No homescreen after root.

1.st off thanks for the extremely helpful guides and taking the time to root this device because the copious amount of OE bloatware is horrible.
2.nd I rooted my 510 and now i have no "home" screen. I can view apps and settings and if i recieve a text i can view it by clicking the notification but if i hit home it goes straight to the google search menu?
I tried a factory reset and nothing.

Are you running a stock rom or something else? It sounds like Sense isn't installed.

well i was on the stock ROM. but now i think i made the problem worse by trying to fix it. now it wont boot passed the HTC screen. SO i guess i need to try to load a factory boot image?

Yeah, if you've got TWRP installed I would flash a stock rom. CM11 is also usable minus the cameras.

Do you have a stock Rom? I cant find one that works. I'm also a huge noob.

What all have you actually flashed or done to the phone? And this error is in TWRP and not fastboot right?

thats the problem im not %100 sure. im pretty sure i have no OS currently flashed. and yeah the error is in twrp

How are you getting the zip over to the phone? Use adb push or an external sd card. You might need to wipe (factory reset) in TWRP before you try and install.

Ok it opened the zip and says flashed successful. now its just sitting on the htc boot screen hmm

Sounds like a problem with boot. Do a factory reset in TWRP, flash http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57174863&postcount=1 and then afterwards flash that ROM.
Download the zip in this post and adb push that file to your TWRP/BACKUPS/ folder and restore like that. I forgot the other ROM I had you flash required a previous backup to have been made.

Regarding http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-510/development/virgin-sprint-htc-desire-510-stock-t2961521 , are you going about it this way?
There's not really a rom that you can flash without already having a backup. If all else fails you can fastboot oem lock and then run the Sprint 510 RUU from http://www.htcdev.com/devcenter/downloads

Help me i freaking out

I was on Lineage os but when my phone charged to 100% (was disabled) i put it out the charger and enabled it in same time. After this my phone died. i was needed to flash to Miui8.7.4.20 and i stuck i want to back to lineage os. can somebody link me what to do beacuse i feel so crazed and need someone help. For now i am on Mui by xiaomi.eu 7.2.13. Can somebody help me back to lineage?

Wipe system in twrp then flash lineage, happened to me on slimdragons

I already back to it but thanks. Btw The thing that started it all is really weird. I just pluged out The phone when hitted the power button and Poof - my mi5 died and was only seen by pc as qualcom device

You should flash the 7.3.9 firmware before flashing the lineageos! Read the OP notes before flashing

I know, i was doing something wrong because i spend 3 hours to bring it back to life. And i did it

Oneplus 3t oos lags

Hey, sooo my oneplus 3t lags in every oos version (stable/open beta) and it mostly appears when i pull down the notification panel and the quick settings. tried clean flashing/ using the unbrick tool to go back to completely stock. the problem dosen't appear on any custom Rom that i have used so far but i do want to stay stock for now. any suggestions?

It happens after you start installing apps? or does it happen as soon as it boots up for the first time after clean flashing?

That's weird. If it happens even after a clean flash then I think you have hardware problems my friend.

i dont think its a hardware problem because on custom roms everything works smoothly. (even hydrogen 8.0)

Uhmm you must be jumping a step or something going back to stock... Try doing a factory reset from stock recovery AFTER you flash the stock rom.

what do you recommend to do? clean flash the latest oos version or use the unbrick tool to go back to stock and then update from the ota?

I've never used any unbrick tool. Just be sure to check "allow oem unlock" in the developer settings in case anything goes wrond.

None of the custom roms are booting

Hey everyone! I have a weird problem. I have rooted my Honor 5C NEM-L21 but everytime i try to flash a custom rom it gets bootlooped. I have tried multiple different roms and formatting /data as f2fs , yet have the same problem everytime that i flash a custom ROM. I have as well everytime downgraded the OS back to EMUI 4 and updated the OS to EMUI 5 but it does not help with the problem. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this problem? Thanks

It should be,it depends if you want to flash one of his roms.I'm using Lineage with the latest TWRP and it's working .

I have the same problem, i tried it several times but never worked. I gave up and instaled OctRom form felix-development after all...

Try the stock kernel.I did that to make Lineage work,or you could try first to install elite rom then the rom that you want.

Bootloop after flashing any kernel

Good time of the day, I need help with resolving the issue mentioned in title. No matter which kernels I flash, bootloop consistently occurs. I flashed them using TWRP and cleared all caches as required, but to no avail. Neither on a clean system nor on a rooted one do they work

Did you recently upgrade to May1 Security Patched Firmware upgrade?

ok I thought so, atleast flashing disable-dmverity makes the GSI boot to rom logo but nothing beyond that, it just refuses to boot anything but the latest Stock ROM, I think its time to throw away this device (SM-M215G) into the garbage bin. Man Shamshung ruined my device, now stuck on 1UI5.1!

Have you tried flashing Kernel through Terminal or ADB sideload? Try finding out if A13 Stock ROM is R/O-System?
