Hi everyone,
I already searched a bit on the web and xda but couldn't find an answer what the "intelligent Wifi switch" in the settings does.

Is it wifi roaming or switching to mobile Internet or something else?
It doesn't seem to be connected to the corresponding dev settings of Android and I haven't seen it on any other android device, yet, so I suppose it's oneplus specific.
I'm using Oxygen OS 4, but I also saw the setting in earlier OS versions.
Regards,
Djfe
Edit:
the text below it says:
Automatic switching to better connectivity, depending on Wi-Fi connectivity and signal strength
Click to collapse
but what is the "better connectivity" exactly?
it switces betwen mobile data and wifi connection (if wifi signal is too low it switches to mobile data to ensure a stable connection) as far as i know.
this "feature" was in marshmallow implemented as well
ok is it a different implementation from?:

Hi guys,
I'm having this weird bug for a long time. Basically, when I connect to my work Wi-Fi spot device starts to utilize the network very actively. It can be reproduced only when I connected to that specific Wi-Fi spot. I've been observing this issue on any ROM and kernel which I tried so far.
Looking forward to any tips\ suggestions that can help me to identify the culprit and get rid of it once and for good. Many thanks in advance.
P.S. please don't suggest avoid using Wi-Fi there =)

Could it be that IPv6 is enabled on that network/router?

As of now, I can see that the connection is established using IPv4.
"Internet may not be available" Error every time Android Auto wireless connects!
Hi,
I'm Currently using a S20 Ultra and have had this issue with wireless android auto for months now and I'm just getting tired of closing the error and if I accidently hit either "allow switch" or "stay connected" I have to forget the WIFI on my radio and reconnect to it.... because if I don't I can not receive any text's or calls because the WIFI signal at the top right corner has a exclamation mark next to it. I'm using a Pioneer AVIC W8400 NEX Radio. Has anyone had this issue with this error and know a fix around it?
Thanks,
Corey

Hi
I'm facing this issue, no mobile data during a call.
My mobile operator (Ho.mobile, in Italy, MVNO with Vodafone) has VOLTE and I have it active (with *#*#86583#*#* I have now in the settings).
I found someone saying to add a new APN with IMS that will disappear as soon as I save it, but it's still not working.
Any suggestion or anyone else having same issue?
I'm on 12.5.14 with Magisk root (no TWRP).
Thanks
I used the code *#*#4636#*#* and It seems that VOLTE Is not Active while in the settings Is Active (I used *#*#86583#*#* to activate that setting).
I cannot select ON in the Provisioning VOLTE.

If I do same thing with same SIM on my Poco X3 with Lineage Os 18.1 that value is ON.
what else can I check since I cannot call and use mobile data.
Thanks

How to resolve this. i already enabled the necessary functions at developer options and on the wifi menu, to no avail. need help thanks.
5G/4G signal is available, tried resetting wifi/BT/data settings. still no success
Yeah. It doesn't work like that. It just enables your phone to switch faster between them (in case of signal getting worse on one of them). I don't think any phone out there lets you pull from both antennas at the same time.

Samsung does
Samsung does only when downloading files (on my Galaxy Note 10+ at least).
Hi everyone, yesterday I had on option in the settings list to manage Data Usage and see the History for every app, now don't know why, it's gone, it was called "Data something". It was called different then the options in Mobile Network.
Also, the "Data traffic management" button doesn't work, from what I gathered, I think it needs the IManager app from Vivo, does anyone know what package do I need to reinstall?
Do you use other app to monitor Data Usage and prevent them from accesing the internet or the stock one?

I reinstalled com.iqoo.secure package and now the "Data Traffic Management" option works, it shows almost the same information as the option that disappeared, but the interfate is in different colors.
This will work for now.
