I'm sorry, but you are not the creator of this rom. In the last couple of days you asked some respected developers like fevax and jesec to release a MIUI-rom, and they showed no interest in doing so. Which is also very understandable, because they need to get a solid bugfree base first.

Dude you did this with my LegionOS builds and you created a ton of trouble for me with users *****ing when I knew damn well what the issues are. If you do this again, I am pretty damn sure you will be banned from XDA because you will piss off the main developers to where they end their projects. So before you get on anyone else's ****list besides mine think twice.

What's not working -
WiFi- Once turned on, the device goes into bootloop. The only way to come out of it is wipe data from recovery.
Bluetooth- "Bluetooth share has stopped" messages annoy a lot. Just delete Bluetooth from /system/app
Video H/W decoder- Use 3rd party apps like MX Player and use S/W decoder in them

In case you haven't noticed, there is already a thread owned by me for the same thing. I don't see any effort in fixing anything which is broken but just a recompiled ROM.
Either way this is not allowed on XDA, i.e taking over something which is already being maintained by someone else without a permission.
I suggest you take down your build and get the thread locked.

Actually this is not true. There can be many unofficial CM ROMs in one section. The only issue would be if this ROM uses something of yours without permission which you have not allowed anyone else to use.
Those things would be covered under rule 12.
Other than that we encourage development and developers to work together to make all work better and more stable.

I think it must be kitkat, as I saw no Marshmallow based MIUI 8 for MT6582, so I don't think that could be ported. Still let OP answer and clear or maybe we have to flash and find
Still according to bugs section, 3G doesn't work on SIM2, maybe Sim 2 works for calling and other stuff. May this rom get ultra smooth over time

All MIUI look same (atleast on my friend's Mi4 running kitkat or marshmallow MIUI) so no issues.
And I don't know what more features Marshmallow MIUI8 has over kitkat. Googling didn't helped. Maybe doze

Lemme ask my friend I have mentioned that I have given ROM to my friend for testing who have karbonn sparkle v. Now what he said to me I have just written on the page. If you can fix that error so do that cuz my ROM should work correctly on this mobile cuz theres no chance of failure. So check that plz. And I will ask my friend how he made ROM work.

i fixed it in 7.3.31 and dual sim audio works well in that version.Do you have any solution about the second sim data connection?

To my knowledge the AT&T s7 edge has a locked bootloader as of know it can only be rooted. So no it won't load unless someone has figured out how to get twrp on our variant.

- Hopefully fixed the biggest deal breaker for selfie whiners, front camera, however, since there are 3 different front camera models for this device, let me know if there are problems, and if so, your specific camera model;
- New media encoding libraries, should be way faster to generate encoded multimedia files - this doesn't affect pictures, only videos and audio;
- New BT libraries;
- Applied patch as indicated by our great friend, Raziel. People with two SIMs should be good now;
- Miracast now should be working out of the box;
- Bad same thing: A-GPS isn't as simple as I initially imagined, I'll leave it the way it is for now, so keep it in device only mode;
27/04:
- Blobs from 8.2.4.0;
- Hardware GPS completely fixed (keep it in Device Only mode): High Accuracy or Battery Savings do work properly, but Google Services creates a wakelock requesting position all the time. Not really fixable at this point, and not anymore a priority, next will be front camera;
- Removed a bunch of useless stuff;
- Deep sleeping even better than before;
Me and Raziel are taking over msdx's and Ahnik's work, which are awesome developers, but are probably working on other devices for now. Once they come back, I will let go off of it, since they are way better developers than myself.

I don't know if you did but msdx was constantly merging the new releases from codeaurora here:

It may be a good idea to continue. Just something to consider.
Hopefully the sources can be released and worked on in the open, as msdx321 and Anik1199 did. Maybe rebranch on markw-dev repository?

I'm not the developer, so I don't know the reason, but if people don't wanna download it it's their problem. I'm happy just to have the ROM, I don't really care about the hosting site.

yes but depositfiles is not good, you have to wait to downliad many files and its also very slow.. hope developer give grant to make better mirror like google drive or mega..
Hey Guys.. please stop the mimimi about the filehoster... If you really want to test this Rom, than live with this choice of the filehoster. :angel:

I didn't know about the existence of that section. But I don't think I can move this thread. We need an admin/moderator
is it normal that it takes so long to reboot? Almost always have to "prepare" the apps after all reboots
EDIT: Sometimes, even reboot twice, idk why
EDIT2: A bug.. i think. The fingerprint for unlock doesnt work. I can't find the option to enable the fingerprint

Wow this is great!
Ok, guys, we might have solved the GPS wakelock problem. Keeping GPS on "Device Only" mode now works perfectly and the GPS sleeps like a baby after using it. However, "High accuracy" still keeps the phone awake, but I guess for now it's some good improvement. Also, updated our blobs to 8.2.4.0 (not sure if this is good or bad, haha). I'll test battery life now and probably post an update by tomorrow.
