What ROM are you use now? The new battery maybe damaged.
May be Short circuited Board

May be your Phone's board have been short circuited which causes draining out your battery charge.....
Either You get your BOARD serviced or try to replace the board.
Haa even I had the same issue

I'm having major battery issues with my X1.
it's always auto shut down all of the sudden although my battery was 70%
Then when I turn my phone back on.. it became low battery (less than or just 10%)
Is this related to my battery? or the phone itself?
Heard a friend having the same problema with a HTC after installing a new ROM.
Maybe it's soft related.
that problem WILL persist even if I changed so many roms? I just don't understand why.. Need to fix this ASAP.. it annoys me by running out of battery everytime =.="
I suggest you flash back your stock rom to exclude a software issue. If the problem persists I would say you have got a defective battery.
I suggest it's the battery. Had similar problem with aftermarket battery off eBay. Used it for 2 weeks, then it suddenly shut off and no sign of life whatsoever from my X, got the charger plugged in - nothing, no side lights, no startup. Flicked another battery in to make sure my X is functioning. Then got the battery that caused problem back in to see what's happening. Well, it was at 35%, started charging again and behaved like nothing happened.

yeah that's what happened to my phone..
Ahh... Guess I really need to change my battery already.. Thanks for the info. Helped a lot..
My Note suddenly alternates between discharging and charging state even though it is not connected to a charger. As a result it can never go into a deep sleep and in the battery history it only shows the history for a few second. I try to reflash the rom and try different roms. However the problem still exists. Any solution for this problem? Thanks.
just usb shorting!!
I had the same problem in Feb .... initially i thought wow!! Wireless charging but then noticed the considerable drain of battery.
Its just usb shorting within .. due to some water logging or maybe you pressed ur note too hard .. just get the usb/chargig slot changed at the service center..
Samsung knows abt the issue because of extremely tight tolerances its quite common.
Don't worry
Try cleaning out the micro usb charging on the note, as dirt can cause charging problems.
John.
the cleaning is something i had tried ..... but i believe it just temporarily solves the problem
if the problem has started and you still have your warranty get it replaced .... just 20 mins work at the service center
Hello,
I've been passing for a strange issue with my GNote's battery. After I updated to ICS , I don't know if it is the reason of the problem, my battery doesn't complete the charge.
I tryed to charge to 100% with the phone turned off but immediately after it turned on the battery's indicator down to 50%. With the phone turned on, the battery seems that's not charging. Either with the phone turned on or off the process of charging is taking tooo long to complete.
Any help would be great.
Thanks!
This may not be ROM or kernel problem. may the battery become defective or hardware problem.

I will try to replace the battery with a new one and see what happens.
Just this afternoon my phone started behaving abnormally, when I plugged it in to charge it showed Charging (AC). I kept as it is without data connection or wifi for a hour and found that though the phone is charging (even with indications on battery icon( the actual battery percentage was decreasing (From 20% to 15%). Is this kernel problem as I have King's Kernel?? Flashing stock kernel will fix it???

You had problem with data connection before? Or it was someone else?
Two things come to my mind:
1. USB connector on your phone - go to service center to fix it.
2. Battery is faulty.

If you are out of warranty then I think it will cost. Do you have data connection when you connect it to PC? If yes, then maybe battery is broken.
May not be a bettery problem

It also may be your kernel or your rom problem
Because i too used to face the same problem but after flashing to some different rom the problem seemed to be solved
you can also test your battery by different apps available
Hit the THANKS button if this helps you
When I was sami os i was also facing the same problem, people suggested me to change my battery but i changed the rom and kernel and it worked so firstly
1) I would prefer you to change your rom and kernel
If this also doesnt work then I would prefer you to change your battery!!

Hey guys! My MI9 is dead since yesterday. On the morning it started randomly rebooting. This issues occured more frequently throughout the day and eventually I was not able to turn my phone on. I opened it and disconnected some parts, connected them again etc. After some time, I was able to turn it on. It turned itself off after few minutes though. About an hour later (8.00 PM) I was able to reboot it again and placed it on a wireless charger. For 4 hours it was working with no shutdowns. About midnight, I took it off the charger. After few minutes it died and I was not able to turn it off again since then. It is hard bricked Can a hard brick be caused by battery malfunction?.
I am wondering what is the likely cause of this situation. The issue was evolving in a weird way. Do you think that it could be caused by a battery malfunction? I had this idea after finding out that the phone was working quite normally while connected to the charger.
Now the phone is not working at all, whether connected to the charger or not, no matter if the battery is connected or disconnected to the motherboard.
So, do you think that this hard brick could be caused by a faulty battery, or is it just broken motherboard?
i have the same problem my friend.. and i dont know if the problem is battery or motherboard!
