TWRP supports Data Transfer from PC to your phone. Just plug your phone to PC and then you should see your phone. If it won't work, use ADB Sideload. Download ROM to your PC to adb folder, then enter to sideload in TWRP and use command adb sideload [your_rom_name].zip
This should work

Yes its EVA-L19. i was running nougat.
1. I unlocked bootloader
2. And rooted with srktools but it was for marshmallow.
3. I wanted to unroot and relock bootloader.
4. I wiped everything. it said "No OS"
5. Now im sad.

What region? EVA-L19C***. The three characters after the C tells you the region the phone was built for. It could be C432, C185 etc.
I need to know that.

If you own an European P9:
1. download EVA-L19C432B386 firmware
2. Extract the UPDATE.APP from the update.zip file and copy it in a folder C:\temp for convenience.
3. Using Huawei Update Extractor unpack UPDATE.APP to a subfolder. You should obtain several img files and some other files which are not needed.
3. Download Adb Toolkit from somewhere. Copy SYSTEM.IMG, BOOT.IMG, RECOVERY.IMG, RECOVERY2.IMG files to the "Adb Toolkit" folder.
4. Open a command prompt session with administrator rights
5. From Adb Toolkit folder run in sequence:
fastboot flash boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash recovery2 recovery2.img
fastboot flash system system.img
6. Reboot the phone!
Does it boot normally?
6.a. It does not boot. Doesn't matter. Proceed to the next step!
7. Obtain the rollback package for your phone, L09 or L19.
http://download-c1.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=92086 - for L09
http://download-c1.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=92093 - for L19
Extract update.zip file, copy UPDATE.APP to the SD card in the "dload" FOLDER. Nothing else should exist in this folder.
Force firmware update by rebooting your phone using the three key COMBO (VOL DOWN + VOL UP + POWER) buttons. When you see the Huawei logo, release the power button, holding volume up and volume down until you see the update process beginning, something like a circle with % nr.
8. Download L19C432B182
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1079/g104/v74994/f1/full/update.zip
or L09C432B182 firmware,
http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1079/g104/v63880/f1/full/update.zip
depending on the phone you have.
Extract update.zip file, copy once more UPDATE.APP to the SD card in the "dload" folder, overwriting the existing UPDATE.APP file.
Force firmware update by rebooting your phone using the three key COMBO (VOL DOWN + VOL UP + POWER) buttons. When you see the Huawei logo, release the power button, holding volume up and volume down until you see the update process beginning, something like a circle with % nr.
Important that you should download the equivalent firmware for your phone.
The rollback package works for both versions of the phone L09 (single sim) and L19 (dual sim) so it's not really important which one you use. You will flash Marshmallow 6.0 anyway (EVA-L19C432B182) over by force update.
You will eventually boot into Marshmallow 6.0 - L19C432B182 firmware. Run system update 3 times to reach Nougat 7.0. It will update the firmware to Nougat 7.0 - EVA - L19C432B386.
Please leave feedback and click the thanks button!

I have the same issue.
Can i use this guide for EVA-l09?

TG, I don't need to unbrick but I wonder, if it would boot correctly to c432b386 in step 6, would it be necessary to continue with rollback and OTA upgrades to reach again the same c432b386?
Also does such extracting and flashing of partitions manually work for every FullOTA-MF-PV?

I always follow by flashing the base B182 firmware and update it via system update to have a clean running android OS.
A thanks would be nice in the forums.

I'd say proceed in flashing L19C432182 to erase old partition table and obtain a clean OS installation. I always do this, regardless if it boots after step 6 or not. Sometimes it won't boot at all.
I don't know if that applies to all firmware. For EVA-L19, I've noticed after numerous flashes, that B386 brings the partition layout to a usable state so I can force flash using the dload method.
It took me a while to realize that B386 is the right firmware for fastboot flashing. Other firmwares fail completely when flashing system.img.
Using the above described method gave me 100% results.
I always do a factory reset and wipe cache/dalvik cache afterwards.

