Is there any slow down or any other errors in the lolipop update. Is it betst morethan kitkat?
Yes You can use it on your Honor 4c. But I would advise you not to do so. USB otg won't work and the there is not much change in the UI. The apps take more space than usual and considering the low internal storage on this device it is not such a good idea.

im new to android , i used honor 4x, still with un-root . . can i root it?
Just broke my phone with this update.
At some point the system started reporting about the availability of an upgrade, but I didn't manage to install it -- the phone was complaining on version mismatch.
Then I tried to install this "beta update", and it worked, i.e. got installed. But on my phone it looks completely broken -- the sim cards don't work (they are detected, but can't connect to any service), Google services can't get updated and it is generally glitchy.
Now the "Build version" says: BalongC52B311, the serial number is: R8QBY15321003133
I bought this phone in the UK, but since it refused to accept UK update, I think it's somehow unorthodox.

I just updated honor 4x to 5.1.1 emui 3.1 from the official honor page but i would like to downgrade back to emui 3.0 can anyone help me out ?

Check the ROMs forum for Marshmallow ROMs. As for Nougat, no devs have built yet for Honor 4x.
backup your data using twrp to rollback easily
Che2-UL00 has no Custom roms atm (any Kirin 620 tho), so for now, we can just wait and hope, the users with CHE1-XXX have custom roms, since they have snapdragon

I just received my brand new Honor 5C from China and would like to install a european rom (France) to get rid of Huawei chinese programs.
I've read the similar threads on this forum, but I'm not sure of what exactly I need to do to avoid bricked phone or loss of SIM card.
Bootloader is already unlocked and I have a NEM-AL10C00B110-2GBRAM build number.
Can you help me ? I'd appreciate it a lot !

Yes, changing hardware regions on NEM-AL10 is impossible without losing cellular connectivity atm.
But you have a solution. I've made a zip for TWRP which cleans out most Chinese software and tweaks the settings to suit Russian users. European languages also supported. There is some Cyrillic here and there but you'll get firmware without Chinese apps, with working play market, contacts/calendar sync and many usability tweaks for emui.
