Microphone Issues - Input signal replacement with Mixer_paths - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey Everyone!
Few months ago, my phone screen broke. I took it to Moto Services and, after the fix, I noticed that the microphone used in videos recordings was broken. While I can't really fix the phone, I'm thinking about using a working microphone in videos recordings (and others functions) to replace the broken. I want to know what I have to change in the Mixer_Paths.xml file to replace the signal of the broken mic.
Thanks for the help

[Q] Mic randomly not working

Hi,
I've had a Nexus One since June and I had to replace the digitizer some months ago. Since then I'm having a problem. Sometimes the microphone doesn't work. It happens only during a call. I mean, i can be talking for hours and the mic will work perfectly but when starting a new call it might or might not work.
The microphone itself works perfeclty when recording videos or giving voice orders so I don't know why this happens and It's really frustrating I don't wanna throw away the phone
Do you have any idea how to solve this?

[Q] Boroken mic solution

Hi to all. Unfortunately the main mic of my nexus one is broke. But I discovered that the camera mic works. I was wondering if there is a way to set camera mic as main mic.
Yhank you
Happend to me couple times that mic stoped working and after like 4 reboots it came back again. I've already started to google for how-to replace but it came to life by it self, hopefully you will be lucky enought too.

Speakerphone Not Working Echo

Hey guys,
Bit of a strange problem, recently my speakerphone has stopped working. Whenever I place a call on speakerphone the other party can hear their own voice echo and this becomes progressively worse over a couple of seconds till neither parties can hear each-other and its just a loud fuzz.....everything else on the phone is working perfectly! It's never been dropped or anything...its still in immaculate condition! I am running the latest firmware (UK) and it's started happening randomly....any ideas on how to fix?:crying:

I got the exact same problem and no solution so far. I've tried various rom versions (4.4.x - 5.0.2 and CyanogenMod Nightly), but it didn't help, so I'm afraid it's a hardware thing.
I don't know if you also experienced that, but if I let noise cancellation (in setting) enabled my calling partner also does hear an echo and my voice is much quieter, without using the speakerphone.
In my case it's possible that I damaged the phone my self, since I had to replace my whole case and the lcd, after falling damage.
I would appreciate it if someone could tell me which part exactly is causing this problem.
I had to change thel unit also due to the touchscreen bering cracked.
Speakerphone, or 'audio output', is not working. Although I might have had this problem before. I can't remember.
I read on another forum that the bottom speaker only comes on when on speakerphone.
So I'm thinking maybe damaged it while repairing the replacement lcd unit.
I hope this is not the case. I have yet to do a factory reset. Just need a bit a spear time to do it.
I have this problem too.
I broke my screen and i replaced it with a new screen(including LCD) by myself, and after that the speakerphone stopped working. It's so strange because microphones and Speakers work ( i have tested it in *#*#7378423#*#*).
Mah!
My replacement lcd came within a new case without the back panel. All I had to do was place the motherboard in the new case.
The new case had a bottom loud speaker already in it. I have, last week, opened the phone up again and replaced it with the original speaker. Unfortunately, still cant get the speakerphone to work.
I will try an reset one day , once i make a note of my apps and back updata.
Has anyone tried a reset yet?

Is my microphone broken.

Hi, since i upgraded to 7.1.1, my microphone does not work. Initially i thought it was a software bug but flashing old stock image does not help. My phone also fell down during this period. So i think my microphone is broken. The other party cannot hear me over calls on speakerphone either. The strange part is, there is no sound/video recording voice too. I was sure there were 3 microphone on this phone.
Anyhow, to the point, can i replace the microphone by normal soldering and use any other phone's spare part? Don't want to spend big on 1.5 + year old phone.
PS : with headphones i can talk normally.
Have the same problem here .. with n solution till now.

What is with my mic?

So my mic doesn't work. Phone plays back statics while on phone, but when I export the videos, it becomes dead quiet.
History: The phone previously suffered in MAC Address: 20.00.000.0.0..0.0 thing, so wifi wouldn't work. In result I swapped the mobo with an ebay Nexus 6 with a broken screen.
Wondering if this is common? any way to fix it? The situation persists on both Stock rom and Lineage OS

EDIT: With this mod, fixes my video recording (stock camera app). I am wondering if anyone knows change everything to ADC1 and ADC4? (phone call / voice detection/ all apps)and neglect ADC3? Seems like my main mic in the speaker grill is fried!
