About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Cyanogenmod. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!
Features:
(I will mention only that which does not take into CyanogenMod)
Listview animation
Interpolation anmação listview
Update over the air can download the download website only incremental, it helps lower faster update and upgrade more easily:
Some icons and own layouts
Manager for Google services, so no need to use a large gapps, you can only download necessary at MokeeCenter
Ringtones, Alarms, Notification, UI sounds are all different CyanogenMod, thus bringing a beautiful charm to rom
bootianimation own
information integrated into MokeeCenter
Settings to add speed data network
Settings for navigation bar
Settings for Statusbar
Intelligent control settings to configure the newer apps and others.
What is the difference?
RELEASE: Tested after integrating new features, more stable than NIGHTLY. (Odexed builds)
NIGHTLY: Built daily with newest code and experimental features, might contain undiscovered bugs. (Deodexded builds)
HISTORY: Final odexded builds once a newer Android version is out and being built.
EXPERIMENTAL: Released when a new device is added or when a new feature is added for public beta testing and feedback. (Deodexded builds)
UNOFFICIAL: Maintained separately by individual developers, usually involves modification of shared code which cannot be merged (affects other devices), therefore maintained by the developer himself.
Note: We always test the shared code for bugs, however sometimes we may not be able to detect device specific bugs. If you have such issues, it will be better to report to the device maintainer.

Look at the date of entry. Mokee Center remained only in MoKee 6.0.1.
Use simply OpenGapps.
Release 7.1.2
MK71.2-mako-180405-RELEASE.zip is released.
So far, this is the first version of "RELEASE" (not "NIGHTLY") from android 7.1.2 for Nexus 4.
Does this ROM suffer from the WiFi disconnect issue that seems to plague nougat ROMs? Thank you.
Update:
Yes, it does suffer from the WiFi disconnect problem. Not the worst I've seen, but still annoying. Oh, well.
MoKee - Android 8.1
From 2018-05-01, MK81.0 nightly is released.

If it´s CM based, why don´t use CM keyboard instead of Google´s one?

Not only updating almost every day, but seems stable and most importantly - performance is very good!
Is there any bug? i'm wondering if this is a good option for daily use.

It is good for daily use, no bugs. But after day or so my phone was really slow, I don`t know why. Otherwise good ROM!
downloaded and using it for today. no bugs whatsoever. also seems faster than the last ROM I was trying, so I'm thinking about keeping it for a while.
later will post any review if necessary.
New nightly is up!!
Those who suffering from battery drain issue please follow this steps.
Setting-display&lights-disable prevent accidental wake up.
I'm using Mokee in my moto G 2014, in my moto G 4G beeto's rom is my choice, but I can definitively recommend it, has a little details, but it's really nice and as said, is updated practically daily.
Best greetings

Minor improvment!!

Welcome and nice to see you here !
I nearly jumped and punched the air when I saw 'S7 Edge' listed on the Mokee downloads page. Mokee was the only AOSP ROM that continued development for my Redmi 1S, so have remained faithful to them. They were up with their experimental build and then a nightly within a day of Samsung releasing the kernel sources for Nougat. Have been checking back daily to see if they finally upload a 'release' build. Thanks a ton! Can't wait to get clean, stock Android on my S7 Edge; hate the childish, bloated style designs of TouchWiz. Great work!
Thanks for this ROM! I had Mokee way back in my LG Optimus G days! Now it's finally in S7 edge! Really great!
---------- Post added at 14:23 ---------- Previous post was at 14:22 ----------
So I want to test it, just want to know what's working and what's not. Anyone here tested the ROM?
Guys please test and report.
Thank you!!

The nightly build of 02/03 hit 112 downloads! Hoping for people who flashed it to report their experience, and hopefully once the bugs (if any, that are reported) get fixed we'll see a release build. *fingers crossed*
I assume this has the same issues as all cm based? Wifi hot spot and camera? Thanks for the efforts

@[email protected] why don't you post a list of known issues from the latest nightly build, the OP of all ROM threads here have one section for that.
Also, any stipulated timeframe for moving from nightly to release? Closing in on a month since the first nightly was published.
Thanks in advance.
A 110MB reduction in the ROM file size, that's huge.
the changelog is not the 5.1 but 7.1
http://changelog.mokeedev.com/index.php?mk_version=MK71
Forum moderators, the OP's status is 'account disabled'. Any info on who will manage this thread?
FYKI the ROM download page is now publishing 7.1.2 nightlies.
Most stable build so far...
The original thread still says 7.1; meanwhile, the builds have long since moved to 7.1.2.
Despite still being 'nightlies', they're stable enough to be daily drivers AND you get the vanilla Android experience.
I've not been flashing the latest nightly on a daily basis; I've been following a practice of
keep an older build until there's a serious issue.
when there's a serious issue (it's mostly been either the phone overheating, or rapid battery drain), download the build that's gotten the most downloads, and
do a dirty flash. You're good as new.
There's been no word in a while from the dev(s) that is/are maintaining this ROM, on when we can expect the build to move to 'stable', even if that's going to happen at all.
For now, I've been on the October 24th nightly [MK71.2-HERO2LTE-201710240911-NIGHTLY], and that seems to be the most stable build that I've run so far. No bugs I can think of, just the occasional app FC.
Battery saver mode works well, with root and Greenify I've been able to squeeze out 1.5 days with 25% battery left.
there are news x oreo 8.1? thanks
How's the battery on this ROM?

About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP.

That's because Gapps are included in the package. OTAs are available for updating from previously installed nightly versions.

EDIT: The mokee 6 its very very good. Once problem is a crash in clash royale after many minutes playing. Anyone have this problem?
I'm on the history version with hexaturbo kernel. I haven't faced any issues, very stable rom thanks to its developers.
Mokee 7 very good too.....no WIFI drop problem, good battery backup, no bugs at now.
I have installed magisk on mokee nightly, if I update the rom will I lose magisk or it remains?

This kernel work well in the mokee 6? What the advantages to the stock kernel? What you change in kernel configuration? Thanks.

Yes, Works Very well in 6.0 rom. Advantages you have more performance as vou clock is higher, and more things are able to configure in kernel Like hotplug and etcetera. You wont be able to play pokémon tho, It doesnt pass safetynet. You should try It yourself If you want more performance.
If i want to download incremental updates, I have to download and install all zips or only the latest?
Hy.
Anyone using Mokee 6 history version? How are the battery backup?
