Means you damaged your phone, you are sol.
Sent from my BLU ENERGY X PLUS using Tapatalk
By any chance are you on the Amazon variant v6.6? If yes then that is why as the update has patched the preloader to break SPFT

Im not sure what that code is. I didnt see it in the lists of errors i find. But what restore are you tring to do.
Just a few details might help. Does the phone boot up now. What happened that you need to restore from?
And if the restore is from the 6.6 update, as of now, there is nkt a roll back yet. Unless your bootloader is unlocked. If unlocked i have rolled back my phone three times testing and one other users phone also. If locked will need to wait till root is abailable.

If you are on prime update 6.6 or newer then that message is because the preloader has been replaced by Blu the purposefully block sp flash tool.
There is a thread for getting around it for v6.6
http://forum.xda-developers.com/r1-hd/how-to/blu-r1-hd-v6-6-dirtycowed-f-amazon-root-t3490882
There has not been any confirmation if it works on V7.4.1, but it "might work".
You know rooting is done at your own risk and help may be available to fix or may not, that is the risk assumed when making root.

hi i'm also having a spft issuse during flash
S_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTINGS_FAIL(0x13BE)
any solutions?Look in Settings->About device->Custom build version and tell us what it is. Someone posted that the phones currently shipping from Amazon are coming with version 8.x which can not be rooted or flashed. If it is 8.x then your phone has been updated and SP Flash Tool can NOT work with it.
plug out your battery, wait 10-15 second and try again. works for me

What version of the ROM do you have? If your phone has been updated over-the-air then SP Flash Tool can no longer be used and the phone cannot be bootloader unlocked or rooted.

Blu has modified the preloader.bin so that it no longer works with sp_flash tool.
Sorry at this point we do not have root solution for devices over v7.4.2 on the prime line and above v17 on non-prime line of R1-HD

First off, you will need to find a group or thread for your device. This thread is related to a different device, so not likely to help you much here.
But if you have an unlocked bootloader, then you "should not" need to use sp flash tool. Just us fastboot flash. But really find some info for your device specifically.
Hello guys!
I have bricked my P9 EVA-L09 today. i want to update it to android 7 with update from erecovery. i put files from update_data_full_hw_eu.zip and it went good but phone wont boot up and the second file "update.zip" ive extracted to dload but phone cant install it. I've tried many things to unbrick my phone but i cant do it. flashing system via fastboot is impossible cause it says that it cant be written. i have no root ant no bootloader unlocked. Please help me guys QQ
If you have C432, try this:
1. install via sdcard + 3buttons UPDATE.app from HUAWEI_P9_Rollback Package_EVA-L19_from Android 7.0_EMUI 5.0_to Android 6.0_EMUI 4.1_C900B300
2. install via sdcard + 3 buttons HUAWEI_P9_Firmware_EVA-L09_Android 6.0_EMUI 4.1.1_C432B182_Western Europe

try installing 6.0 firmware for you model.
i cant go to eRecovery, i cant even shut down device - only full discharge can make it.But i can go to fastboot. Ive tried with fastboot commands but i have locked bootloader and every time my flashes are rejected by phone. The simpliest metod - HiSuite send me message: "no recovery packages are found for your phone model". It should be a way to unbrick it with fastboot but i dont know how.
Hi I was in your shoes yesterday I had to pay for the dn Phoenix to fix my phone it uses a backdoor to install firmware from fastboot

