HEY GUY,
This video will guide you how to install
GOOGLE ASSISTANT ON ONEPLUS 3
ROOTED OR NON ROOTED.
File LINK:

this is already detailed on this thread thoroughly, and I'm not sure where the zip file you posted is from?
also, given the name "pixel experience" , i assume that this also installs the pixel launcher at least, which not everyone will want.

Hey guys,
Tried out several ROMs/kernals, etc....mostly looking for best battery life...have found that Resurrection Remix (CM14.1) has been the best so far...
Question - in my flip flopping of ROMs I've grown to like the google assistant. Anyone have any luck installing that? I've tried editing my build.prop and installing the latest arm-64 apk beta for the google app...nothing seems to work. Anyone have any success? Oh - and if it matters - I'm using Nova Lancher beta 5.10.
Thanks in advance!
There's an xposed module that enables it....
Look for assistant enabler..
It works for me on stock rom 3.5.4

Thank you for the response...yes, that was one of the older versions I was running...anything 6.0 you can run xposed....Xposed does not have a working version for Nougat yet.
I could always get the Google assistant on a Nougat ROM. Don't remember if I tried it on RR, but I think you'll get it, just follow some guide on enabling assistant. Mine involved making those changes to build prop file, clearing cache of the Google app. Once, I could enable the assistant following a guide on XDA itself which made me flash some files. It basically does the similar editing of the build prop file. The guide was titled something like Pixel experience, maybe.
Sorry for this vagueness.
The point I'm trying to make is, most of the guides out there work. You just need to Google it.
I'm an old guy who is new to making modifications to my phone and I really need some help.
I've got a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with a stock ROM and running Android 5.01. I've installed TWRP and made a backup. From there, I'm a little lost. From the reading that I've done, I know that Samsung has a bootloop issue. I've downloaded the Xposed ZIP for Samsung but in the details it said it runs on Android 5.1 and above. Here is what I need to know.
1. Will the modified framework work on 5.01 or is there another version of Xposed that I should be running?
2. Does anyone know if there is a written guide or a good step by step video that can walk me through the setup? Most of the stuff that I'm reading is written for people with more background in Android modifications than I actually have. I'm kind of looking for something written for a novice, that takes me through all of the steps.
3. A really basic question here that will give you an idea of my experience level. Everything I've read about Xposed on the Note 4 says that you have to flash the framework to the phone. How do you do that? I know that may sound like a stupid question but I'm a beginner.
Any assistance will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to XDA.
Please have a look at this thread and read post #2.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/official-xposed-lollipop-t3030118
There you'll find all required information about how to identify the correct framework version for yourself. You have to use the framework version by XDA member arter97. A link to the corresponding thread can be found in the above mentioned post #2.
You have mostly set up everything that you need for flashing Xposed. Flashing means installing a file (either .zip or .img) through recovery. TWRP is a custom recovery, thus enabling users to flash custom modifications such as Xposed or custom ROM's. Just enter TWRP, chose Install, navigate to the file you want to install and proceed.
For video tutorials, just search YouTube for "flashing Xposed Lollipop Samsung" (or similar).
If you have further questions about the framework, please use the corresponding thread of arter97.
As an alternative, search XDA for "Material Design Xposed Installer". You'll find a thread of an unofficial version of the Xposed Installer app, which can help you to find and install the correct version in a more easier way. Don't worry about the description "unofficial", it is the same as the official version, beside the option to download and install framework versions for not officially supported versions like the one you need.
Thank you. Have run into another issue though and need further assistance.

Thank you for posting this thread. It helped me a lot but I've run into another issue. Specifically, deodexing my ROM. I've spent the better part of the past day researching this.
The thread you gave me has a link to a deodexing tool but I can't get it to work on the phone since windows 10 doesn't recognize the phone as a logical drive with a letter. Instead, it comes up by its name: Ganymede
Is there another way that you know of to deodex the ROM? I know that Titanium Backup Pro does deodexing but only for apps. They have a disclaimer that says they don't impact framework... which is what I'm assuming that I need to do. Or is there already a deodexed version of the stock Samsung ROM available to use? Again, I'm new to this so I really don't know what I'm looking for.

I am not familiar with how to deodex a ROM as I haven't done this before. But there is a dedicated sub-forum here on XDA for the Note 4 (even for different carriers, if this applies to you). A quick search for "Samsung Galaxy Note 4" will bring up all sub-forums. Identify the correct one for your device and check out the Q&A section or ROM development sections there. You might find either a guide about how to deodex a ROM, a deodexed ROM itself or a custom ROM, which does not necessarily need to be deodexed if it is based on an Android version different from 5.0.1.
As I am not familiar with both the Note 4 as well as the process of deodexing a ROM, I am afraid that I might be of no further help here. Hopefully you'll find some way in the above mentioned sub-forum.

