I tried installing TWRP but now my LG G3 isn't able to boot into recovery. Is there any way to "reset" the recovery to the stock one? It's the international model (d855) and is running 5.0

You shouldn't have attempted to take the OTA while rooted and/or not on a stock recovery. I'd suggest to downgrade your phone to stock JB and let it take the OTA again.

I bought a rooted HTC One M7 on ebay, it had Teamwin Recovery installed. I want to install OTA updates before installing Revolution ROM & followed advice here:
sakitechonline how-to-get-ota-updates-on-a-rooted-htc-one-m8
I installed this stock recovery which should be compatible:
"stock recovery 1.54.401.10 recovery.img"
but when I tried to boot into recovery it stuck on this message:
"Entering Recovery..."
so I re-installed Teamwin, where can I find a compatible stock recovery & how can it be verified?

Here is a Collection of Stock Recovery. You might want to follow this guide http://llabtoofer.com/2014/02/24/how-to-manually-install-ota-updates/ it is for the M7. You will want to find the stock recovery for your OS, you can find the OS version on the bootloader screen.
Thanks for the quick reply, I successfully flashed this:
stock recovery 1.54.401.10 recovery.img
& booted into the system, there was no option to check for updates. I tried to boot into the recovery from Goomanager but the phone did a factory re-set, so I'm back to square one. The recovery img specified Android 4.4.2/Sense 6.0 my phone is Android 4.4.2/Sense 5.5. is this an issue, do I have to re-lock boot-loader before flashing?
What is supposed to happen when you boot into stock recovery?

Guys please i own an infinix hot 2 x510 with the Android One Stock OS i wanted to know is there any way i can install a custom recovery without having to unlock the bootloader because all the tutorials i have seen so far for installing a custom recovery for andriod one the devices that were listed my device wasnt part plus my device has no stock recovery and theres no option to access fast boot mode also with my device how will i be able to check if the bootloader is locked or unlocked since there is no fast boot mode any help will be highly appreciated thanks
I have the same problem. What country is your location?
I haven't tried rooting yet with Kingroot and heard it doesn't work on 5.1.1. Even if it does, I haven't found any way to install a custom recovery.
This is a new phone, so hopefully in the next few weeks someone will figure out how to root it and install a custom recovery.
Am from Ghana originally my infinix hot 2 came with android 5.0 it wasn't the andriod one stock 5.1 OS even the stock OS it came with can be found here at xda infinix hot 2 forums. That rom had a recovery and fastboot mode but that recovery it had was so basic no option to flash zip or other functions that twrp, philz or cwm gives also that rom is available at the official infinix site along with the andriod one stock OS. I wasn't impressed with the OS on my phone so I flashed the andriod one version but to my surprise it has no recovery and no fastboot mode I tried the keys for entering into the recovery but it shows a black screen with no command written I tried flashing a micromax android one cwm recovery using flashify and nandriod manager both reported that the recovery installed sucessfully but when I reboot into recovery I get a no command message I tried easy philz and twrp installer same result both reported the recovery installed sucessfully but when you reboot into recovery still no command error even if I flash the non andriod one the one with the stock recovery it doesn't show no command when you reboot but it still displays the stock recovery. I have managed to root mine sucessfully with kingroot app it worked both the andriod one stock os and the other stock 5.0 OS which can be found here.
Kingroot worked on 5.1.1 the andriod one rom for infinix hot 2 is 5.1.1 the other stock lollipop rom is 5.0 and kingroot worked for both
Hello everyone. I have rooted the G4 LS991 (SPRINT), have SuperSU, and was going about installing TWRP because I want marshmallow, android 6.0 version. I used flashify and the TWRP . Flashify seemed to install image correctly, but upon rebooting into recovery, I got a "Secure Boot Error 1003" and then a reboot to normal operation. . what can I do now?, can I do factory reset with that error ?
model: lg g4 ls991 zv6
thanks!
You can't install TWRP on any US variant phone so that's why you are getting that error. There is no flashable recovery or custom roms for this phone. Stay on ZV6 if you want to keep root. I'm pretty sure you can restore the recovery partition to stock and it will fix your issue.

You have to restore factory image. I hope you backed it up with flashify.
Sorry but wow