I will try to send my Huawei to warranty service and if they wont repair my phone ill pay for DC Phoenix too
I had the same problem!
Hi there.
Was in the same situation as you not so long ago.
Get a micro SD card, plug into PC, create a dload folder then download the rollback file from the Huawei website.
I'm a new user so can't post URL. Just Google "Huawei P9 rollback" should be the 2nd option (consumer.huawei link)
Put in the dload folder and put into your P9.
Press and hold power, vol up and down together till the Huawei logo appears and let go when you feel the vibrate.
This should force update and restart. (does not rollback to email 4.1, only unlocks the rollback from emui 5)
Next you need to download your previous firmware, in my case I'm in the UK with unlocked P9, so I downloaded EVA-L09C432B166.
Same again, put micro SD into PC, delete the rollback file and put your firmware in its place.
Put back in the P9 and repeat the above force update.
This will put you back to working stable stock.
For further reassurance, download a build previous to B166 so when it's up and running you can search for an OTA update to make sure all is in order.
Hope this helps.
Did you meant that the rollback flashes without going to eRecovery? I said some posts earlier that i cannot enter eRecovery so i cant dload anything. Im stuck on Huawei logo all the time do you think than i can flash something via dload without going to eRecovery?
erecovery is different.
I'm saying to do a force update, but in order to do so you need a microSD card.
Erecovery involves holding power up while connecting to PC in order to use HiSuite etc to recover.
Force updater tells the phone to search for dload folder on SD card or phone and install the update before trying to boot up OS.
So, if you connect microSD to your PC via a card reader etc and not via your phone, you can create a dload folder, download the rollback file from Huawei (above) the file is only around 80mb or so, plug the SD card back into your phone while powered off, hold down Power + vol up + vol down. The Huawei logo will appear, when it disappears let go of all the buttons. This should bring up the Update screen.
At this point the phone will install the rollback file. and this will bypass the rollback prevention in emui 5 and therefore allow you to install a previous emui build (4.1)
Again though your phone will still not boot at this point as there is no OS working or installed.
So you need to download the corresponding firmware for your phone/country/operator. Once downloaded, remove the memory card from the phone, connect to PC via card reader, delete the rollback file you placed in the dload folder and replace it with the downloaded OS and repeat the process used to install the rollback.
From there you should be back to stock marshmallow.
I should point out the files you download may be in zip folders. You need to extract the "update" file and that's what you place in the dload folder.
Hope this all makes sense, if not I can make a YouTube video and post it.
Good luck.
Now i know what did you mean, but sadly i cant update it too. I tried with my friend's P9 and when i hold these 3 buttons then shows special update screen and in my P9 it doesnt probably because of my bad flash rollback for P9 EVA-L19 and i have EVA-L09 model
http://www.android-hilfe.de/thema/downgrade-von-b360-zurueck-auf-b182.813366/
You must first make a step.
Only http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=92743&version=363740&siteCode=de
Then
http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=91783&version=358257&siteCode=de
're After You on MM and then can do what you want.
In the first link is a guide.
I did the same thing is what you doing today I've tried this and it fixed my phone

The rollback package for L09 model is here: http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=91892&version=363759&siteCode=es
Inform the results please.
I made a video to better understand. This wideo is showing that phone isn't searching any dload folder. https://youtu.be/oD9AI_6SqLs
edit: i have tried your advices to put rollback and try to dload it and then same with firmware but there is no reaction i didnt see there any circle with progress of flashing (like it was before i flashed rollback for L19)
Mine is now doing the exact same thing - I too tried the dload method to update from C432B182 to C432B361 and it's screwed my device up too.
Until I tried to use the 'rollback' package, it would at least allow me to power off, so I could get back into the Update screen - after doing that, and trying the B182 again, it's got into this position where I can do literally nothing with it. No combination of buttons, no matter how long I try to hold them, seems to do anything.
An update...
After letting my battery drain completely, I have been able to get into Fastboot mode, by pressing and holding the Volume Down button whilst connecting a USB cable to my PC.
From here, I have been able to run DC-Phoenix, and have been able to write some .APP files to it - which has at the very least got it booting into eRecovery, rather than the boot loop it had before, but is still not fully booting.
It looks like I might need the full, original firmware, in order to proceed?
And I've got about 68 hours left to flash using DC-Phoenix, or I'll have to spend another €15!
Yes you download the original firmware unzip it and put it in the "dload" folder of SD card then do a force update. Hold all the buttons vol + vol - and power
Hello,
I unlocked my bootloader,
installed twrp (this version ->),
tried to install CM13, but failed because of failed to mount /data
fixed that by formatting data
tried again to install CM13 but it still didn't work, because failed to mount /system
i gave up and did a restart just to realise that there is no system anymore i was stuck in a bootloop,
i decided to go back to Stock and used fastboot to install stock recovery for MM using SRK Tool,
choose to relock my bootloader and after the process it said "the device will now restart to perform a factory reset"
since then i'm stuck at the Huawei Logo (i think my device is stuck because it tries to enter the rom to perform the factory reset but there is nothing it can enter so it's stuck),
i tried to enter fastboot mode but it didn't work,
i can't even turn off my phone because every time i hold the Powerkey the phone just restarts
right now i'm downloading the ROM dload file and hope this will help me.
do you have any ideas/thoughts about this, do i have any chance to save my device ?
EVA-L09
was running emui 5 (B361 i think?)
Dload didn't work nothing happend.... is there anyway huawei will repair this ? if yes how much will it cost ? is there a chance they will repair it (warranty) even tho it was my fault, if i don't tell them what i did and play dumb?
If you power off the phone, and then press and hold the Volume Down key, THEN plug in the USB cable (attached to a PC), does this enter Fastboot mode? (white screen with Android logo)

