OxygenOS 3.5.4 custom accent colors? - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

Hey guys!
I've already did some digging around and pretty much found nothing.
You see, on my previous phone with nearly stock Android I had an LPthemer app for xposed which allowed me to add a dark purple color for a primary and a violet color for accents. That's it. I like the look of stock Android with whites and stuff, it's just that I like violet over grayish blue.
And, I tried using Layers and similar apps, but it either does nothing or results in a bootloop.
So the question is - is there such thing as MMthemer? Or does anyone know a working Layers theme with desired colors?

Help creating a pure white theme

My idea is to create a high contrast white theme, with pure white notification bar and pure white menu popup, and all pure black icons. (i got inspired by HerrKuk's screenshot)
The reason for this is that we're on an lcd device (and black doesn't get black).
When being on the amoled nexus one, there was a strong urge to get everything as black as possible, where as on the O2x, white would be the most battery friendly..
Stock android 2.2 is leaning towards that, but i just do not like the greyishness of stock.
Try SiMi clock with black text and white background and you'll get an idea of the final look that I'm after..
But, the framework needs black text on notification bar to get this theme on stock or paul's rom. I do not know how to do that.
I guess from vanilla rom it would be a walk in the park because it would only need the gray png's tweaked to white, but the handy power widget control for the notification area is not in vanilla android, and I cannot live without it.
Can anybody help me out by either porting power control to vanilla rom, or by changing the framework text on paul's rom to black?
That would be awesome

lol, 18 months ago we were working out how to change the text to white to use with black notification bars on stock Android...
It can be done, you need to make changes in framework-res.apk xml and services.jar code.
Know how to use apktool (here and here) and smali/baksmali (here)? That's where you need to start.
Once you've got that I can show you where... you'll need these skills if you want to do deep theming anyway.
Sounds great!

Cheers mate, I'll look into it and see if I can get my head around it..
I would like those skills, I just need the time to learn them..
Since I'm impatient I will do up an simple version based off the vanilla rom to start with, and then see if I can do the xml and jar edits for the black bar later

Team Black Hat Boot Logo

This is a well known issue among other forums but I havent seen any answer or fix to it yet.
When you create a boot logo to apply via the TBH app, it flips blues and reds around.
If I wanted a blue logo, this wouldnt be a problem because I could just make it red and have it come out whatever shade of blue.
Red, however, when it gets flipped from a blue that isn't the perfect hue of blue, it comes out in a weird orange color that I definitely don't want.
Has anyone here seen a fix for this somewhere?

That is the way the phone works, has nothing to do with the toolbox or any creation of the logo...invert the colors and all will be ok.

Someone posted somewhere that they tried inverting colors and that didn't work...
I'll try it for myself tomorrow.
On my DroidX I added the boot logo manually and I had to flip the image itself as well as the hex coding for the image. I guess inverting colors would be the Bionic equivalent to that procedure...
Inverting the colors didn't work.
I'm trying to make everything have a red glow.
I tried making it blue to it would change to red, and i got this weird orange color (Do you know the exact code for the blue that inverts to Red?)
I tried making it red, then inverting, and i got a nasty green/yellow color.

[Q] Black on White framework

During the last days, i tried to create a general 'light framework' which changes color from white on black to black on white (like in MIUI or IOS) in System Settings and all Apps which use the standard framework. By 'general' i mean, that the idea is, that this framework could be used in themes or standalone. Anyway, couldn't get it to work until now. As templates i tried to use files from this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1228922
Don't get me wrong, i don't want to have an IOS framework, but a general template for a black on white layout.
I know that this question has been asked before, but obviously there is no solution yet. But maybe there's a new chance with the files from the ROM mentioned above.
Any ideas from a more experienced themer than me ?
thanx, lagloose
i am not sure if this means anything to you but there is something like that

and i am really bored from white on black menus, looking for black on white other than miui.

really amazing! THX!!!
Edit: ok, i tried the newest one of your themes.
Unfortunately, there is a little problem getting system notification requesters with it.
Some of them will have black font on nearly dark grey backgrounds.
BTW: Theme Editor works good for EMUI 5.
It is a problem notifications of individual applications. Some have white font, some black font. The bubble is therefore gray, both fonts can be read.
BTW, I dont create the themes in the application Theme Editor, I create them manually.

ok,ok.. thx for the next build.
but for future builds, i recommend to use up counting version numbers! Like 5.01 -> v5.02 a.s.o.
Otherwise we will get different download links without possibility to see which version it is.
The theme is available at the Playstore now:

I was looking for a black emui theme, and yours is the first that i accepted on my device.
Your Total Eclipse theme (to support) was a shure buy, but i don't like it because it has no color .
Can you make a second one with same color as Pure Dark 5?
In the past i tried a black and white theme and found out that when used in sunny light i had very hard time seeing what i was doing. And because of this past experience I avoid to test another black and white/gray theme on my device. I like the green neon color of your pure dark 5.0 theme..
so i ask again : Can you do a Eclipse theme but with green neon color???
@hanniSK Just wanted to thank you for the Pure Dark 5.0 theme. Good job.

Pitch black theme on Adroid 12?

Hello.
I wonder - is it even possible to have literally pitch black theme all over the interface of Android 12? I mean trully black, not black-ish or gray, but with preserved colors that will be chosen by me during setup of the theme and the chosen colors will be aplied only to the quick settings icons.
Repainter works great combined with Flux Substratum theme, but there is a problem - accent color is also applied to the dialer app (see screenshots) which in effect makes the whole thing not black.
Almost forgot: Swift Installer is not supported yet on Android 12.
My phone is running stock ROM, but bootloader is unlocked and phone is rooted.
Is there any satisfactory solution to this? I must admit that I miss it a lot
