FakeModStockOS [LT30P] - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Stock Based Full Custom ROM for LT30P Based on [Stock 9.2.A.1.205] and Community Suggestions
[[whys it called FakeMod?]]
Becuase its not a true Mod/Custom Rom Merely a combination of allthings moddable on our LT30P
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lets revitalize the LT30P for all users that still own the device im building a stock Kernel compatible Rom using the latest still compatible Binaries i can find for Android 4.3 certain trade offs will have to be made for compatability with SEMC's systemui and framework but we could still replace a large part of that with our own versions using the right tools..
Multistage project
---------
stage 1#
Research into latest or most stable ***STOCK*** Compatible Kernels for LT30P UK/EUROPEAN Devices
[this also includes *any* kernel that loads without errors on the LT30P **Locked Bootloader Only**] [SBL Hacks/KEXEC mod bypasses also acceptable]
stage 2#
Base system building using known working Binaries compatible with Android 4.3 Jellybean
(this includes all WiFi firmware and GPU Libraries [Non-free included in Update.Zip to fit with GPL if necessary?]
stage 3# Basic system Apps Voting [SEMC Apps possible (included as separate aroma Addon Update.zip ONLY)]
stage 4# Addon apps [including launchers and Minimal GAPPS]
Stage 5# Alpha Testing/Release Stage [Adding final apps and stability testing all round]
During all stages i would appreciate all input even if your telling me you hate the current rom design
to be honest theres not much to go on for our specific device at the moment but so much available for JellyBean 4.3
show me what you've found for 4.3 or even what systemui/framework App you've found useful for our LT30P
Apps/Themes or even General Fix/Patches to make the device work better its up to you this will be a community effort among the few people that still use this device lets show them what this device is truly capable of just because we cant easily unlock bootloader for many people doesn't have to be obsolete
requirements:
All modifications MUST be Compatible with Kernel [9.2.A.1.205 Stock]
Workarounds Are Acceptable as long as they are reliable and don't cause issues with the ROM (minor issues can be patched if possible)
main aim of project is to provide as many new features as possible while keeping the ROM Stock Kernel Bootable this is just a test project to push our device to the limits

The download site shows it's for the GSM version
Sent from my GT-N8000 using Tapatalk 4
Just noticed it when I want to download the file. Another question, which note series this rom belong? N8000/13/10? I'm afraid if I installed the wrong rom it might brick my tablet
can't install the Rom
I downloaded the Rom and try to install it but there's an error occurred. While flashing the rom, the operation aborted and it says "bad zip file" anyone encountered the same problem? How to solve this issue?
No problem, flashing it
I had not any problem, flashing it from external sd, with wipes of course (factory and cache). The rom behavior is excellent to date.

In simple terms stock based roms will use the Sony skin and many of Sony's apps - typically the developer will have tweaked the build to improve performance or used the most recent version of Sony apps from higher end devices (the Z1 for example). They may also add some extra features - (using the volume buttons to skip music tracks/advanced reboot menu).
Custom Roms won't have any of the Sony features and generally will be closer to unskinned AOSP (Android Open Source Project) in appearance. They will mostly have some unquie features and be more options for customisation than a stock based ROM. Developers can also release higher versions of Android than Sony, allowing the user to experience Kit Kat long before Sony release a build. They tend to perform better than stock builds because they are less bloated. Sony has significant facebook integration within it's builds for example, similarly whilst it's possible to ignore it, there is a lot of secondary marketing within a Sony build trying to get you to use their music/video/games services. Most of these apps are heavy, slowing down the device. The SP copes fine, but their are definitely smoother custom roms out there.
Ok thanks !

1 kernel to rule them all means that 1 hal fixed in 1 device works on all devices
1 patch merged in kernel to fix something fixes same problem on all devices

I hope I'm not presumptuous or wrong: will it come with CWM and/or TWRP recovery versions?
Many thanks.

Unless I'm mistaken, the sony source doesn't work with pure AOSP. All AOSP or derivatives roms use the CM android_kernel_sony_msm8974pro or forks of it.
My question is thus the following: is this kernel source compatible with AOSP or like "kernel-copyleft", only with stock rom derivatives?
My custom kernel works on the latter, but I need to use the "msm8974pro" trees for pure AOSP.
Unless I'm missing something?

Can't boot
@jerpelea I've compiled AOSP Lollipop and it boots fine. I've compiled the kernel from 3.5.2.2 branch of the unified kernel source and successfully made zImage. I've combined the zImage with the resulting dtb and the ramdisk from the AOSP build. I can't get the device to boot for some reason. It's stuck at the Sony boot logo. Did I miss a step ? I've searched online but couldn't get enough help about this.
Tried the same with Kitkat too but same result. Doesn't go past the sony boot logo.
UPDATE
Got it to work The command line argument in the guide provided has android boot device as qcom whereas the one compiled during AOSP has it as "shinano" Took me 1 build to understand this Back to work again

[ROM][2015.07.31]Unofficial CM7 with Stagefright vulnerability patched[CM7]

I still get good use out of my HTC Incredible running CM7, but old as it is, it will receive no patches for the recent publicized Stagefright vulnerability. To protect my device and home network, I rebuilt CM7 for the Incredible with the following patches included:
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_frameworks_av/commit/743caa87a8dd393f96c2d3daeaa557d0a60bf252
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_frameworks_av/commit/c6fc7695a46606c353ed0ba1be38ad940b9d88d6
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_frameworks_av/commit/96bd564fc55671bd881caf94584da58b5dfd4bf7
(I didn't include the other three:
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_frameworks_av/commit/b5738ab014d916b071e66857a1546fc6b4813f09
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_frameworks_av/commit/18b7e3cfda64697e803755df64081619f7d44cc5
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_frameworks_av/commit/9f65a14df51a7fde1eae2819b93654b1bee73da1
because those three fix memory problems in code that was added to libstagefright in versions of Android later than Gingerbread.)
I thought I would share it in case anyone else is still using their dinc and wanted to protect themselves from the stagefright problem.