No that doesn't work,
i now leave it on to run out of battery and then i try it again.
Yes - let it go completely flat.
Then, press and hold the Volume Down key, and plug the USB cable in. Once you're at this stage, you can use DC-Phoenix to update the firmware. Once this is successfully done, you then power the phone off, press and hold both volume buttons, and re-connect the USB. This puts it into Upgrade mode, and you can use DC-Phoenix again in Upgrade Mode to write the same firmware to it. Once you have done this, you should hopefully have restored your phone.
You may need to go back to an earlier firmware, such as B136, then go through the upgrade path again, if it does not work with B361.
thanks i will try this
it worked ! i unlocked the bootloader again and i tried to install different version of the Stock ROM (b182,b300,b361) i was able to flash b182 and B361 without errors by flashing system, recovery and boot.img but my phone always boots into erecovery and i have no clue why ?
I was in a similar position - until I did the steps I noted with DC-Phoenix.
You don't need to mess around with unlocking the bootloader by using DC-Phoenix.
what is so special about DC-Phoenix and why does this cost 15 Euros for 72 Hours ???

hello guys
i have a serious problem here
this is what happen to my P9 when i try to unlock/root/install twrp
first i used SRK long chod v2.0 tool
the first step i do is unlock the bootloader and yes i can say it works
i unlock the FRP and Bootloader
then i proceed to the next target. installing the twrp recovery
i try so the twrp version inside the SRK tool
but doesnt work then i look some version from
official twrp website , same again does not work either
so i skip that part , and stop going further in order to
back my phone to unvoid the warranty
there is an option in SRK tool which you can relock your bootloader again
so i did relock my bootloader and after rebooting the system
boot stuck appears
no fastboot/no recovery/no system
even the key combination does not
work like forced update via sdcard/dload/update.app
i have no idea what to do now
but i read the thread from SCRAFI
that he used the DC Phoenix and
resurrect his bricked P9
i want to try that solution but i have a problem on that
i cant buy credits for 15 euros i dont have
any e-payment online like paypal bankcards/debit
because before you can use the dc phoenix tool
you are required to login your reserve account
for able to use it. and that is why im so hopeless that
i can ressurect my phone again
please help
please give me some account login for dc phoenix
and promise to bring back the 15 euros via

I know this is very necro, but I've come to encounter the same problem. However my situation is weirder. I did very similar steps: wanted to go to stock and used SRK Toolkit to flash the recovery and relock the bootloader, I'm guessing it was not the correct twrp version for my current os. I should state that I don't understand anything about how huawei works... by now I just want the damn thing to boot . My situation is that the phone vibrates and displays the huawei bootlogo and then hangs. I've let the battery die and then do the Vol- + Usb thing but it doesn't give a f***. It just keeps going to the huawei logo. I've already ordered a pentalobe screwdriver on amazon to try and disconnect the battery cable...maybe it'll make a difference, since its kinda sketchy to try to let it die but no so much that it won't even boot and just shows the charging icon... ***fingers crossed*** anyways if someone has any hints I'd aprecciate it. Wish me luck, cheers
Edit: today, 3 days later, I re-tried to enter fastboot with vol - and usb in pc and IT WORKED!! unlocked the bootloader and now everything is fine.
Will i void my warranty if i updated my OS using the huawei updater alongside with HiSuite?

