New (Unofficial) adreno drivers for android 7.1

Qualcomm has just released a developer preview of their proprietary adreno drivers for nexus devices (https://developer.qualcomm.com/download/adrenosdk/user-mode-driver-binaries-adreno.zip), unfortunately no changelog has been posted and n4 is not oficially supported.
You must flash the n7 version of these to work, but in case you don't want to register to download or etc. etc. i'll post the flashable zip here (i just renamed it to prevent confusion)
As the qcom site says: This release is intended only for developers, and does not meet our customer release quality. So use at your own risk.
Android lollipop is dead and latest preview is for Marsmallow only!!!

Well, unfortunately nexus 7 support also is ended. Here is an zip package for android N with libraries pulled from msm8974 devices (provided by CyanogenMod). Use at your own risk.

New drivers will be good for CyanogenMod 12.1 ?

I don't know if anyone has been trying these drivers, but it appears that Google Maps will crash when using it. I did pull a logcat, if anyone needs it.

Can you run Antutu benchmark with it now? As in completing it instead of crashing?

Have you tried the maps apk pulled from a n7 rom? i believe they have a different dpi.

Working good on 6.0 ?

Flashed on top of Frank and all is butter.

Im using it with Cataclysm (Oct 17 2015) and Hellscore kernel b84-M. I wiped Cache and Dalvik Cache after install and then rebooted. Is all good, thanks

- What benefits I would have flashing it?
- Can I install without any "wipe"?
- Just need to have a 6.0 ROM or also need a Custom Kernel?

-Benefits would be optimizations. I don't know what exactly but maybe someone else could shed some light on it.
-I just flashed it in twrp no wipe needed.
-Any marshmallow kernel is fine as far as I know.

Bugs/Fixies:
- Having fingerprint set as active will make the app unusable and you have to wait until it will unistall itself, so if you don't mind about secure lockscreen you will be fine

We tried but discovered that if use fingerprint secure, it buggs and s5 reboots. ... and good lock Will uninstall itself!

How to install this app Good Lock?

You need to download it for example from the apkmirror (link in first post), then copy the .apk file to your phone and then install. Choose the 24.0.6 version. Remember to check install from unknown sources in settings.

Samsung released it to public in some regions today, anyone got hold of the apk to see if it is newer than 24.0.6?

According to screenshots posted on news.samsung.com there are some changes in compare to 24.0.6 especially in quick settings.
Edit. There is 24.0.7 version on apk mirror.

Go to good lock in app drawer, click routines and then edit default or create a new one.

Nova Launcher Beta, it's got Android N design elements in it already ...

Didnt work in my g900m :/

Do you guys have these bugs I have noticed:
-When you restart your phone, restart is very low and good lock uninstalls and phone will restart again.
-When you edit created routine, good lock uninstalls.
-I dont know if this is bug but today screen started to go on when you swipe your hand above sensor (I have not changed any settings).

No, I don't have those bugs. GL uninstalled only once, the first time because FP lock screen was on. After enabling pattern everything works flawless. I have routines for good morning, home, work, training, evening and good night. Love how settings and colors are changing due to location and time automatically. With aviate, next, cover... It never works completely accurate.
Screen works fine too. Are you sure that GL is the problem. Witch FW are you on? Did you tried FR?

Cant install cuz min api is 28(android 9)....So better just upgrade to pie....

It won't work on Oreo anyway. There are way more files involved than just the camera apk

We got the us verizon june update and the night mode isn't in the camera. I used the file browser on the phone and it can't see the system files o
in the internal storage. Is there some trick to replacing the stock app? (I'm wondering if it was only deployed to euro, because I haven't seen anyone in the states get it yet.)

There is no night mode per se, it's integrated in the scene optimizer https://www.samsung.com/au/support/mobile-devices/galaxy-s10-super-night-shot/
Nevermind it's actually a mode, The galaxy project rom has it.

I also didn't have "dark_theme" in my xml, so I added the whole line. Still there was no change. But I saw in WhatsApp settings there was a new option to change theme. That works

Yes it is enough to add the line and theme option will show. Maybe it is possible to do it this with Facebook, question which file has to be edited.

Same as others: I don't have the beta, and the line in the xml was not present. Adding the entire line in Step 2 in OP gave me the option in the app to switch to dark mode.

My setting always resets to light after i close the app in task Manager. Anyone got the same problem?

Hmm, same. When I force stop the app, or if I swipe up from recents to kill, it goes back to the Light theme.

Thanks, but the beta program is full. But you don't need the beta to enable the dark mode toggle, it works in the regular version.

Hi all: I see the OnePlus camera version 4.0.213 on the apk mirror. But I also see discussion from people who have tried loading it on the OnePlus 7 and it doesn't work. Just a caution to anyone looking to install it.

I installed on my oneplus 7 pro ,and now camera crashes

I see there is another apk, com.oneplus.camera.pictureprocessing 4.0.76 . I wonder if this is required?
Edit: someone on the Oneplus forum tried the apk above and it still didn't work. This camera apk probably needs the OnePlus 8 hardware to work. The one downside to the OP7P, camera has always been a bit of a disappointment.

After you go into app info tap on storage and cache. In that new window you will see the 3 dots on the top right corner. Tap the 3 dots and select uninstall updates.

Of course it does not work for me too. On my 7 pro when i open camera i got a black screen, but with system buttons Back, Home, Recents. So i can exit & uninstall.
On apkmirror, Camera 4.0.213, if you click on File :
Min: Android 9.0 (Pie, API 28)
Target: Android 9.0 (Pie, API 28)
If you click on Notes :

From OnePlus 8 Pro. May not work on older devices.
For uninstall go to Setings > Apps & notifications > See all > Camera. Click on 3 dots and touch Unistall updates.
