Problem with vibration - Lenovo Zuk Z2 Pro Questions & Answers

My zuk z2 pro is without vibration, it does not vibrate nor to turn on, I was using mokee when this begun, I changed my rom but it still the same and I don't know how to solve it. Is it problem with the phone or kernel?

It is common bug on most ROMS. One of the workaround is to switch on/off the game controller option to bring vibration back on

had the same problem - in no custom rom vibration was working even when I went back to stock 1.9 like I read in the lenovo forum. The trick was to flash 1.9 with Qfil and then OTA to 2.3. There's an auto. check about vibriation in 2.3 afterwards it worked flawlessly. DO NOT FLASH 2.3 via Qfil like I did the first time. Vibration did then not come back.

Same problem , full vibration dead in all roms and game controler is GONE too , HELP guyz PLEASE

I tried a lot! And today I know this is the only way to get your Z2 Pro to vibrate. All you need is to flash 1.9 and OTA to 2.3!
You get following Message: "Vibration-check failure, please shutdown your phone and restart it after 15 seconds." Or so similar..
And after that, your phone finally vibrate!!

It means that you have to flash via Qfil the original firmware version 1.9 and later auto update via Over The Air (OTA) to system version 2.3.

Default action. Only rotates when attached to charger

Same problem but all my sensors show pass via *#0*# sensor checks. Tried nordic i9505 I9505XXUFNB9_I9505NEEFNB2_I9505XXUFNB9_HOME.tar 4.4.2, then SIngapore I9505XXUFNBE_I9505OLBFNB3_I9505XXUFNBE_HOME.tar 4.4.2 all the fken same problem. Screen rotation all fine when I flash firmware, root, then flash CWM touch - everything good. Screen rotate works until the first reboot after all of this which might even be a day or 2 later. As soon as reboot phone, screen rotation dies and it is a huge pain in the arse. Sensors continue to say pass via *#0*#. Every few days i have to re-flash firmware, re-root, then re-CWM touch, no need to factory reset just those 3 steps. Has anyone got any solutions for this yet??

xposed not working

Hello all
I have problem withe the xposed app after installing the
Framework it say not active
I reboot the phone many times but still not working
you have to use a special version for xperia devices go to xposed original post and you can download from there

[Q] Recovery has Disappeared

hi guys, i have a slight problem, after flashing the 4.3 software and going through the whole process of rooting and installing cwm.. my recovery was working fine for a couple days and then i went to flash something and suddenly my recovery has disappeared. What should i do? my bootloader is locked. How can i instal cwm on 4.3 Locked Bootloader??
any ideas????

When i turn on the wifi nothing happens, dont turn on, just on 3g, yesterday worked fine but today no, i tried to reboot, i dont want to lose my data
Yesterday i flashed a kernel, but i returned with the previous kernel with a backup, if that helps

lenovo k4 note [Marshmallow] [Android 6.0] [S232][OTA]

Here are the OTA links of Marshmallow updates for Lenovo k4 note (3gb RAM). To update your phone to Marshmallow ,the minimum requirement is that you should be on S152 update ,which is the last update for lollipop..
Warning:

yes considering the number of threads being created and updated each day. It's difficult to follow up. 1 lakh+ k4 users deserves a dedicated section.

Pros :
1) Applock added in settings
2) Microscreen option is added
And else everything is same as S203
Bugs:
1) Data connection turns on automatically after every reboot or simple start up.
2) Fingerprints not working in new applock option
3) Reboot sometimes doesn't work..

For some reason incremental update failed for me form s203 to s204. Downloading the full s152 to s205 update now. Let's see how it goes.
Btw, anyone rooted this firmware?
Can someone tell me how to update from S202 to S204/5? I do not want to download 1.5 GB update.

Bug fixes in S205 update
1) Fingerprint in applock will start working after two or three factory resests.. but must do factory reset through recovery.. their is clear data option in recovery instead of factory reset.. so use that clear data option..
2) Reboot is also working fine after this reset process
3) For data connection automatically turning on issue ,their is no permanent solution but you can turn on airplane mode just before you reboot or shutdown your phone..

And one more thing ,, I updated my phone from S152 to S205 directly.. so i used the original English language recovery to reset my phone..
To reset through recovery follow these steps:
After installing update of S205 from S152 .. when installing completes don't click reboot button.. just press back button and do clear data two times and then reboot.. i this way my fingerprint starts working in applock..
Beware through reset you will loose all your data in internal storage.. so must copy your important data before reset..