Hi, Where did you get this procedure? Would like to read the original thread. Thanks.

No, your warranty will remain. You only lose it, when you unlock your bootloader.
I have a P9 EVA-L19 and I followed this process but the phone keeps on failing to verify the updater package. My current build is EVA-L19C636B190.
Am I missing something?

I finally managed to update my P9 EVA-L19C636B190 to Nougat. On the Huawei Updater I used this link http:*//*update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1256/g104/v73917/f1/ (take the * in between out of the link). After the download the verification was fine and now I am running EMUI 5.0 without any issue.
Source: http:*//*club.huawei.com/thread-11960705-1-1.html (same as before, take the * in between out of the link)
I hope I can help you.
Best regards.
Please help. I managed to install the update only upto 60% then it failed. Now my phone is stuck in a bootloop. I already tried to restart my phone by holding the power key for a while. Then I turn it back on by pressing the vol up key and power in my hopes of restoring the phone to its factory setting using the built in recovery of the phone but it failed. While on Huawei eRecovery, it can still connect to wifi but after a few seconds of trying to connect to server, it says "Getting package info failed."
I also tried to use the system recovery of Huawei HiSuite(v5) but it says that my phone is not supported for system recovery. By the way, my phone is Huawei P9 EVA-L19C636B190. The firmware that i tried to flash was EVA-L19C636B361.
Is there anything else that I can do?

Use Dc Phoenix to unbrick it.

Finally! I was able to fix my Huawei P9 by flashing EVA-L19C636B168. I extracted the update.zip file and copied the UPDATE.APP in mini SD card inside dload folder using my computer. My phone got error at 99% during update so I got worried for a bit. I restarted the phone and it seemed like everything is working fine (I hope so). I've been using this phone for several hours now and I haven't encountered any issues so far.
To those who are still having the same issue, this might work for you. Don't give up because there is still hope.
HiSuite doesn't work anymore with this proxy settings. Keep saying no internet connection available even you turn off any firewall.
Hey guys,
This is a bit of a long one so please bear with me...
I have an EU EVA-L09 which was running EVA-L09C432B166 unrooted and with a locked bootloader. I decided to unlock it which I did successfully (Fastboot was showing both Phone & FRP as unlocked) and flashed TWRP on to it as well as BETA-SuperSU-v2.65.
After a few days with my stock email app not working and Battery Settings unaccessable since rooting (not to mention the warning message every time I booted my phone) I decided it wasn't worth it and wanted to remove it all and go back to stock. I was struggling to find a stock rom due to being impatient and just removed root via SuperSU app on my phone.
I found a stock recovery image which I tried to flash on to the phone using the BAT file (PASO 3 VOLVER A RECOVERY STOCK) which didn't seem to work. I also tried to do it via cmd line and was faced with "FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)." I also noticed that FRP was showing as locked now in fastboot. I did unlock it using DC Unlocker but it's still displaying as locked (after some research on the forum this seems normal.)
I tried to update to Nougat 7.0 by Wiping in TWRP and then installing Update.zip from another thread on this forum. This worked great but stupidly I forgot to install the EU pack zip which accompanied it before rebooting. Unfortunately this has now installed a limited version of Nougat on to the phone whilst simultaneously removing TWRP so I can't install the other zip.
I have tried to install the other zip and some old firmware using dload method but I always get stuck on 5%. I have also tried flashing TWRP again but I am facing the same , ""FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)" error. The error is also displayed when I try to re-lock the bootloader. The bootloader is definitely unlocked as I have checked with cmd line & the warning message is still being displayed on booting up. I have USB debugging enabled but am unable to enable OEM Unlock due to the option being greyed out (seems to be the case when FRP is unlocked.)
I can't do any updates using 3 button technique they all get stuck on 5%. I can't submit any flash commands in cmd.exe without getting the "command not allowed error."
There is a bit of hope because I can boot in to Nougat but it's very limited with no apps and no keyboard.
Can anybody help?

