+1
AOSP, come at a close second, is smoother/faster but lacks the customizability of and the reliable updates of CM. Same goes for nearly all other custom ROMs (besides Mokee).
Honestly, if you want a ROM as a daily driver, CM has to be it.
For now , cm 13 for our mi5 since most of the ROM's are based on it.
Cm13 as of now
Thanks guys

yep
as i know aicp it is cm (or lineage os, for now) with special qualcomm optimizations from caf and some features made by authors of aicp
im using it and it works very well
if you want you can just try cm and aicp and choose one that was faster for you
some users say that RR works really better than aicp but when i tried it was identical to cm
just flash and try

XOSP For Me
Hello, friends using the Nexus 4.
I installed recently this ROM.
But i heard that the CM will not be supported anymore but I don't know which is the best. So can you please give me some suggestions.
My preferences are the following:
stable, with all functionalities working.
updated nexus 4 rom's
hi,
for my experience have one Rom fully functional and stabil and also frequently updated :
Nitrogen Rom
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ne...-nitrogen-os-n-substratum-10-09-2016-t3459341
maybe saosp rom is good too but unfortunately saosp rom is dead from april 2017 and lineage os 14.1 is still have BSOD's.

Lineage OS is the continuation of CM, so you should just migrate to that if you like CM.

Children like to brag toys.
Nitrogen i think
I think dirty unicorns mako 7.1.1 is best rom most stable and most customizable rom there is also it is regular ly updated it is maintained by nitin chobe best n4 rom Dev in my opinion his ROMs are great any of his ROMs should work well for you just pick the rom that suits your tastes/needs
I would say latest ubuntu touch. Its easy to understand with the swipe and have the (web)apps i need while the rom has a good battery life (walking in the city with gps tracking on).
But what I can see is that Lineage 14.1 will probably be most updated like the old galaxy nexus was/is
Nitrogen is the best rom. Stable, smooth and battery friendly!

Yes, they have regular updates and cool features but from my experience they are using too much ram (a little bit under 1GB on idle) which can be annoying.
Also i want to mention that it's not that all good to jump to android N because it lacks xposed and it's not looking like it will come soon.
I recommend Resurrection Remix
Actually I have Nitrogen rom but is most drain battery withoot wifi, bluetooth and lte. Before i used Krexus (On android 6) and n4 working on battery 2x longer and more stable. I think problem is Nougat.

Try quanta kernel, the default one uses way too much battery on idle.

LOS 14.1 is stable and camera fixed but it doesn't have much customization options. But AICP has customization options and the latest build has camera fixed and worked 99% of time.
I have found, Battery backup is quite good in the latest build
Mokee rom Is the most stable ROM out there. A lot of Xiaomi phone support it. But mi 8 doesn't. Anyone can start develop a nightly builds?
Yes [emoji106] this will be fine.

The Mokee ROM is not really good & over-rated by you guys.
why is not good? since its based on LOS the touch latency is low, battery and stability and fluidity is better... i think depend from devices
A great development would be the Resurrection Remix.

I don't know about what version of RR you talking man?
I tried the last 4 versions (no custom kernel) and more than a day, I could not use the ROM.
Because they had problems !
Or it did not have the hardware key configuration!
Or, apk was broken.
Or even lock the phone!
No construction left by 8224Freak , is not good, now !
Last year, in December was a good one, but it was retired !
Yea RR was really great one year ago until it stopped been supported. I turned to Lineage 15.01 after it got oficial.
I really like that santoni is one of the most developed androids because it is a really great device if used with good and stable custom roms.
I havent used miui after buying this phone like one year now and it feels good not mess with all this bloatware
Similar to MIUI, might be little short..
DotOS
Try for miui pro. Nougat bro it's more stable
