With Marshmellow it appears WiFi power saving mode is enabled which limits the performance when the screen is off.
To disable follow the instructions below or use my App to toggle it and help me out in the process
Open a Terminal session.
su
echo '0' > /data/.psm.info
chmod 664 /data/.psm.info
Or you can use my app to toggle the setting.

Power Saver Off - Sees a fast response every other ping.
It's a very interesting find, although I am perplexed about why it could be useful.

For me personally I had an app which downloaded a website every few minutes. The pages were very slow to download when power saver was enabled.

Dear!
I would like to make a profile that when "Sports tracker" is running that Wifi is OFF, screen brightness is max etc.
I know how to make it - but only when sports tracker is in foreground (opened). But when I "minimize it" and use another program, it starts exit task - Wifi ON, brightness auto etc.
I would like that exit task would be started when process "sports tracker" is ended.
I hope you understand and can help me
Thank you!
Miha

Many Samsung devices have WiFi power saving mode enabled by default which affects performance / response when the screen is off.
This app should disable it. I'm looking for testers on different Samsung devices Android 4.x - 6.x.
If you want a free code for this, please reply and let me know what device , Android version you have.

So I connect my K20Pro to Huawei Watch GT and my work environment requires me to switch to airplane mode often. And when switching to airplane mode, the phone also switches off bluetooth and disconnect the smartwatch. I have to manually turn back on bluetooth and reconnect the watch which bugs me. So I found a way to keep bluetooth on while switching to airplane mode by editing the adb shell settings following one of xda developer's guide for android phones in general. But I keep getting the message like in the screenshot. Anyone can input the solutions for me. Thanks.

Miui keeps bugging me with this notification once every several days.
I'm perfecly fine with my battery usage and don't want to turn on any additional optimizations (I've pretty much left those settings as-is).
How can I disable this notificaton?
"Battery drain notifiacitons" setting is disabled already.
Long-tap on it doens't allow to disable it.
Settings > Notifications > Security > Notification Categories > Battery - isn't disableable.

Hello there - I own a P30 Pro (VOG-L29) which is on Build 12.0.0.134
If I go to Settings>Apps>Apps>and click on any app, I get the App info screen for that particular app.
I can then access all options for that App such as notifications, permissions. etc.
However when I click on "Power usage details", it doesn't open up anything.

If I try to open the "Battery Optimisation" by searching it in my Phone settings, I can't see any apps listed.
I am trying to change "power setting" for a specific app so that it can always run the background. But I am not able to do it because of the above.
Can someone help me understand why can't I access the power usage details? Or is there another way for me to allow a specific app to always run in the background.
Look forward to your responses.
Best,
JT