Hey @jcalderonv74 thank you for the response. I have just re-tried to do that on your suggestion and with the intermediate UPDATE.app in the dload folder on my external SD I get to the stage of the 3 button start up as per the instructions and Installing Update gets stuck on 5%.
I have noticed I do have access to stock recovery using "adb reboot recovery" command.
Any more ideas?

Hi, yeah I did use the rollback package @xtcislove and it would just get stuck on 5% using the dload method, and trying to flash it in command line would result in "Command not allowed".

Ok just for completion and anybody who is having the same issues as I have had with the same or similar model of P9, this is how I solved it (after a day without sleep and a couple of migraines). Please note this is only to be used if you have exhausted all other, free options on this forum as this is slightly risky and costs money. It's a last resort.
What you'll need:
- HiSuite installed but closed on your PC
- USB cable to connect phone to PC
- DC-Phoenix with an account with 15 credits (15 Euro)
- The DC-Phoenix guide opened at "Method 2"
- Firmware .img file from their database by clicking "Enter Support Area" button in DC-Phoenix (EVA-AL10_M00A056_Factory_firmware_Global_Nonspecific_Android_6.0_EMUI_4.1.dgtks)
- Stock firmware as an .app file on an SDCard in a folder named "dload" (I used EVA-L09C432B182 (UPDATE.APP))
Method:
1. Copy the official stock firmware .app file to your SDCard inside a folder named "dload".
2. Remove SDCard & Sim Card from the phone.
3. Put your phone in to Fastboot (Turn off phone, hold volume(down), insert usb cable).
4. Load DC-Phoenix and select Fastboot mode.
5. Click "IMG Files" tab and locate the .dgtks file using the "Config or recovery file:" field.
6. DO NOT uncheck the boxes next to "Not erase NV" and "Not erase oeminfo" as this will delete your IMEI and other information completely.
7. Click UPDATE and wait for it to fully finish (you may see an error regarding FBlocks but it should still go on to complete).
8. Once you see it is completed, disconnect phone from PC and restart the phone by holding the power button.
9. This should load you in to a very basic firmware (it may take one or two reboots to achieve this).
10. Insert your SDCard with the newer, official, stock firmware that you want on the phone in to the SDCard slot WITHOUT SimCard.
11. On your phone home you should see an icon named "Upgrade" or "Upgrade/Update Phone" on the first page. (I've forgotten the exact name of the icon but it will be obvious to you).
12. Click that icon and it should go ahead and install the firmware .app on to the phone off your SDCard.
After following the on screen instructions you should now be back to stock firmware. I recommend re-locking your bootloader now using fastboot and your unlock key if you are trying to do so. If you go on to update to Nougat 7.0 before locking your bootloader back up you won't be able to do so without downgrading back to the same firmware that was on your phone when you originally unlocked it.)
Hope this helps somebody who is stuck and exhausted every other avenue with nothing left to lose.
Danny
I had a similar issue after doing this :- unlock bootloader...root MM....Upgrade to Nougat...root...Rollback to MM...root...Upgrade to Nougat.. borked!!!
I was left with a phone that only booted to bootloader and no recovery or possibility of flashing with dload worked.
Luckily DC Phoenix got it into a usable state where i could enter erecovery and flash Nougat again. Seems the backdoor method they use to load the OS, at least at a low level, is very effective!
There's probably a lesson here, but I've never had a phone so easily bricked....
Thanks :good:
Peace
