i have been using honor 4x(cherry L01) , from last two years. And I rooted my phone into mokee about 1 yr back and I was able to use 4g network. When I rooted again to MIUI about 1 month back I lost 3G/4G.Then I reverted back to mokee and still I could not use 3G/4G.It was showing only 2g in the settings I selected 4g even. Then I tried rooting my phone into stock rom and now I'm using stock rom.But still I can't use 4g/3g network.I can use only 2g.Now I realised that the phone is supporting only 2g even though I selected 4g in the settings.What should I do?? Ny solution???
try clean flashing any custom rom once and see

i get the 4g icon or H+ but when i try and use it, it just not working or can't use it

I think it happen by me flashing it to cynagenmod and when i flashed to that i had no service at all, and my sims card was inside the whole time, so flashed my rom to Doom Froyo, and i get service but no internet.
PLEASE HELP!!!

I'm being annoyed by my SGS about his data connection. Hope someone could help me!
Few days ago I flashed MIUI Mintberry 2.1.20 and everything was working like a charm, but this morning data connection switch failed several times.
I've tried to wipe everything, re-flash Mintberry and even to flash JVU stock with Odin, but I still can't switch on my data connection.
I can't even see any icon on the status bar.
Any idea? Is my phone broken?

Hmm this is strange, so you turned data on but theres no symbol, right? Have you tried installing another kernel (maybe also applying the Kernel Cleaning Script)?
I' ve tried everything with Odin, and at the moment I have a beautiful black screen of death.
Odin cannot recognize my phone... I'm very frustrated
EDIT: Upgrading Kies'drivers, I managed to connect the phone with Odin again, so I've flashed the lastest official stock firmware to check my antennas. In the worst case, I'll be able to go to the shop for assistance without problems.
Have u tried typin ur apn maually?

Sounds like a settings issue. Never heard of anyone have this problem before - I've flashed every version of mintberry including betas.

I just had this and figured out what is wrong, its a easy fix too! Just go to settings and wireless and change the access point for your mobile connection. I had 2 access points and just switched it to the other one and my data started working again!

I've tried to set APN manually, to change custom ROM and custom kernels and coming back to stock too, but still no data connection icon (neither data connection itself).
At the moment, I'm on JVO, the latest official italian firmware, everything is fine but 3g data connection.
Other ideas? Shall i need of Samsung customer service (I hope no!)?

MIUI default settings fault: SMS notification has ran out my money and my provider has blocked 3g connection.
My phone is safe!
Ok here is my problem, when I am on lte and I lose signal and it moves back to 3g my phone never fully reconnects to data. But if I manually switch to cdma it connects fine to 3g. I have tried to reactivate but it doesn't work well. I think something is seriously wrong with my device.
What software version and firmware version do you currently have installed on your device?
I'm running viper Rom 3.1.0 updated to the lastest firmware. 3.30.651.2.
Hi guys.
So a week ago my Mi5 only want to connect to edge, the LTE and 3G simply wont work.
I tryed everything, forcing it to only use LTE = No connection - same goes for 3G
I have also tryed to reset APN settings and nothing. I contacted my carrier, and they told me everything was fine.
I just tested it in my old Meizu and the LTE works fine. Anyone know what could cause it?
Please help, cause as for now the connection is so slow that without Wifi it might aswell be a flipphone...
Update: I also tryed to install a stable rom using this method: http://en.miui.com/a-232.html
But i cant, i get the "Your allowe to flash the newest stable rom from develop version ONLY"
Try this:
1. In Settings/About phone/ press several times on Internal memory
2. Press Phone information 1 or 2
3. Scroll down and Set Preffered network type as you see on image or chose LTE Ony .
4. Wait few seconds till change has effect.

lately if i enable wifi on my phone the phone either will keep connecting/disconnnecting to wifi networks or doesnt connect at all, plus,
all gsm signal bars will start playing like 1 second im connected to towers 1 sec im not(keeps searching for provider), once i disable wifi i will get stable connection to provider, stable 4g
is it possible the wifi card/chipset in phone is damaged and effecting gsm receiption?
any help will be apreciated

I have the HK version, i updated to pie 10 days ago and i never rooted... it all started in a sudden, i tried network reset settings, then soft reset last hard reset... same result

Hmmm...well this is normally where I would suggest flashing a KDZ but that I'm aware of that's still not possible....but what you could try is switching from Slot A to B or from B to A depending on which you currently have active....its possible that your modem for corrupted for some reason....and it may be fully functional on the other slot....but it's just a guess

Same result...I took the sim card out completely, still having wifi issues now
I'm having the same issues. Mine is from T-Mobile and it all started when I upgraded to Android Pie.
