I heard that by connecting nexus 6p and nexus 5x via type c cable can share power between them. Is this possible in mi5? Can i connect two mi5 by using a type c otg adapter and regular mi5 datacable?
Silicon Power USB 3/USB C stopped working. It's odd. The usb c used to work on thr Note 9 before the update. The full sized usb works with the Samsung adapter. The usb c side works fine on my v20. The usb out to hdmi works fine. I have several usb c drices that work on everything else but the only one that works on the Note 9 is the Sandisk. Trouble is I have to take the case off to use the sandisk.. Now I know the usb c works fi e on v20 so I think it is a software issue. Im on the April Verizon update on unlocked version note 9.. Is there any trick to fget it working?
Ideas?

Magisk module will fix it
I'd rather not root the phone.
will lose wedevine level...
Hey !
For me, using the Dualshock 4 via Bluetooth is impossible, it lags and duplicate commands, but it actually works perfectly via OTG
how?
Plugged it in my MI 9 and nothing happens.
I'm using original MI 9 charger cable and and otg micro usb adapter like this.
no reaction at all.
even tried a usb-c to hdmi hub (has hdmi, USB port and PD). nothing.

Is the OTG working on other devices?
I'm using a Samsung one (see attachments), it's the one included in the Galaxy S10 box, a friend gave it to me because he had one already, you can find it here
I just plug the controller inside the USB and then plug the OTG in the phone using the Type C
I think you are actually plugging the phone into the controller because the OTG you sent me is a Micro USB one, so you might be plugging your phone into the OTG that you actually plug into the controller
I see but also tried one of these:
RON 26.05 32%OFF | Kebidu Type-C Female Adapter Usb Type-C Hub Adapter 3-in-1 USB C hub to HDMI USB3.0 with Charging Converter
https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/2dG8IbBa
Which I'm essence is the same as otg using the hub and still nothing
unfortunately xiaomi screwed us again.
although android 10 comes with dualshock 4 support, it's nowhere to be seen in miui11
so here's the deal, both of my Dualshock 4 controllers are v1.
Borowed a V2 from a friend, no lag whatsoever. not sure, but I suspect a driver issue on the phone side with v1
Rooted mi9 ps4 controller
Hello, is it possible to root a Xiaomi mi9 and use ps4 controller?
Hi guys, I would just like to know if this phone is compatible with type c touchscreen monitors? I have one which works perfect with my Note 9 with usb c to usb c connection, but does not seem to work with the rog phone 2? But connecting it via usb to hdmi works fine, but I don't get the touch functions this way.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Same doubt here!
My former Galaxy S9+ works like a charm with the touch portable monitor I got, but my new ROG Phone 2 doesnt seem to be compatible, despite having TWO USB C ports, one being 3.1
Asus has one that works with ROG Phone
...but its very expensive!
Hi,
my brother owned a Pixel 5 and we have a strange USB issue.
The connection to a computer works only with a USB C to C cable. (Testet the original Pixel 5 an Pixel 2 XL cable)
When i try to connect his Pixel 5 with a USB C to USB A cable it is not working. (All testet cables are working with my Pixel 2 XL)
Has anyone of you the same issue? Is there a solution?
Mine connects to my PC with a standard USB A to USB C cable (Tried with with both an Anker and a Nokia cable)
It could just be that particular cable. I also have this one A to C cable that works with any other phone except my pixel 5.
it's really strange, it doesn't even charge with a Huawei charger that works on my Pixel 2 XL (USB A to C cable)
That's because they're not meeting USBC spec which is a big deal
Google Pixel 4 doesn't work with some USB cables (Update: Google responds)
The Pixel 4 doesn't seem to play nicely with certain USB cables. Here's what we've found out and which cables it does/doesn't work with.
www.androidauthority.com
Update, 10th January 2020: Google has responded after looking into the matter internally. The company confirms that the lack of charging and data via offending cables is intentional behavior with the Google Pixel 4. It is caused by cables that do not follow the official USB-C specification.
According to a Google spokesperson, “Pixel 4 is compatible with all chargers and cables that comply with the USB Type-C Cable and Connector Specification”. Reading between the lines, cables that break official USB-C specifications are disabled from working with the Pixel 4. Google is making good on its promise to stamp out questionable USB-C cables and chargers.
