I need help!!!! - SuperSU

Ok so I am new to this whole root thing. After several attempts i finally got my Samsung Galaxy S5 rooted with Odin. I'm using TWRP, along with Supersu, rom tools pro. I am overall happy but the problem I am having is i cannot seem to change my boot animation. I managed to delete the stock T-Mobile animation but nothing will load up. I followed all instructions to the letter and still no luck. The phone is running 6.0.1 marshmallow. Do i need to downgrade to 5.0 or lower? Please point me in the right direction thank you in advance.

A custom boot animation needs a special file: system/media/bootanimation.zip.

All you have to do is revert to an older version of clockworkmod, I used version 6.0.12 I believe.
the file name is: CWM6012-CM9-recovery so it might be that. Yep that's it, now i can finally rest

The title says it all.
I tried to install a custom rom on my Galaxy s plus and I figured i'd need cwm, so I got the latest, installed it through the default recovery.
And now it keeps booting into the recovery and I can't get the stock back.
So I still tried to install a custom rom, though it keeps booting into cwm.
Can anyone give me a hand with this? I will need my phone today, so I would really appreciate any help I can get.
I own a One X, though it is at the repairs and now I messed up my only usable phone

Boot Loader Stuck in a Loop

I was in the process of returning the phone back to stock from rooted ICS. Now it won't boot to the system it just keeps booting to CWM. I now have TWRP. Same scenario. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
How would I flash the phone with the AT&T stock ROM? Similar to flashing a bootloader...
mine is also stuck in a boot loop. when i go to exit out of twrp, it says no OS installed. i've used the all in one to try re-installing ICS bootloader and ICS Twrp, then push a rom to the sd card, then flash rom, but still says no OS... what do i do next??(sorry if im thread jacking, but i figured my problem might be similar to yours)

Search on these forums for the thrill resurrection guide. That's what I did and it worked. The downside is it took 2 whole evening to accomplish it. Some user learning curve the other is most of the file everything tells you to download have been removed from the servers since the phone is bit outdated.

Let me know what you can't find and I'll do my best to back track and see if I can find everything again.

[Q] Stuck at "Samsung Galaxy Note 3" Logo?

Hello,
I have a Note 3 (AT&T) and it is simply stuck at the Galaxy Note 3 logo. Running (or should I say ran) rooted 4.4.2 and no matter how long I wait it will not give me the option to boot into SS 3.72 or continue on to the OS. I can boot into stock recovery and download modes, but nothing else. Not sure what is wrong but am currently stuck with an expensive paperweight. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Update: Fixed it myself. Posted this when I was unsure if http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=51572014 would work, but tried and it worked perfectly.

Good to hear and thanks for posting the fix. Some people post that they fixed something but don't tell others how.

[Q] Can you help me get my Recovery Menu back and possibly Stock FW

Okay so to start I followed this Tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/general/how-to-root-g900aucu2aoa1-4-4-4-2-3-2015-t3021120 all the way through and my phone was rooted and I was happy. One day I tried to install TWRP since this is what I used on my Galaxy s3 before this phone. It got stuck on on a boot loop. I eventually tried flashing every stock ROM which did not fix the problem because ODIN would fail when trying to flash. Eventually I tried flashing the "G900A_ND3_Stock_Kernel" supplied in the tutorial. My phone magically booted up and all my APPS and stuff was the same as I left it and it was still rooted. I decided not to mess with it anymore. This happened about a month ago.
Today, my phone had a notification saying that there was an update and I tapped remind me later. Eventually, I installed Titanium Back up to force closed the AT&T Software Update app the phone came with. Then. it automatically updated and eventually got stuck into the boot loop again. No problem, I fixed this before. What I noticed from the first time was that I had a screen that said "Secure Fail: Recovery. System software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone. Please turn off your phone and go to the nearest AT&T store for help" Once I flashed the stock kernel from the tutorial I never checked to see if the recover menu was there.
So right now I have my phone working and its rooted. I installed the "Phone Info" app and it says Bootloader Version:G900AUCU2ANG3. Eventually, my phone will try to update itself again and it will fail causing it to boot loop. I am not sure on what to do. Is there a way for me to have my recovery menu back? I just want to have the option in the future to revert everything back to normal in case I sell it or feel like having the newest OS. Also it would be cool to have a recovery menu on my phone again.
I know this was long but I needed to solve this problem before it gets out of hand in the future. Also I am pretty sure others have followed the tutorial and might have had the idea to update the OS or something else and had a problem similar to mine.
Thank You Very Much.

So you're still rooted?
And if so using titanium backup just freeze the ATT update app I forget what it's called exactly but you'll know it when you see it and that'll stop your device from trying to automatically trying to update

Yeah I'm still rooted and I found out about the freeze app option but do you know about the problem where I don't even have a recovery menu?

You need to download the safe strap recovery menu. That is for rooted phones with locked bootloaders.

Thank You very much I was able to install the Safe strap Recovery and am now backing it up. Hopefully my last question Is there a way to update in the future for example if I wanted to have the OTA firmwares from AT&T without root in case I were to sell the phone?
Thank you guys for the answers.

I've tried this in the past when my phone was stuck in bootloop, But it always failed since I have a different baseband or boatloader. Would you know which stock ROM I have to use because I tried many and had no luck in the past?

G900A Softbrick... Hoping not Hard Brick.

Hey there guys.... Really hoping someone out there may be able to help me out.
So... I recently moved up to Lollipop... Managed to keep root.. Running Alliance ROM 8.. Smoothe as butter.
I decided to check out flashing some of my old mods via the NCE Flasher / Safestrap method... was working great.
Then I flashed something it didn't agree with... Rom would'nt boot. This leaves me stuck in a functioning Safestrap Recovery using the NG3 Kernal.
Have tried flashing several roms in safestrap ... no go...
So here's where I'm at. I have flashed the stock recovery via Odin... It flashes fine, the reboot starts... get the splash screen,,,, boot image starts to go into motion.... then freezes.. screen goes black... little blue light stays lit... The end.
This is the short short version.. If you need any more info just let me know.
Hope I'm just missing something.
Thanks much in advance for any information.

Thanks man... Had to just step away for a moment... Now that my brain has thawed a little, I wonder if I'm actually left with the OC4 Lollipop kernel?.. Hell... I don't know.. Thanks again man. I'll give that a look.