Do you have links for 636?

Dude, I am trying to help you.
Post your base firmware number!
Which one is it?
L19C636 ???
What was your last firmware that you had installed on your phone? L19C636XXXX ???

@Gian_123
Flash EVA-L19C636B190 OTA-MF firmware (http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1079/g104/v64610/f1/full/update.zip) instead of EVA-L19C432182 at step 8.
You should be able to receive the next Nougat 7.0 update and further updates.

Never flash anything on your phone before unlocking the bootloader!!! Never!
Try to obtain the data in the screenshot, from your phone box or from huawei call center/service and unlock the bootloader!
Go to en.ui.vmall.com/plugin.php?id=unlock and enter that information!

Never flash anything on your phone before unlocking the bootloader!!! Never!
Try to obtain the data in the screenshot, from your phone box or from huawei call center/service and unlock the bootlocker!
Go to en.ui.vmall.com/plugin.php?id=unlock and enter that information!

I update to B132 and I have some bug on this firmware

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Mhg3hdcSq0
I want to dowgrade from nem-l21_c432b132 back to stock nem-l21_c432b100
I copy the dload and update.app B100 + *#*#2846579#*#* and press update, but is not working, i get update failed.
How can downgrade the firmware?
You got the update fail cause your version is higher than b100.
I think that if you want to downgrade you will have to download Full B100 not the OTA.
But I recommend if you want to do this use the b130 - I am using it and it is very good.
Do the whole procedurÄ™ through turned of phone: then VOL down and up together if I remember correctly.
I have try Full B100 not ota.
Not working.
Maybe some one know how to downgrade with fastboot?
nem-l21_c432b132 to nem-l21_c432b130 is working downgrade.
But i want nem-l21_c432b100
i try flashboot
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash system system.img
At fastboot flash system system.img i get failed
someone can help me?
@zzhunt This is an experimental method to go back to B100 by using OEMinfo. You do on your own risk! Required unlocked bootloader and installed TWRP (from Meticulus). Before performing make a full backup in TWRP.
1. Download here this package and put together of firmware B100 on the memory card,
2. Run and install in TWRP this package.
3. When finished install it, restart your smartphone to fastboot mode (Reboot>Bootloader)
4. Plug it into your computer and flash original recovery [LINK] a command "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
5. When you can flashed, then disconnect and hold power switch. When the informations will disappear from the display, immediately press the buttons Volume up and Volume down,
6. Will start the flashing system and after finishing restart your smartphone
7. Done!
I tested so far only on my device and don't know, what will happen with smartphone a different serial number/IMEI etc., but rather it should go.

Reverting back can be done by putting the full update in dload folder in sdcard. I have once got that error that u r talking about after the installing process completed. So i simply rebooted. And i got the stock one. So try this, just reboot and see.

In full stock firmware, after extracting it, there is dload folder. In dload folder there will be 2 folders and update app.
I try B100 firmware bulgaria and greece
On greece is only dload folder and update.app
And in bulgaria is 1 folder hw + update.app
http://postimg.org/image/w6e41dxet/
in hw folder is other folder EU and inside is update_data_hw_eu.app
I try with update.app + this folder.
Not working, at 5% fail install and start normal.
I want to go back to B100 because this updates B130-131-132 is junk for me.

You have unlocked bootloader? If not, you'll have to unlock - here is a tutorial on how to do it. Then you flash TWRP and perform what I wrote previously.
for me b132 optimized alot battery life and ram usage. also gpu works better.

Huawei P9 Soft-bricked, no OS, has TWRP

I have soft-bricked my Huawei P9, and i would like to go back to the stock rom. I have access to TWRP, but I don't know how I can flash the stok rom from it. With Huawei Update Extractor I was able to get these files: BOOT.img, RECOVERY.img, CUST.img and SYSTEM.img. Do I just flash these with fastboot? Or how can I go back, without dload? Thanks.

