SGS3 Addon-It ported from SGS3 JB firmware, Working all good.
These files are from madphone(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1669190),
and Great work by froilson(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1847692); So all credit goes to them..!

- Launcher Update(LH7): small Samsung Bug Fixes, fixed Wallpaper again, like original S3 (better performance)
- added S Voice And Samsung TTS (not all features due to missing S3 Apps; still buggy, but this is samsung )
- DicePlayer as Video Player and Pop Up Play Replacement. Buy the Donate Version if you like it!
- merged with hdpi addon by smalldookie, should work on hdpi devices too now

Removed most of media files and system apps; NS cannot flash because of less RAM.(Find widgets and launchers from second post.)

I presume permission: wr-r-r, and just move the app to /system/app,
adb push [location of the file] system/app and ur good to go

Very very beatiful , fine and smooth if you install this zip(twics-cm9-nightly-addon 1.3) in recovery and you have paranoid or cm9 nightly installed on nexus ..
I love it , thanks for all... most of the apps works fine and great!

Try 'signedMemo.apk' from GNex zip file.
I didn't tried zip files for NS because I'm too lazy to flash cm9..

terrible bugs : when you gaming with a game like LINE RUNNER , the nexus s has some reboots or it closes the game news : it crashes, closes the game and has some reboot when you gaming and you have open the wifi

IMO, SGS3 apps are heavy for nexus s.
How about deleting system apps which u don't use?(just be careful..)

Dude the zip file you mentioned in the OP does not work. I check it and the framework is not built for NS devices.
I dont know how you got them to work on your devices. If you dont mind please share the way you did. Cause i just flashed it thru CWM but nothing happened.

Jesus! Unzip/extract the files and install the apks to /system/app MANUALLY, dont flash it thru CWM or TWRP cos it won't work

Official CM7 Wallpapers

Hello forum!
I need help about CM7 Official build, because it does not have any live wallpapers. Not just live wallpaper picker I'm searching for stock android live wallpaper. Sorry if the thread already was open but I didn't find any working stock LWP. Found some zip file and live wallpaper picker is working but the stock live wallpapers crash.

me too face the same problem. I am using the CM& official nightly... its very fast and smooth but live wallpapers not there.. I found some zip which has to be flashed like rom. Did that and i can see live wallpaper picker but when i select the live wallpaper it force closes..
Any suggestions please!!!

maybe you can try to pick livewallpaperpicker.apk from another custom rom that based on CM too and push it manually to your system then reboot

I will going to try this one hope that it'll work. just flashed the latest cm7 nightly release and found out that lwp is not on the rom, thanks. :cyclops:

Touchwiz 5.0 launcher JB

here is touchwiz 5.0 launcher from s3..
instructions:
for launcher only use launcher zip file. put the 2 apk's system/app and lib file to system/lib directories with rw-r-r permissions. then reboot.
for accuweather widget download 3 apk's and the zip file in the attachment. put apk's to system/app. open zip and put the files to system/etc/permissions and system/framework. set all permissions rw-r-r and then reboot.
update:
- homescreen 4*4 (before 4*5)
- accuweather widget is now 4*2 (before 4*3)
- folder preview better now
- accuweather background pictures scaled
- accuweather city details scaled (before min.temp and buttons were under screen)
- re-added dock icon labels

accuweather main apk may fc when u search for city it is a known situation. but finds your current location well. and in city details it needs to be resized some buttons and weather min.degree is under screen. if u use paranoid set weather main dpi to 105..

Lol of course it will never! You need the API level of JB for this. And there is no JB for Mini Plus yet...

at first...when you add the widget just let it finds your current location (don't tap anything)..when it already got your location, then you can add other location by edit and search on the widget...it works for me...

u don't need s3 launcher to be installed. it works with apex and nova, too. just copy accuweather_widget_files.zip in the first post of s3 launcher.and then install the link as a normal apk.

I was searching for the updated touchwiz launcher and I found one thread here

Google desktop search removal

Short of a different launcher how can I remove the search field near the top of the desktop?

Are you on GNL or Launcher3 (AOSP)?

Root, install Xposed and use Xposed GEL settings mod?

Yeah people refer to both Google's launcher and the AOSP launcher as stock, so didn't know what you were talking about exactly. Assuming you mean Google then, only way to do it is to do what the other guy said.

Basically. Google doesn't want to make it easy to un-Google their own launcher,.

Anyone have any info on how the xposed mod achieves the same result? (how to do this manually without xposed)
All I know so far is to decompile the app (using apktool or apk multitool etc), look through the smali files for something that looks promising (using Notepad++ or similar), find a thread that can point you towards the proper smali edits to make, recompile the apk then push it to device.
I think there could be something in /system/priv-app/Velvet/Velvet.apk/smali/com/android/Launcher3/launcher.smali but I'm not sure what I'm looking for yet..

I am interested as well. If it is only changing a file using Notepad++, I would try it.

What I did was goto sys/priv-app and remove velvet. Install nova prime then reinstall google app as a user app. Remove google launcher too. This will remove that awful search bar in the recent apps menu. Also removed that flicker when you swipe away apps in that menu. I also tested this method from a pure stock state. Removed google launcher , install nova. Then cut velvet from sys/priv-app to the SD card somewhere. Reboot. Wipe cache. Once reboot I moved velvet folder back to priv-app. Reboot, and worked the same.

This is a "port" of the Pixel Launcher from the P developer preview. It hardly has any changes, just a non-transparent dock and some more rounded edges
This will NOT install on top of any previous versions of the Pixel Launcher! You have to remove previous pixel launcher before installation.
For workable Google now left slider and AT glance wheather option you need to move app as system app, for that use any Root explore to move app in system (shown in video) or use any root method u knows to make the app As system app.
You can theme the app using subtratum swift black theme available at playstore it looks nice.

How do I install on an original google pixel because I can't uninstall the pixel launcher and they haven't given it the new version.

can't understand what do you asking?
If u want have installed this app as system app via root xplorer then delete tthis app from root>sysytem >apps.
Then u can install any pixel launcher
