Hello Developers & Visitors
I still remember when I've came across android automation, and how I did not understand it at that time. I first stumbled upon "Automate it " app but I uninstalled it right after and took me some months before I came back again and installed macro-droid and looked for some tutorials and overview on the web and youtube then I tried Tasker and I found it not that easy to grasp so I searched for other alternatives online and I came across a comment in which a guy recommended a new alternative for tasker, and that's where the change has began. I went right to play store and got it. its "Automagic premium " (you can get a trial from their website )
Why I like this app
-- My motives to use an automation app is to theft-proof my phone by using proximity sensor and I could not achieve it using either automateit nor tasker nor macrodroid but I did it with this app
- Its simple yet powerfull
- very user friendly, it uses flows and diagrams to setup tasks
Screenshots of my 2 flows to prevent my phone from being stolen

Why resurrect a 2-year old dead thread?

Now being a member of the XDA forum for several Months and reading thousands of threads, I have seen a wide variety of signatures and avatars.
I look at mine as my alter identity as a Pocket PC Geek (as my wife would call it). My signature just has the basic ppc status and the apps I use. My current avatar would reflect that as well. I’ve come across some signatures that are a half page long and say nothing and some with a few words that tell it all and a whole lot of interesting avatars.
So how much do they reflect who you are? Tell us your story…
my avatar - HAL - is the king of all computers of course...
and signature...aeeehm....yes, i'm addicted to Guinness also...
Something to keep in mind about signatures, is that they can be searched on. So, if someone puts Tom Tom in their sig, a search for "Tom Tom" will turn up every post that person made, and not just posts related to TT.
In other words, it can dilute the power of the forum search tool.
Try searching for "U.S.A. - AT&T Wireless" (without the quotes) and you'll see what I mean. That's in mchapman007's sig.

Hi,
I developed a brand new app called "Zero to Hero".
The app let's you explore your yet unplayed music, those of your songs that you haven't yet ever played on your phone.
The key point: It's developed entirely using TouchDevelop, Microsoft's on device programming environment. Means it is developed right on Windows Phone itself.

Love this app, Best to discover the forgotten songs. We have it reviewed at wpxbox.com and also have couple of suggestions.
First is wrapping up of names of song which becomes messy when its too long. Second, once I play a song, does it get off the list ? I don't see that happening until I refresh

Thank you very much for the review,
regarding the issues, I'll look into them for the next update though I'm not sure whether it's exactly possible to fix all of them due to limitations of the TouchDevelop programing enviroment.

One of my favourite apps is Tasker which allows me to automate parts of my phone. For instance, I get in the car, it turns on GPS, Bluetooth and it starts up my SatNav software. You can find it here.
From the day I had the app, the one glaring problem with it was the UI. It's stuck back in Gingerbread times and a lot has changed since then.
I recently saw a shared post on Google+ from Roman Nurik which showed various mockups of Android apps with a new UI. This made me realise Tasker seriously needs an update and I know exactly how it should look using the Holo design whilst retaining the original layout.
So here it is, my Tasker redesign. I'll be honest, I pictured what this looked like in my head, so I sat down, opened Photoshop and 40 minutes later I had designed something I thought worked great. It's the very first design so could probably do with some community input and refining. Let me know your thoughts.
Original post was from my Google+ Page, however figured I would share it with you here as well as I appreciate not everyone is on Google+

would be awesome! tasker is the best android app ever, but it looks like crap. well, the focus of the app is clearly getting stuff done, but a little bit for the eye wouldnt hurt
Having a quick, portable voice transcription system would be a great help at work.
I work in the medical field and frequently need to transcribe medical terms like drug names and procedures (e.g. Xarelto and pancreaticoduodenectomy).
The "online" google assistant recognizes almost all the terms I use with no difficulty. I worry that the "built-in" recorder / transcription app may not have as robust a vocabulary. Anyone use the new recorder app and have success with obscure words? Any way to add uncommon words?

Hi
I have been trying to stop this icon from showing on my watch 5. I dont use an android phone so dont have it synced up all the time, hence why it is showing as disconected. Is there a way for example of removing the icon from the system files so that it doesnt display any more?
Thanks, any help really appreciated

Maybe by disabling the appropriate notification on the phone.
Hey, it's reddit... don't kill the messenger
Maybe try Goodluck Quickstar, but I don't think that will get it. Worth a shot though.
Hi, thanks for the response, unfortunately this only works on tizen watches not wearos ones
Funny, your Screenshot looks exact like here:
