about 2 days were all normal, but last night I charge the phone over night
when i woke up i see my phone and it was very hot, I tried to turn it on but failed continuously no signs of life there, I've tried a variety of ways such as waiting for 10 minutes (with a sim card, memory card, battery removed) and then try turn it on and i got nothing, I've tried to use one click unbrick application does not work
-No Led indicator
-can't turn on
-when it pluged it so freaking hot (in the left side of the camera)
-can't go to recovery or download mode
(It's like the phone without battery)
I install wanted rom ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ynos/rom-yash92duster-mm-6-0-1-stock-t3411527) (its has been a very long time when i install it )
I do not care if I lose my data just want my phone back up and running normally
(English is not my native language so forgive me if it's wrong, I try my utmost)
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Seems like your phone's motherboard has been fried. If that's the case then no ways of recovering it(Confirm this with repair shop maybe they'll help you)

have you tried a debirck image? Im sure one is around on xda somewhere. get the debrick img, mount it to an sd card, put it in your phone and see if itll boot

[Q] Htc Nexus one bricked?

Hi there!
This thread is my last hope, so please dont let me down folks...:cyclops:
The story short - one sunny morning i turned on my HTC Nexus One and it got stuck with te X on the screen for about 15 minutes, non of the buttons responded, so i did the first thing that came in my mind - i pulled out the battery. After inserting the battery the phone went full brick, i mean literally, no reaction on anything, even conected to the wall charger, there is no sign of life, no charging LED, nothing. Connected to the PC, it says USB device not recognised.
I dont think this is a hardware proble, the phone workwd fine until this interrupted power on. Phone runned on stock Androud, i have not played aroun with it - no bootloader unlock, no rooting.
I searched the internet for a solution, tried a lot of button combinations like in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1069032
but still no luck, i cannot restore or flash it while my PC does not recognise the phone.
Found some info about those Usb Jig things, but they work only on Samsung phones, so, is there a way to force the phone to go in recovery mode, or give any sign of life so i can try to recover it or flash a diferent ROM?
The warranty has ended, so no hope there.
Hope there is a way out of this, and, sory for my bad english. :good:
If you can't get your phone to bootloader, recovery or os then your phone is bricked. You could hope its as simple as a bad battery but chances are you would need JTAG to get it running again and at that point you are best of just getting a new phone.
Sorry for the bad news

S1 in bootloop after it went swiming

Hi,
I dropped my S1 in water(s*** happpens) and now its stucked in a bootloop.
It just bootes the samsung logo then it reboots.
(And I havent put it in rice ....) But i opened it up and there was no sign of waterdamage.
Its rooted with and cynongen is installed.
I cant get into native recovery mod but i can get to download mod for 2 sec then it reboots again.
I tried to connect it to windows but windows wont show it....
Then i tried to enter download while connected to windows and it showed the phone for to sec but then it reboots again.
i have looke up all diffrent kind of guids but they all require recovery mod...
I have a 4gb sd card lying around , to format it and flash somthin from there thats the thing i havent tried....
thats it if you need more informations tell me ...
Probably the hardware got damaged. I don't have any idea on how to fix.
Remove the battery and leave it several days on dry, warm place, then try again.

like i said if the hardware would be damaged it woudnt turn on....
You think the internal storage is damaged ? what ware the signs for that...
I would remove the battery and give it a week of time, it can not do any harm and could just help. If there is a drop of water on wrong place it could totally screw the device now. Unpatience is wrong fellow now. Aftet some drying time, it might work normal again.

[Q] Hard briked S3 mini out of nowhere

I have the feeling I'm going to get repetitive here guys, but I've been reading the troubleshooting threads for over an hour and couldn't find an answer to help me.
Last saturday I was to lazy to move from the couch, so I watched as my S3 Mini ran out of battery. I got the "phone is turning off" screen as usual. Later I went to bed, but as I needed my alarm to go off in the morning I tried turning it on again, and nothing* happened. Plugged it on the wall, nothing*. Replaced the battery, nothing*. Gave it a good half hour plugged, and as you can guess, nothing*.
* when I say nothing, I mean it won't light up, won't vibrate, won't wink for me, won't load any kind of error, it's actually just like if you were trying to turn on a phone without any battery connected, no grasp of life comes from its poor soul.
The only moment I could see some action on the device is when I tried connecting it on the PC a few hours ago, as it installed drivers to Windows. Right after installing the drivers however, it won't show in the file explorer. I've tried to detect it with a few development tools such as ORT and Odin and there was no sucess either. Download or Recover mode will not work as well.
One thing I think worth mentioning, is that ever since I rooted it a couple of years ago, whenever I tried to recharge it while it was off, the standard "green charging battery" would never appear. What would appear on the screen was a freezed loading icon (the one that keeps roling again and again, but frozen). This particular issue never came off, even reseting it or installing new ROMs.
I always used Maclaw's, some of the latest 4.x, because I tought the 5.x was to heavy for the s3 minis.
I've read some about USB JIGs and stuff, but what makes me very curious is what the heck?! The phone was working just fine, the battery runs out and I have a brick? Is this possible? Can anyone tell me any work around?
I apologize for possible grammar mistakes.

try to plug in the phone into charger & leave it there like 20 mins or more. battery loads then.
then try access samsung download mode, if you cant the phone is probably useless (brick for ever) because itslike mthe last standing thing.
& sorry i say that but thats typically samsung behaviuor. there allways this kind of threads in the samsung forums of xda... other manufacturer can mostly be restored or atleast you know what make it dead.
Exactly the same problems happening to me.
This is my thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-mini/help/sgs3-mini-dead-t3085031
Can you try to follow what appears on this link? (I can't by now because my PC is broken)
I think won't do nothing because you won't be able to access to the recovery mode on android, as me, but to try...

Hi there,
Thank you for your interest but I have passed this point already. Tried a brand new battery I had laying down in the drawer (which was fully charged with an universal charger) and there is no answer to any attempt of turning it on. Via recovery, download or normal boot.

Hello there,
I'm sorry to hear I'm not the only one affected by this bug (lets call it a bug). This shows there is a lack of concern from Samsung on dealing with this issues, and thus we see that old programmed obsolescence.
I will try that later on the weekend, and I come back here with an report.
Cheers

this guide useless for you. how u want flash things with odin if u cant enter download mode at all??
im really sorry for you that this phone is dead. just can give you 1 advice, dont buy samsung in future.
I have been repaired my phone successfully!!!
I just needed to change two capacitors on its motherboard, and that's it.
Here the video where I have found the info and how to do that. It's in Spanish but easy to understand for you I think. But if you need some help, send me a PM.
can you take a picture from the location of the 2 capasitors and the types of it
Hi everyone.
I have some news. It took me a while but I followed CrashOverride93's advice on that video. It actually solved one issue, as I now can turn it on, but now I have a second problem, I'm stuck on a boot loop, with acess to Download mode ONLY. No recovery.
Considering where my issue started, and where I am now, I have tried the following:
- Flashed via Odin stock ROM, kernel;
- flashed Wipe;
- flashed PARAM;
- three button combo.
So far I couldn't get it pass the boot loop. Any thoughts?

S3 Mini GT-I8190 [Bricked]

Greetings, for the first time ever in my life I never experianced getting a Bricked phone, it did not happen while flashing or doing something wrong. I just did a normal flash, it was sucessfull was running the custom Rom there since months. I just woke up grab my phone while it was charging (It was at 100%) used the Instagram app and it randomly froze, I was just thinking it's normal, every Android phone freezes sometimes somewhere , plugged out the battery plug in and tried to boot it up, but nothing no vibration, no lights nothing. After some time, in the holidays I decided to plug in the phone into my PC, I heard noises that my win10 laptop tried to reconize something, so I had still hopes for it that it still works. I heard about that a JIG will may work for it, so I bought one that was "inteded" to be for my S3 Mini GT-I8190 waited for it to arrive and plug it in finally, well you could guess it, nothing happend. I knew a friend who had the same phone and I asked him if I may plugin the JIG inside, all it done was just vibrate and nothing else. On other phones it just works flawless. I tried to look up for a debrick image for the phone but it seems there is nothing like it, like it never existed, only the S3 somewhat got it. The only thing now I could help people is, is how to get your system back while TWRP/CWM/Recovery is still there or get the recovery back while the system is still there. My only option now is create some how a own JIG, buy a JTAG and get a debrick.img but the third option appears nowhere here nor in a search engine (Or maybe only mine).
If you have questions, please aks and don't be shy. The current state of the battery right now is 2.8V (Must be at ~60%)

TWRP Bootloop after Batery Replacement

Hello.
I have an MI5 since three years and was very happy with it , but the battery needed replacement. So following the suggestions on this forum, I Bought a Nohon battery, the replacement procedure went well until the very last moment. Unfortunately the phone turned on before I put the two parts , the one on hthe upper side of the battery and the one below the battery. SO I turned it off (it went staight to TWRP) and put back all the parts and since the I am on a TWRP Bootloop. I tried to flush the of the custom roms I have downloaded preveosly (Revolution and xiaomi.eu) but no success.
I also tried to connect the phone to a PC (ubuntu, win7 , win10) but now success, it s simply is not recongized (xiaomi drivers installed)
So i dont even no how to put a fastboot rom as the phone is not recongized. Though I would first wanted to save the photos that i have on the phone. (Connecting to pc and enabling MTP from TWRP does not work).
SO i anyone could help me ...I am out of ideas.
Thanks
Only solution I can think of is putting your Mi5 in EDL mode using the PCB test point on the mainboard. However this method will delete all content.
To give you a fair warning: I would try this if I'm 5 minutes away from throwing away the phone - as kind of a last try before giving up.
I found a video tutorial showing the steps, however not in English:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ED96PJ-qYMM
The video will show how to operate the PCB test point at 4:30.
After that, you may use MiFlash tool to flash MIU ROM.
Well few days ago my phone just started normally and is working fine so far. i think though that the usb C plug might be damaged, as my phone is still not recognized by my PC.