Why Mi A2 is not supported for Google ARCore. Moto One Power has the support even at lower hardware specifications than this device. Recently Google has also added support for new devices, still Mi A2 is left out.

well, since ARcore is a software thing, you can bypass it to work if you have root, i did it and worked on mine, i can use AR+ in pokemon go, the only reason i wanted it, and it have no lags what so ever...
i have no idea why it isn't supported...works perfectly just as it does on the supported phones.

i just installed this module called Daydream Bypass, there's a thread about it, but i couldn't find to link, i sent you a link as private message, because the forum didn't allow me to post it here..
go to your maggsk modules and install it using the + button..after that you just restart and install ArCore on pthe play store and clear the data of your pokemon go app
Search this: ARCore, AR Stickers, and Playground for Unsupported Devices, then just follow the steps in 2nd section (Phones without official ARCore support, Option 1)
https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/ar/
I followed option 1 of not supported devices.
Works great! Only selfie modus doesn't work.
thanks all for the help, works for me
Hey, can you provide me more details on what method did you use to make it work? I followed the steps that provided at the link posted here, but the screen always goes black whenever I tried to use ar+ on pokemon go.
Well, I'm officially cutting my hopes on waiting for them to add ARCore. So I invite everyone of you to follow Xiaomi's official twitter account and every time they tweet reply to them with #ARCore_For_Xiaomi_Mi_A2 . You don't need to put any text or something just include the hashtag. I hope that if we do that Xiaomi will finally hear us or give us a clue on why they're not adding ARCore to Mi A2.
Good luck :good:

Also for the sake of being more serious I made a bug report on Google Issue Tracker with the following link :
https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/134473346
Please go there and post your requests.
Let's get this done , if we stay together we'll definitely get what our phone deserves ...

Edit : I'm very sad to inform you that there is simply no way to get Xiaomi to provide that. Also Google is not responsible for this so you can stop posting in Google Issue Tracker.

Same. I done the entire process and nothing =(. Idk if that's because arcore was updated since their comments. I also don't see what the "option 1", mentioned previously, refers to.
Do I need to have fingerprint disabled?

For whoever interested I made it work by following a guide to make camerapi to work and installing the google camera int he order of this guide from the " Enable camera2 api o" section. (Don't forget to clear store for the apps you are gonna reintall like the arcore if you already have it from trying the previous guide).

c.mi.com/thread-1883235-1-0.html
I think modifying the value for the camera through buildprop made the thing.

They seem to have removed the different options, there is now only one option remaining. Just follow that link and select "# Phones without official ARCore support" and follow the steps. Worked for me.

Fingerprints in this case have nothing to do with your fingers but with the phone itself. You'll fake the phone fingerprint so ARCore thinks it's a Pixel 2 instead of a Mi A2.
Hi all,
as mentioned in the title, I have a rooted Mi Max 2, with MIUI Global 11.
To my surprise I found that AdAway cannot be installed there, which is a bummer, since I really like that app.
Is there any way to get AdAway in my phone ?
Or is there an alternative app that does not require to set a VPN to block ads?
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
I'll answer myself here.
In this thread I found an apk for AdAway that actually works. Just unpack the zip file, copy the apk to the phone and install the apk.
MiX Pack for the simple user (TWRP AdAway SuperSU)
Hi all, Here you may find a zip containing some very basic resources which can be found elsewhere without too much effort however I figured I would make things that slightest bit easier for some who use any of the MIUI 9+ builds. The following...

It's possible you downloaded the wrong version of the app. If you look at various apps on APKMirror, such as Google Photos, there are many different variants available. You want to use an arm64-v8a version, preferably "nodpi" as that should work with all devices.

For some reason Google made an absurd last minute decision to make 32bit arm apps incompatible with the Pixel 7 at the software level. There is a workaround which I can confirm does work, as I am using it, but to get it to work if you have already rooted your phone with magisk you will have to backup your data and then do a wipe of the device.
The workaround is at this thread

There's a new restriction with Android 13 for sideloaded apps not from Play Store, F-Droid and maybe other stores. I ran into it with an apk from Github. Your error doesn't relate but installing from a file manager is a symptom. In any case, if you think this restriction could be part of your problem search ACCESS_RESTRICTED_SETTINGS for a possible workaround.
@Nnik345 here you can find an answer and imo you should ask related questions better here instead of opening a new thread.
