Hi everyone,
I was woundering if there is any third party lockscreen that works on 5C.
Why I'm woundering is because I'm so tiered of not be able to have widgets
on lockscreen, like Dashclock and so on.
So, I's there any third party lockscreen that works out there ?
Best regards

You should be able to. Just download one and change your default one to the new one in settings, apps, advanced settings...
I am sure you must have tried that...
I can't change lockscreen under apps - advanced - default app settings
so there is my first problem. And when I have tried WidgetLocker, I either get two lockscreens, or it doesen't work at all.

There is no safe way to do it without a custom ROM.

press menu on homescreen and there will be an option for pics, or you can goto gallery and change the wallpaper after selecting an image.

that changes all the wallpapers at once. I was wondering if you can change the wallpaper on only the lockscreen and the default one will be on home

Unfortunatly you are running a CM based rom so there is no way to change your lockscreen wallpaper. Because there really isnt one. It dims your homescreen when locked and thats it. If you want a lockscreen wallpaper you will need to switch to a rom that allows it.
okay guys. thanks for your help

Hey Guys,
Looking for some new lockscreens. Would really like the froyo 2.2 lockscreen from the droid x or D2. I like the looks of those slider bars.
Does anyone know if this is available or ones like it?
I dont know if its possible to replace the actual system lockscreens ... I know that WidgetLocker has those Motorola Froyo Lockscreen Setups, but well, its a external solution, the internal Lockscreen will not be replaced at all ...
one is called Lockbot

batmania15: since the latest lockscreen gestures update (in CM 0.04-10.11.29) I'm not using the unlock bars at all. You should check it out...

I tried the lockscreen gestures but didnt like them. I had one set for S and one set for B and everytime I drew the B it launched the one for S.
The default sensitivity was set too low, you could simply fix it for you by setting it to 3 or higher.
In 0.04-10.11.29, the default is now 3.

i think widget locker is a perfect choice
i m using it since i got the phone
While Widget Locker is a nice feature to have I think the Milestone just can't handle it. 256mb and if you throw a few widgets on it or a few widgets in your Launcher Pro/ADw, your home screen will redraw 24/7. I noticed like a 2x redraw rate with WidgetLocker. It's nice, but our phones can't handle it.
Need 512mb ram damnit.
sorry to hi-jack, but aren't you the Batmania15 from the MOTO Milestone support forums?
Any word on official FroYo?
i have another sort of question about lockscreen.
is there a way to have a picture on lockscreen different to the background picture?
You can set an alternative wallpaper i widget locker for the lock screen

Nadlabak,
The gesture lockscreen is great! Thanks for this.
Is it possible to use your gestures lock instead of standard Android visible pattern functionality? I mean to secure lock screen via gesture only. I ask because if you turn it on, then you can use gesture OR standard swipe unlock (so it's not securing the phone).
Thanks in advance for any sugestions!
Yes, you can turn off standard unlock slider option in the cyanogen settings.

Where is it located at? And can it be changed? Running GSB 1.6
I thought the lockscreen was transparent and whatever you set as your wallpaper was your lockscreen

What I want was to have one wallpaper for the lockscreen and different after unlocking.

Maybe they'll eventually add that in to CM7's settings. Right now AFAIK the only way to do this is through third-party apps like WidgetLocker, which I use (Look & Feel/Alternative Wallpaper & Select Wallpaper). It's a pay app, but you can try it trial. I love being able to have any normal widget on my home screen.

I don't see a trial version. Do you get to use it for a while before it either stops working or you pay for it?

Well, it was many months ago when I bought it so I might have been wrong about the trial. That sucks.
Actually, wallpapers don't seem to be working, at least with Widget Locker on GSB at the moment. Sorry for the misinformation. I'm going to let the author know; I talked to him about an issue a long time ago.

Hi!
Is there a way i can change the standard stock lockscreen without installing an app?
Maybe with a theme...I don't know!
I'm on Django 0.7 with TWLauncher.
Thanks
without external app you have two choices
1. lg stock lock screen (swipe up to unlock)
2. aosp lockscreen (swipe left to right) has bug if u press the menu button it will unlock as well
to switch between them edit build.prop file and change the line user.feature.lock_andy=false will give u option 2 ; =true will go back to default.
the file is located under /system

Does it make a lot of ram-consumption?

While I like widgetlocker (and purchased it) I ended up not using it because it takes anywhere between 20-50MB RAM (depending on how many widgets you want to use) from an already small amount of RAM we have.
Without installing an app, you have a third lockscreen: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1314666

What about "Go Locker"? I was thinking of moving to "Go Launcher" so............is "Go Locker" less heavy on ram than "WidgetLocker"?
I use GoLauncher and GoLocker... very stable and smoother... today I play to personalise lockscreen and theme for home and app drawer in ICS Style... prrfect... I spend 1.5€ for to small apps to change this with GoLauncher... 3D efect are more and very smooth... and you can alway decided to revert to default launcher.

May I know if there are any lockscreen tweaks for kitkat? Like allowing custom apps to be widgets in the lockscreen. Btw, I can't drink the camera shortcut in the lockscreen anymore, is it supposed to be like that or is there a problem?
I'm on ihackers 4.1
Thanks.

The camera icon appears when you place the phone in horizontal position.
Can't find it. Even in horizontal mode
