How does it compares with a LG G5? - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

Im planing to move to O+3T.
Im concerned about loudspeaker performance and sunlight readability.

Coming from the HTC m7 I can tell that in terms of quality it's equivalent, it's also a bit louder but it's coming from the bottom and you can easily block the sound... But in general it's decent.
Regarding luminosity, it's very good compared to what people say, no issues at all, better than my m7.
Best regards

No. It's perfect on every ics rom

Ics is almost perfect for galaxy s

the camera is actually really good, but as you said no flash so pictures look horrible taken in low light. you might also miss the rugged body of defy compared to galaxy s cheap plastic feel. but software wise i think galaxy s is probably much better than defy
Camera is great in normal light. For me super slow in poor light and no flash. In good light photos are awesome and taken instantly in low light photos poor and i often miss the phot as people have moved on before the photo is take (significant delay between pressing the button and actual photo being taken.) Other than that the phone is great.
Take the Galaxy! I had Motorola and sold it to buy my Galaxy S and I'm very happy with it!
My friend has the Defy and when I compare it with my Galaxy S, my Galaxy S is lot smoother, has better battery life and it even has amazing ROMs. I'd say, go get your Galaxy S today!

If you got to ask man. Galaxy S is definitely the better of the two.

[Q] Poor focus on camera?

Hey,
I'm just curious, is this normal quality for HTC One pictures?
It seems like my camera can't focus properly (especially in broad daylight), which is sometimes very annoying.
Do I need to trick with settings?
When I see pictures from when I first bought the One, it does seem like it took better pictures, but there has always been this "unsharpiness".
It looks like every other picture which I've seen in here, tests and such takes better pictures than mine
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance
This happens to my HTC one as well, did you fix it ??

That might be a little difficult since this is the Xperia Z, and Moto X user Don't come around here I guess. But I would give Moto the fact that is basically vanilla android, hence there would be more upgrades. The Xperia Z I'm pretty sure the update would stop at KK 4.4.2 A friend have the MotoX and it seems nice, the display I like it more on the Xperia, make sense since we have more ppi. hte camera I fell is more or les the same, the Xperia suffers on low light. That's about it I can tell.

I enjoy this kind of comments, since you said kind of things I wanted to ear/see of, I know moto X user won't be sneaking by, but maybe some users here have had the chance to manipulate both phones.

Moto x screen is better than xperia z screen. viewing angles are not that good in xperia z. It fades when you tilt the phone. Moto x has cool gestures and active display. In low lighting, moto x camera does a decent job compared to z. But in looks department, z looks more premium. Battery life are one and the same. Z is an year old phone and won't get fast updates. 4.4.2 may be the last update. And moto x is current flagship phone and it is more likely to get future updates.

thanks @anagramgenius regardless Xperia z carry a 1080p display TFT technology is so much outdated till today where we can find IPS technology with crisp and sharper images and colors and awesome viewing angles, I've read and many forums around and tells moto X got a unlimited battery [emoji1], and there's a huge change and great performance because it's customized CPU, what do you think?

yeah. thanks to that 1.7ghz dual core processor and other processors for touchless controls. the 1.5ghz quad core processor in z is old one compared to that. Battery on moto x is ok. Nothing spectacular. Heard that after kitkat update, battery life is not so good.

[Q] Mic Test (Loud Environment) (Solved with video inside)

Does anyone knows how the Turbo performs in really loud environments when recording?, or if someone can make any test regarding this?.
I had the Nexus 4 and it was a really bad performance, and then changed to the Nexus 5 that was a small improve over the Nexus 4, but I would like to know if the Turbo performs better in clubs or concerts.
Thanks
:fingers-crossed:
Update Nov 26
Like no one answered before, I decided to record myself and put it here so everybody can see the quality of audio and video of this phone in loud environments. It's not so loud like a club or concert, but still music could be heard from my house to the street and the other houses around mine.
What level of loudness are you talking about? Traffic, busy streets? I don't have the habit of using the voice activated functions while walking on the streets, but I do live in a noisy neighborhood and so far the phone has been working well. I've used voice commands I traffic with good results too.

I'm not talking about the voice commands, I'm talking about recording video in a club, concert or really loud environments.

Thanks, but still is not a loud environment, I'm looking something like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYbM591FGLc
Maybe put it near a medium/big sound system at max volume would do the trick, I want to see how it works with concerts and really loud environments.
Thanks again.

Would be really nice to know how good it is at concerts, anyway, I will be patiently waiting.
Thanks

Loud sound video is highly saturated

Hi guys,
I'm very happy with the video made with my op3t but one thing still bother me :
I'm nightclubs for instance, the sound is really bad, highly saturated when my moto x2 was handling it very well.
I'm going to festival this summer and I'll be very happy if I can find a solution not to have my videos only made of saturated sound.
Is there any app/mod/rom/kernel tweak to avoid this or is it closely related to hardware?