NEM-L21 bricked, bootlooped after trying to go back to 6.0

Dear XDA members,
Maybe someone could help me.
I was using the beta Nougat on my 5C (7lite - NEM-L21) and I decided I would like root. I installed Nougat TWRP and went well then I've encountered problem when installing supersu.zip - data problems, so I googled (damn google specialists) so I wiped system and DATA. I left myself without any operating system. So I managed to instal Lineage 13 for P9lite-Honor 5C.
But no, that was not enough, I tried again to install the beta update + patch for NEM-21... And thats it no more Lineage 13 no more nothing. After that I have installed TWRP through ADB and I could not go into it. So again google - I managed somehow to install original B132 firmware (before it I installed recovery taken out of B132) and it go through installation with success.
Unfortunately that's it - phone stays in the HONOR logo and nothing more - ah yes I did clean to factory through Honor original recovery.
Can ANYONE help me solve my problem, or you think it's a lost cause?:good:

1- Extract the update.zip from this thread, u'll find an Update.app. Open it using huawei update extractor, and then extract BOOT.img, RECOVERY.img, SYSTEM.img to adb folder.
2- Boot your phone into bootloader (shut it down, press volume down - then connect it to your computer)
3- Flash the files extracted from UPDATE.APP using these commands
Code:
-fastboot flash boot BOOT.img
-fastboot flash recovery RECOVERY.img
-fastboot flash system SYSTEM.img (this will take some time so be patient).
Again thanks for help: y4c1ne

Any chance have the original stock ROM VIE-L29C636B130 in their archive? Huawei had removed that already.. and I am stuck in updating my phone as I didn't have a backup of the original rom's recovery file..
Huawei OTA does not pick up any updates and tools I have tried so far failed to apply the full OTA.
restore recovery from recovery2 :
go into twrp
advance -> file manager -> /dev/block/platform/hi_mci.0/by-name/
copy recovery2 to SDcard (or other place)
rename copied recovery2 to recovery
recopy the file to /dev/block/platform/hi_mci.0/by-name/
And after that just reboot? Apologise for the question but I am new in that and I wand to restore my stock rom, recovery, lock the bootloader. For warranty claim purpose ...
Also if anybody has an archive with the firmware file which should be copied to sd and card flashed to my phone ... VIE-L29C185B360
Any help will be highly appreciated.
yes just reboot and the stock recovery must be come back
now to unlock the bootloader you need to install the B181 (download here) but if your current version is B360 you need to rollback to B300 (download here) first then to B181
steps
1- extract "update.app" from the B300 zip to dload folder in SDcard and install it with the 3 buttons methode
2- extract "update.app" from the B181 zip to dload folder in SDcard and install it with the 3 buttons methode
normaly the bootloader must be locked after installation but some factory apps have deleted
to recover this apps you need to unlock your bootloader and flash twrp to recovery2 not recovery (fastboot flash recovery2 twrp.img) then install this zip via twrp, then re-install B181 again
normaly your phone must be in his factory stat
(sorry for bad english)
Many thanks for your help.
My bootloader is already unlocked, on the second paragraph you wanted to say "to lock the bootloader". I am correct?
I will do this as soon as possible and will come back with updates about the status.
A lot of steps, I hope it will go smooth enough for a begginer like me ...
No , after the installation of B181 (step 2)the bootloader will be locked, you need to unlock it again to flash twrp and installa the apps zip then re-install B181 to relock the bootloader (locked stat)
Well, it seems that I am out of luck, when I have arrived at home, the links provided by you I think just stopped working (it was impossible to download the files from work) and I cannot find the files that you are talking about.
Firmware finder is giving me only the files as below. Any chance that at least VIE-L29C185B181 to be the right one? I have attached the picture below.
Corrected: Only the last from your links is working, a 329 Mb file.
all links work for me
you find the files here
http://consumer.huawei.com/eg-en/support/phones/p9-plus/
download :
-P9 Plus Rollback Package (VIE-L29, from Android 7.0 EMUI 5.0 to Android 6.0 EMUI 4.1, C185B300, MiddleEast&Africa)
-P9 Plus Firmware (VIE-L29, Android6.0, EMUI4.1.1, C185B181, MiddleEast&Africa)
Hi, thank you for your patience.
It happened something strange last night, when I have tried to download the files I was redirected to a page where it told me that the connection was refused by server. This happened every time when I tried.
In the morning, magically, the links were valid and everything worked as you said. I do not have a proper explanation about what it happened.
Now, for reasons that I do not know, the download speed is very low, approx. 80kb/s which will give me more than 1 day to download the files (at least the biggest one).
I already started downloading, hopefully all will be ok.
I will keep you informed.
Again, many thanks for your help.
Wait. VIE-L29C636 only have VIE-L29C636B180 not VIE-L29C636B181.

