Hello everybody!
I can't find any answer in the internet for this question, so I need for your help. I tried proxy method, huawei updater, dload method, but it can't installed the update.
What can I do for install EMUI 5 to my phone?
P.s: Sorry for bad English, I'm a beginner.
dont know what you did with your phone, but for my EVA-L19C432B210 i got update to EVA-L19C432B386 with no problems using standart phone updater.
there can be problems if you unlocked bootloader /rooted your phone, someone say, you never will get updates, but on rooted phone i got updates too.
you can dload method downgrade your version to B136 files here
dont wory that there is EVA-L09, its works for EVA-L19 too, for me it was all my problems solver!
@spatrikwdb
did you manage to update your phone with eva-l19c432b210 to Android 7.0/EMUI 5.0?
Edit: removed.

Install b182 (still MM) and you should then receive OTA upgrades to b38x, b39x (Nougat)

I still don't understand why you don't 'like' OTAs. In System Update, Settings, you can always choose Full Update instead of default Differential. And you can force afterwards Factory Reset if you think you need.
b386 is the last flashable by DLOAD. Btw, I was going back and forth through diff stock and rooted and custom ROMs, rollbacks, OTAs, and never had any error in installations. There are many threads with excellent info and guides, you must read and follow because in diff situations methods might be different. DLOAD is not always applicable
Hi there
I'm on B361 (oreo) and like to update to B367 (approved for my model).
As HFF does not work anymore, can I put the UPDATE.APP in dload folder ? I saw in other sites that dload is not good for full package ... Huawei is so confusing...
Thx
Try this https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/development/tool-flash-official-firmware-recovery-t3769279 . For me worked

Thank you. I saw this thread but I'd like to update without installing twrp...
I had it in the past but huawei is such a mess and twrp/root so risky that I prefer to stay stock.
I think I have to force the update because huawei does not like phones used in country different than the one where it was bought. One more boring thing with huawei. I don't have such problems with samsung.
Huawei stopped support(Bootloader Unlock). How can I root now??
P8 lite PRA-LX1
Please help

You can unlock bootloader with DC Unlocker but you need to pay 4 Euro
I updated using HuRupdater. Strange is that I downloaded B367 and in phone settings it shows B369....
One more strange thing in the huawei updates management way ...
hi i bought a l09 years ago and tried to root it and use custom firmware
this was not the succes i was counting on, so i rolled back a update.app
this worked fine but i kinda screwed it up, first i had emui 5.0 on it
but i managed to roll a b182 on it with emui 4.1.1,
i don't know how i did it or what my original software was but i can't find any update.app that will update it to 5.0 without an error
if any of you know how i can roll a 5.0 or higher on my phone i would cherish you always

b182 - this is not complete build name
Look into Settings / About and provide the full name/number of your build, like EVA-L09c900b182 or so
If your cust is c900 (as in my example), there are will be no updates
You must rebrand to c432 tpo get Nougat updates
Hello everybody,
Can i downgrade my P30 pro vog-l29(c815) form Android 10 To Android 9?? Using OTG dongle (recovery mode) , considering that i have the Firmware.
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Later Edit:
I have successfully managed and figured out how to downgrade using Hisuite for PC.
I was on EMUI 10.0.0.90 (this is the last Ota update I have received, in order to get the (switch to earlier version button) I downgraded my EMUI FROM 10.0.0.90 to EMUI 10.0.0.186 USING dload, after that I enabled hdb and installed Hisuite on my mobile and checked firmware update button through it, and boom now I got two buttons, Update to EMUI 10.0.0.90 Again which I don't want to and switch to an earlier version which I did and successfully downgraded to EMUI 9.1.0.244 (android 9).
I wanted to downgrade since EMUI 10 has a bad performance and random ridiculous freezing issues almost in every app with no reasons, now I'm Enjoying my phone once again XD.
Conclusion: If you are on latest firmware update you won't be able to get the switch to an earlier version button on PC Hisuite, Insteadly you will need to downgrade to any previous EMUI 10 versions before you can downgrade to EMUI 9.
Happy downgrading to you all.
You can downgrade through Hisuite don't need any dongle.Just install Huawei hi suite in pc and you can do it from there 100% official

Hi m8,
You can't downgrade to EMUI 9.1 using dload firmware, you will get yourself a softbricked device. The only way is to use HiSuite PC version. If you can't find the Switch to other version, may i ask you how did you get EMUI 10 on your device? Did you used the firmware from other cust and also used a bypass method, like renaming all zips to update? Or other method?
Later edit: are you sure your cust is C815 and not C185?

Glad you sorted out. That's what i was going to reccomend you when you would confirm me that your cust is C185 or C815 ?. HiSuite is offering the downgrade option but not always from latest, therefore the need to downgrade to a previous version.
Don't forget to disable AUTO updates from Developer Options, otherwise you will be prompted to update to EMUI 10 and guess that it will auto download the firmware and maybe it will install it by itself

I've replied you on my dload firmware thread. Use dload firmware from my OP, downgrade to v190, then connect your device to HiSuite and check for an update. There it will be the option to return to EMUI 9.1.0.260. Be aware that using dload and HiSuite to downgrade will wipe clean your phone's data ?

take a look at this link:
https://www.pkrom.net/2021/07/vog-l29-c185-downgrade-from-1000-to-910.html.
You need an OTG cable, usb formatted pen drive.

You will lose the fast charge. There is also a procedure to restore it with the harmony cable on aliexpress
