[Q][urgent] Temple Run 2 v1.30 cache problem - Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am using Samsung S3 mini with android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The problem is when I updated the game recently to be able to complete a global challenge by downloading the files for Frozen Shadows using 3G I had signal problems. I was only able to download part of the map and I can't re-download the Frozen Shadows map and I don't want to have to deleted the entire cache to re-download.
I was wondering if anyone that has the Android version of Temple Run 2 v 1.30(free) with all of the custom maps and characters,etc... downloaded if they could please upload either here or somewhere else a copy of the Frozen Shadows map files located here:
"/storage/sdcard0/Android/data/com.imangi.templerun2/files/Bundles/Android/500/Track/0/Arctic" and the rest of the cache? Don't need the save game itself just the game cache.
Thank you.

All apps over 30mb are considered incompatible with Galaxy S

Even for apps I have purchased before (Samurai II for example)
I want to buy Sprinkle and I cannot!!
Doesn't say they're incompatible for me...
are you looking at sprinkle free? you won't even see the full version if browsing on your phone.

Both show up just fine on my phone. I even downloaded and played it. I'm running CM7 though. Could be a firmware difference.
Just checked and got the same problem with stock rom. Says that device is not compatible, any solutions except flashing cm?

Probably not, no.
Sounds like a cache size problem. I believe stock firmware only allows a ~30mb cache size for downloading apps from the market. That means, in the event that the app is too large, it simply cannot download and install the entire app. But this is only the market's download cache.
A simple solution is to install the apk file seperate from using the market app. There's also a terminal fix that creates are larger, temporary cache. I can't remember the command off the top of my head, but I'm sure a quick search will produce positive results. I'm sure a large portion of custom ROMs—especially those the farthest away from stock—have this issue rectified. If not, search for the workaroud or install the apk yourself.
Good luck!
Ok let me explain more.
I have purchased Samurai II Vengeance from the market a while back. The apk size is a little over 40mb but it is still available for purchase and I was able to download it.
With the new market, even I have purchased the app, Samurai II Vengeance is not being displayed in the market. Not even under my purchased apps.
The problem is even i can bypass the cache problem by running some script to increase my cache size, those apps are not showing up so I cannot download even I know my cache size is big enough.
Just wanted to chime in here. Using a JVT ROM with a repartitioned device that has 60MB cache - Market version is 3.3.11. Searching for "third blade" as an example, does not return the app. It's completely hidden. Using the market website, the app shows "This item is not compatible with your device."

Why not try uninstalling market updates?
it's a market problem
Gun bros is working fine here
use chainfire 3d app from the market... install nvidia and qualcomm plugins (explained in chainfires post)... and select market fix... all apps would be restored... the new market only shows power vr based apps and doesnt shw the rest... but we always ve brilliant chainfire and his apps for the rescue...

Yes, it is a cache problem, and Yes making a "virtual cache partition" does make it bigger (i now have ~52 mb cache)...BUT, the Market doesn't know that my cache is bigger now! it still shows larger apps as "incompatible"
Is there a way to bypass these market restrictions somehow?
ps: reason i'm so desperate, is "World of Goo" just landed in android market!! I can run the Demo (28mb) alright, but full version is still "incompatible" (47mb). I'm willing to pay! just give me a chance!
i have same problem too. i cant install blood and glory.
error is " errorwhile downloading "BLOOD & GLORY ". There is insufficient space on the device." but i installed BLOOD % GLORY ( NR ) version.
another error is smurf's village isnt available for your device.
my rom is cm7
I think it's cache problem alright. The easiest way, I think, is to go CM7

[Q] LiquidSmooth V1 - Google play problem

Hello,
I have downloaded and flashed ROM from m3dd0g LiquidSmooth V1. Works great, but have 2 problems:
1. I can not install apps from the pull down menu. It FC. If I go install it from the file explorer, than it's OK.
2. I can not instal any app from the Google Play market. Always the same warning: THE PACKAGE FILE IS INVALID!
Can someone please help me?

