search terms please look into this issue with the European GT3 !!!

Wi-fi problems

Hi guys,
I am having an issue with my p10.
There are some times where wifi despite being on it stops working, and only rebooting fixes the problem.
It happens with more than one wifi network.
If anyone has a clue to fix this please advise...
Thank you!
Hi, have you fixed the issue? I'm facing the same problem now - wifi stops working and my p10 is unable to search for any network. Before last o/s update only restart would fix the problem, now i have to turn wifi off and on again, but still...
Thanks...it works
I have the same problem.... I do not realize why but after some time my p10 disconnects from my WI FI network. I try to reconnect but I can't do it. Sometimes I received a wrong password message or just can't connect. I have tried the solution mentioned here but the problem remains. I have to reset one or twice in order to reconnect. There are other devices in the network but mine is the only with this issue. Could you please help me with your valuable suggestions?

You can try updating with Firmware Finder. More info is in the Guides Forum. B106 and 108 have been issued for C521; you can install them if they are approved for your IMEI. Or you can wait :silly:

Huawei EVA-L09 P9 No Update to Android 7 Nougat or EMUI 5 ? EMUI 4.1.1 "No Updates"

Huawei EVA-L09 P9 No Update to Android 7 Nougat or EMUI 5 ? EMUI 4.1.1 "No Updates"
I just purchased a P9 and its still on Android 6 Marsh mellow.
The current version its on is EVA-L09C432B182 ?
I just got the phone off eBay with a cracked screen with the intention of refitting a new screen and using this phone. I have done a factory reset on the phone and the phone did two updates, one was 500mb and the other around 1.8GB...
The phone is unlocked as my ID sim card works on it. Is there anything I can check to help the phone do the update to version 7 ? Do I need to sign into Google ?
Sorry I'm new to the Android platform. Thanks, Ken.
Found this info thanks to: TheRealMoses...
Finally found a method that worked! EVA-L09c432b182 -> 360
Hey guys/girls,
I have a Huawei P9 Eva-L09c432b182. Spent hours trying different methods on updating to Nougat to have the following method work.
1. Download Firmware Finder from the Android Google Play Store.
2. Set up WiFi connection with proxy (as per Firmware Finder instructions)
3. Selected the EVA-L09C432B378 Full OTA -MF-PV 71496
4. Went to "Update" in the settings,
5. Pressed back after new update package had been found and selected Download Latest Full Package.
6. Download completed, installed and optimized.
7. New Version = Android 7.0 EMUI 5.0 EVA-L09C432B378 - haven't found anything wrong / broken but will update if I find anything.
Hope this can help someone.
I then used this video to help understand the process but I am not allowed to post a video link, but the video title is "Firmware Finder tutorial (Huawei firmware update)" posted under the YouTube channel "Huawei Device" (Published on Feb 6, 2018)
Phone is now downloading EVA-L09C432B378 Full OTA -MF-PV 71496 at 2.27GB will report back the results of this. I'm in the UK and I suspect the phone although unlocked sold from EE/Three network store who are not allowing phones to update !
Update to Android 7 was a success very happy but still its annoying that these phones get stuck on older versions...
