The manufacturer says yes, roughly in the middle of the specs page (or at least I read "NFC enabled" as a yes )
I can confirm it does have NFC. Have it turned on tight now.
There is a label at the back telling u the nfc is behind the back camera

No, unfortunately. Unless you turn it off.

Use xposed to switch off, maybe there is a plug in for that

You can remove the icon from the dropdown menu by customising it. You don't need Xposed for that.
Here it says.

How? I would love to get rid of the icon but couldn't find a way to do it.

I think possible this is the reason, sigh.... KIRIN.
i think Huawei has the superior "portrait" mode so no need for this!
Why would one wanna use pixel's portrait mode instead of Huawei's?

I think it's more for Google's HDR+ processing.
For me it kind of works. But only front facing camera.
But I think it's because the camera is for Nougat.
Hi guys, how to get stereo+ always enabled (in landscape and portrait modes)
Thank you
Only works in landscape.

Hold on, let me just magically pull a working apk out of my belly button that somehow nobody has posted in the thread everyone uses for this.
Excuse the lint, and the prickly sarcasm. Seriously, why start a new thread?

Which is? Because honestly, the search interface on xda is not yielding results in a way that says "this is the thread everyone uses".
Hello! So, as the title reads, I'm kind of surprised that a developing OS like MIUI is missing this tiny, but important feature. I really liked the convenience of replying to important messages from the lockscreen itself, but my K20 Pro doesn't allow that.
Does anyone know of any possible way to enable this? Or is it just like that in MIUI?
Bump! Anyone know anything about this?
I haven't tried it, but have you given all the notification related permission, and tweaked lockscreen notification setting to show all content in settings and tried yet?

Yep! All done! Even put it on autostart, and off of battery optimization. These two factors have nothing to do with any of it, but I've switched on, virtually, every option and permission available.

Hmm! Are you on an EU rom? Or Indian (Raphaelin)? Quick replies work by default on my other phones, but not this one!

There is indeed! For example, I got to know that the Indian version is missing the NFC feature, but the EU rom has it. But if you're using the Indian rom, how is it that you're able use quick reply from the lockscreen itself?![emoji848]