I'm not facing any problem with Google Play Store. Try flashing LiquidSmooth V1 again, wipe data/cache/dalvik and then reboot. You may want to check if you have full root as well. You can also try downloading LiquidSmooth V1 file again, in case your file is not complete or corrupted.
I have tried to flash it 2 or 3 times already. I will download it again and try.
What do you mean, if I have a full root?
I had a googleplay problem like this, but after wiping all data and cach and flash rom it got solved ,for program fc i dont know but wipe may help too

I dowloaded the file again, and the problem stays the same. And always problems with network connection while I'm on the WEB.
Than I installed theme Bl00dy SandwitcH for Liquid V1, and Google Play works perfect. Don't know why... but Hope everything else is working...
Thank you...
Grrrrrrrrrrr......
After one day, the problem is back. Did a restart and clear devilk/catch - the same...
Does anyone have any idea?
try installing and flashing MrDsl's mixer theme. It uses a different coded market. If you don't like the overall theme, then just extract the market only apk and install that. With programs that fc, do you mean if you go to any apps, it comes up as system.ui fcs? If so, you need to enable a 4th soft key button as a menu button. Go to liquid control settings>navigation>where it says "navigation bar buttons, number of buttons" select 4. Then select the 4th button as menu button
Yesterday I discovered, that i can download apps from Google Play only with WIFI.
Today I changed setting for the internet in Access Point, and now I can download normally. Authentication type wasn't set.
I hope, that was the problem with my internet also, because was working, not working....
About FC I will change and see - it was like that: I downloaded apk file from xda, click on it from the pull down menu - FC. Than i went to the app Downloads, from there was OK.
Thank you
I too have a very weird google play problem with LiquidSmooth V1
some simple apps that i used two days ago are now not compatible anymore ( after a new Liquid install ) its doesnt make any sense... i can download from play but a lot of apps are missing and filtered out from search. When i try to install those apps from play via a desktop it sais not compatible. And yes i did a full wipe cache, data etc... any ideas?
If wiping play store data, reflashing liquid rom with wipes, or flashing the two themes that are available don't work, then your best option is buying lcd density monitor pro from market and using the market fix. It downloads and installs a modded market depending on which ever density you are on. This way is actually almost guaranteed to fix market problems.

May be app not fully compatible
As experiment try to download a map for other country and see if it completes if not so incompatible
Send message to developer email found in google play in app download page
If rooted may be make a nandroid backup then try to change build properties manual via app like root explorer or auto via app like rom control lite then clear app cash and try download again if problem restore backup
You could try to download app like titanium backup to your phone and install also the app then download map in your phone then make backup of app+data then restore to tab

It downloads fine on my tab and phone. As stated, email the developer. Might be a problem on their side.

[Q] Apps uninstalling themselves...

Hi there,
I performed a search but could not find any solution or anyone that has this same problem.
LG-P970g V20j running CM10.1 (Nightly-p970) JB 4.2.2 Kernel V 3.0.8-CM+
Certain games I download seem to be uninstalling them selves. I download the games and can run them no problem. Once I reboot, the icon remains yet when I try to open the game, it says "app not installed"...
If I check my apps list, sure enough, they are now missing. As a test I downloaded another different game and it remained installed after reboot and opened no problem.
It's only with certain games this problem occurs. Some of the specific games I know of that have this issue is Minecraft, Tupsu, Pinball Arcade and Offworld, just to name a few. Some other games that still work fine and remain installed after reboot are Angry Birds, Bad Piggies, Hill climb racing, Uno-free, SuperGnes emulator and Vector.
I tried reflashing the 4.2.2 Gapps zip. as well a clearing data, then reboot. Nothing seems to work. I install the games, they run fine. Then, after a reboot, I go to play them again, click on the icon and I get a message "app not installed". So confused...
Any ideas, thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Mike.
Edit: Also wanted to mention that I have an Asus Transformer TF101 tablet that I recently rooted and also installed CM10.1 jb 4.2.2 (Thanks to the geniuses here on Xda! ). It's working great as well and I can run those same games with zero issues. I can reboot and they all remain installed and run without any problems.

You need someone who can give you his titanium backup file of the game.
Keep in mind that even that person must have downloaded via WiFi.
And if you get that backup file please send me too. I have the same problem since I changed phone (I broke previous one so can't take backup but I have SD data downloaded via WiFi)
I know this process will work as I got same crashing problem in Dead Space and it was corrected by titanium backup file.
Hit thanks
