still download link problem... any idea when it will fix or what's reason of it?

Ah, I'm not the only one! Figured there was already a thread made for this. Yea I think they messed up when uploading it, we'll have to wait for the next nightly before we can give it a test run! Happy flashing all!

The build has a problem. That's the reason of me felling my internet was fast enough to download it in one second

I've been able to build it and flash it using a TWRP 3.0.2 recovery which is a recovery for Marshmallow. I don't know what went wrong, but I get lots of crashes for Google Play Services. I suspect both the recovery and the Google Apps. The Google Apps that I have used was Open Gapps nano for Android 7.1. The recovery displayed an error abut an invalid intruction and it didn't check the written image like it used to do for Marshmallow. A related thing is the file_contexts file is now a binary one, not a text one like it used to be on Mashmallow.

We're you able to download it or had build it yourself??

I've built it. But I think it doesn't matter since they removed the link. That could mean it was a release ahead its time.

Android System Update *root* 24.6 MB........

I was hoping someone could help me out with this......
I've been getting this irritating "Android System Update" (screenshot attached) week after week.
I'm rooted (unlocked bootloader), running stock 5.1.1
This update keeps showing up and when I go to install it, the phone reboots, then it goes it TWRP. I'm assuming this hasn't installed correctly because it keeps coming back.
Does anyone know how to get rid of this or install it correctly. It's becoming quite annoying when it pops up time after time.
Thank you-
Install the update manually or block OTAs.

So I just need to find the security patch and manually install it?
Now where to find it, LOL
I'd start by reading the stickies at the top of the thread list... Good readng.
this update would probably be LMY48I, for the stagefright patch.
what is your current build number?

The link you posted is for Galaxy Nexus (not N6). It is the same page, but a different location. You need https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#shamu
@IINexusII is likely correct that the update you received is LMY48I. So you should be able to flash that

Thank you all very much for your help.
I'll try to patch one of these updates this weekend when I have some time off.
I'm the gatekeeper for all that is Android OS in my family. Myself, my Mom and now my Dad all have Nexus 6' and I've rooted us all. So I install it on my phone first and then the same with theirs.
I was so happy I found a fix for the MLB At Bat app and their stupid blackout rules.
This is just great, been having the same issue and versions
This covered everything I had at the moment!
I applied the update tonight, sick of those damn OTA prompts.
This is where I got mine from, but still not sure if I chose the right one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/fxz-nexus-6-recovery-flashable-fastboot-t3066052
Installed the download from:
LVY48F (5.1.1 Project Fi bugfix update 20150910)
It says Project Fi only, but I have no idea what that is. I didn't see an option for LVY48I, so I went with LVY48F.
Did I do this right?
Want to make sure I didn't screw up my phone.
I tried installing the OEM ROM from here, but it failed while trying to flash it via TWRP recovery:
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#shamu
"5.1.1 (LMY48I)"
Anyone?

SD, I am trying to install TWRP as per the video. For some reason, my files look different then your and I am running Win 10. Any advice? Thanks much.
PS: When I get to the command prompt,, mine just opens up to my system, not the ADB folder....
EDIT: Ok, got it to go, don't know how, but it worked. Anyone else notice the device runs a little sluggish after this? Thanks!
hey since this is running lollipop amazon os. cany you guys make a costom rom like the hdx developers do that can be booted without unlocking the bootloader. they use safestrap which is like twrp but for locked bootloaders and install custom roms. they arnt fully custom they have amazon aspects that let it boot with the locked bootloader but it is almost fully custom the hdx has a nexus rom and a cm11 rom they made for it.

Not as easily as it they were installed.
Use a root file manager, to delete or rename or move.
Use titanium backup pro or similar app, to freeze google apps
you freeze all google apps, and see if performance improved, them unfreeze google apps one at a time to see which ones are causing issues.

How to update R1 to the latest OTA Update?

Hey All,
I'm looking for some help nito update this device to the latest OTA update. I have installed TWRP 3.0.2.0 that came with the dirtycow method. The device found the latest updated released in the past few days but when going to install it, it brings up the TWRP (which is how it should install). Now I don't mind if I can't grab this latest version due to whatever reason, but how would I go about updating the device? Currently it's running the stock version 6.1 6/17/2016.
Sorry if this has been answered somewhere, but still kinda new with Android devices and the whole rooting process. I'd like to be able to keep TWRP if at all possible and keep this device updated. Also I saw there was a updated TWRP released, how would I go about updating the recovery?
Thanks a lot for the help anyone can give!

Already tried it and it doesn't work. She uses the phone to play Pokemon Go and sadly the modified version you've made gives the error that the device or software is not supported. I believe this is due to the method you are using to remove the ads and custom changes made to the ROM, which I don't personally care if the phone has them or not. I'm wanting to install OTA updates without any heavy modifications made, just the ability to keep TWRP but have an updated phone.

I want to say thank you a lot, this worked wonderfully! Only issue is Google Plus doesn't work (not a huge deal for the wife) but everything else is working great!
One last question, what is the recommended TWRP to use with this phone, I currently have the 3.0.2.0 Vampire version installed.

I have seen it mentioned that Google + does not work on 8.3 in general not just this modified one.
That recovery is the one I use and has advantage over the other one (lopestom's versio) in that in recovery you can use external sdcard and also mtp connection.

[SM-T395] Found TWRP for Tab Active 2 - is it legit?

Hey guys,
I found what claims to be an unofficial TWRP for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 SM-T395. The source, however, seems rather fishy to me, and the fact that there's no talk at all about it on here more wary. Since the device I'd like to install TWRP on isn't my own, I'm not going to experiment with sources that I don't know. But maybe someone on here´is ready give it a spin, including installation and testing?

Which was referenced here: https://www.androidinfotech.com/2018/05/root-samsung-galaxy-tab-active-2-sm-t395-nougat.html
The last one is what I found during my Google research for methods of rooting the device.
Here's hoping that this is the real deal.
Going to try later today. Seems legit, but who knows.
Hope this works. I've been trying to build TWRP myself but with no success yet.

EDIT: tried installing using Odin v3.12. Success on installation.
Took off battery after flashing. Entered directly to recovery mode. Got a "installing system update" screen, then a "No command" screen with a broken Android and got back to Android stock recovery.

You don't need trwp to install magisk. You can use magisk manager to patch the stock boot image, then adb push to install the patch boot image to your device. There are plenty of tutorials on how to do this here on XDA.

Soon after making my original post I downloaded the stock rom from the Asus support page the same place I got the bootloader unlock app from.
After flashing I got brave or stupid and found a site that had a TWRP for the zc600kl so i said what the hell and installed the TWRP idk if I can link it here but I'm sure they'll get rid of it if it isn't.
https://mega.nz/#!OuJHnaJR!aUTwAtRcEukqOi6XMh-FKsYcM22gHEzC35YajMkSOns
It turned out to be TWRP 3.2.3.0 and works perfectly. only issue I had was during the Magisk installation, twrp couldn't mount anything. turns out it was showing my internal storage as 0 but it was an extremely easy fix! all I had to do was just change the phones storage file system from it's original to another then immediately back to the original file system (can't remember specifics) within the twrp advanced menu I think, but it worked just fine and my internal storage read the correct size. Found fix on YouTube easily.
I installed magisk flawlessly then installed xposed seamless now have the best of both and everything is working great phone is stable no issues at all I'm very pleased,
Safety net check fails but IDC I don't need it.
Ridiculously easy root I love this phone ?? oh and now I have iOS 11 Emojis lol
Hope this helps all you Zenfone 5Q zc600kl owners out there.
If anyone wishes to know anything else PM me I'll try to help.

I just finished attempting to flash this recovery using my X017DA and I'm getting the file size too large error as well.
There are NUMEROUS people stating that they've rooted this phone and I'd SURE as hell love to know how.
I unlocked the bootloader at this point for nothing, and it's rather irritating.
It's bad enough I have spotty service on this phone because apparently, it doesn't support band 12 (which is crap) and ASUS refuses to cert it for VOLTE
I love the cameras, and functionality of this phone, and for the price the specs are GREAT, but this WILL be the last and only ASUS phone I'll purchase. Hell, I might even ban their computer components from my home after this fiasco.
Question!
Did you use the official Asus unlock app?

I just finished attempting to flash this recovery using my X017DA and I'm getting the file size too large error as well.