Another question. In recovery2 shouldn't be the eRecovery?
I am asking this because maybe the guys from customer support/service will check this stuff...
fastboot flash recovery2 recovery.img, yes this is the command
recovery = recovery2 but they boot differently (recovery boot as reset factory or updater , recovery2 boot as eRecovery)

System don't boot on Honor 5C

Hi, guys!
In the begin.
When I bought my phone it has NEM-UL10C00BXXX (I forgot three last numbers), then I tried to install Lineage OS 14.1 (Android 7.1.2) with TWRP-3.0.2-0-hi6250-v4 by Meticulus and it was successful, but some time later I encountered with some bugs and I made a decision to back to stock firmware and then install NEM-L51C10BXXX with RU-location. After back to stock firmware I flashed TWRP-3.0.2-0-hi6250-v4 by Meticulus, then from it I flashed RU-location. After it I install NEM-L51C10BXXX with 3 buttons (vol-, vol+ and power) and it was successful too. But then I installed Android 7.0 Nougat and after it I did something actions which I forgot. As a result of it, I encountered with real problem, because I couldn't flash system.img and boot.img (Lineage OS 14.1), which I dumped with TWRP-3.0.2-0-hi6250-v4 by Meticulus. When I tried to do it fastboot returns me: "Invalid sparse file format at header magic".
In the end.
My Honor 5C can't boot system after successful flashing service firmware (boot.img, system.img, recovery.img, cust.img and userdata.img). But when I flashed userdata.img fastboot returns me: "(bootloader) success to erase cryypt info in oeminfo". I'm out of mind what problem is that. I can't flash stock firmware as not with TWRP and as not with stock recovery. Recovery returns me that firmware, which I tried to install, is incompatible with current firmware and in any way it returns me: "Failed".
Please, help me with my issue.
The incompability error is caused most probably because you have not flashed the rollback package on your device. You cannot use the dload (update.app) method if you have updated to nougat and need to downgrade. Try to look for the rollback package for your model in a meanwhile

1. First download backup.
2. Extract this archive to /TWRP/BACKUPS/phone_name/ folder on your sdcard.
You can determine name of your device by typing "fastboot devices" on Windows or "sudo fastboot devices" on Linux.
3. From fastboot flash RevolutionRecovery_Nougat_RC3_26-03-17_EN.img to eRecovery.
4. Go to eRecovery, tap to restore, select sdcard and now you can see the backup folder. Select it and restore all partitions that are presented here. After restore reboot to system. Just wait some time and system will start.
5. Now you can flash NEM-L51C10B351 from fastboot.
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
6. Donwload Honor 5C Rollback Package (NEM-L51, from Android 7.0 EMUI 5.0 to Android 6.0, EMUI 4.0, C10B301, Russia) and put UPDATE.APP file to dload folder on your sdcard. Shutdown phone from RevolutionRecovery. Hold on 3 buttons (vol-, vol+ and power), while logo of android will not appear.
7. Next install Honor 5C Firmware (NEM-L51, Android6.0, EMUI4.1.2, C10B141, Russian) with stock recovery. Accomplish actions which I wrote in point 6.
8. So now, if you of course want, you can update your Android 6.0 to 7.0 with Firmware Update. It will notifies you about new version of firmware (NEM-L51C10B355).
