Guys I successfully installed HAVOC-OS located https://forum.xda-developers.com/project-treble/trebleenabled-device-development/gsi-havoc-os-t3930030. The steps I followed are mentioned below
1. Wipe everything except internal storage.
2. Flashed BRK3 Vendor https://mega.nz/#F!wFFQUYbI!GZvNOBSn1wVn8U9mQDzBiw!IQsjlYzA
2. Installed Endurance GSI kernel https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s9/samsung-galaxy-s9--s9-cross-device-development/kernel-endurance-kernel-v1-0-t3849434
3. Flashed the system image for ARM 64 A only
4. Boot system
5. Reboot to recovery and Flashed Mgisk
6. Gapps will fail to install at first. Just goto wipe -> Adv wipe -> system partition -> Resize. Reboot to recovery and flash Gapps
7. Reboot and enjoy
8. You can test other GSI Roms also and report. The thread is located at https://forum.xda-developers.com/project-treble/trebleenabled-device-development
Thanks buddy. I was looking for the ways to run the GSI. And the method works. Good job
thanks for the guide! im still on an unrooted s9, but if everything works ill definetly make the jump. Can you tell us more about stability, bugs and if there are things not working
So after testing the ROM for 2 days I can say that
1. It is very stable and can be used as a daily driver
2. Everything works, I am not sure about Bluetooth audio though, haven't checked it
3. It can be heavily customized. Unlike LOS, where we have only few of these features available
4. Battery life is the best I got using any other ROM out there (check the screens below). and I am the guy who gets 3 hrs of SOT, when others claimed 5+ hrs on the same ROM.
5. Security patch is latest even as compared to the TW ROMs
6. Regarding camera... Its the same as LOS pie. Use gcam by idan 3.5 fixed and you are good to go.

Yes it is
Thanks for trying this out. I'm only a few months in with my exynos S9 on android pie, so I haven't yet learned the details about rooting/recovery for this phone.
I'll wait for your next update regarding daily use, and would love a more detailed step-by-step for installation if that's not too much trouble. I'm honestly loving those screenshots.
How about IMEI, BRK3 Vendor safe..?
Ok here is the detailed tutorial on how to install a GSI rom
1. First you need to wipe everything in TWRP. Just like you do, when you clean flash any rom
2. Than install the BRK3 vendor. Link is provided by the OP. It's a flashable zip file so just flash it like any other zip.
3. Flash the Endurance GSI kernel. Link is in the OP.
4. Next, download the GSI rom from the link in the OP. Remember to download the ARM 64 A-only variant.
5. Extract the files and you should get a . Img file. Copy that in the SD card
6. In the TWRP, goto install. Select flash image from the bottom right corner of your screen. Now browse the image file, that you copied and choose system image and install.
7. Boot to the system and than boot back to the recovery.
8. Now flash the magisk
9. If you try to install gapps, it will give an error regarding space. So just goto wipe -> advance wipe > system repartition > resize
After resize, you will be able to install gapps.
Flash gapps, automatic brightness fix ( link in the rom thread), AOD fix ( link in the rom thread) and reboot.

Has anyone found a fix for getting stuck at the s9 logo?..wanting to move to GSI ROMs
I have tried this,
After flash GSI rom, reboot recovery, reboot system and I have bootloop with the first logo Galaxy S9. Can anybody please help me?
@arunrawat2112
Finally I was able to flash some roms but none of them work properly. Can you please help me?
I posted the original version of this guide in the Pixel Experience forum because I needed a way to recover the stock Oniichan kernel from the PE ROM after I had flashed other kernels over it, without first backing up my boot partition. This is because the latest Oniichan kernel isn’t posted online, unlike Genom, Predator, etc. This solution uses OrangeFox and can be applied to any ROM with minor modification.
The ROM file that you flashed to your phone should include a boot image file called boot.img which contains the kernel. So, we simply extract boot.img from the ROM and flash this image to the Android boot partition. This will replace the new kernel with the stock kernel from our ROM, after which we re-flash Magisk if we need root (no need to re-flash modules), and we should be back to stock. Here are the steps to restore your stock kernel:
1. Retrieve a copy of your current ROM zip file
2. Expand zip file and extract boot.img
3. Save boot.img to phone storage (e.g., SD card)
4. Reboot phone into OrangeFox recovery
5. Do OrangeFox backup of boot partition (e.g., to SD card)
6. Select the boot.img file and attempt to flash it normally
7. From choice of target partitions select “Boot”
8. Swipe right to install image as instructed
9. Flash should complete in 10-15 seconds
10. Re-flash Magisk to restore root if needed (no need to re-flash modules)
11. Reboot phone to system
12. In settings check kernel version to verify desired kernel was restored
FYI, you can use this method to extract the kernel from any ROM and flash it to your phone, but you should first verify that the new kernel is compatible with your current ROM before you flash it. Please let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!
thx
Thanks

This method work on A10?
Do you link for latest android 11 firmware that can be flashed through ofox recovery?
Hey, my 9 power has an NVT-TS touch panel. All android 11 based ROMs seem to work such as Pixel Blaster and Lineage. However, when we talk about Android 12, my touch seems to only work on Evolution X.
I tried installing PixelPlusUI and PixelOS, however my touch does not work in them. If I try installing a custom kernel with those two, the OS does not boot and the phone gets stuck on the Redmi boot logo.
I have tried many fixes from various threads but nothing seems to work.
Anybody with a workaround or suggestion?
Update: Only a previous version of EvoX works. The latest version does not boot.
Hi. What kernel and recovery did you used for a12 rom ? Can you put here links to twrp/kernel and roms used in process ? Thanks. I have the same model with nvt touch and nothing worked for me and now i'm back to stock miui 12.5.11 global.
I used PitchBlack Recovery but also tried 2 different TWRP and Orange Fox Recoveries. I tried flashing various kernels but none worked. In the end, the kernel within the evox rom itself had to be used.

Hi. What type of screen do you have ? Can you put the link here to download what rom you installed ? Thx.
I have the exact same type of screen than you, NVT-TS
I downloaded the rom from the official website of CrDroid : https://crdroid.net/juice/8
For the stock zip (step 11), i used this one : https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi...i_HMNote94G_HM9T_21.11.24_v12-11.zip/download
Btw, use crdroid 8.6 for juice. ATM 8.7 don’t work with touchscreen afaik. I did have to reinstall 8.6 after update

Thank you, crdroid 8.6 worked. However, I wanted to use ROMs like Pixel Experience and PixelPlus but they touch does not work on them.
Atm, PixelPlusUI or PixelExperience are A12 AOSP with integrated Gapps (probably others differences but no matter), use flamegapps to get full gapps package and there you go!
Atm, i tried a lot of roms, and with A12, only CrDroid8.6 works...
